About: Hello fellow dog lovers! With over 20 years of experience owning and caring for dogs, I understand the deep bond between humans and their furry companions. Although I cannot host pets in my rental overnight, I’d love to take your dog for a walk or house sit where they feel most comfortable- your home! She has two English bulldogs and a cat of her own and is experienced in handling all kinds of dog quirks, behaviors, clicker training,and medical and dietary needs. About: I have been working with animals since I was a child! I grew up on a farm with horses and our trusty yellow Labradors, learning from an early age the true meaning of taking care of others. I love providing dogs the happiest experience - I find such joy when playing, running, skiing, or hiking with dogs and seeing the BIG smile on their faces! Any pups that stay with me, my husband, and our goofy dog, Miles, will have a fantastic time, as well as guaranteed adventure (as appropriate!). When your pup stays with us, he/she will never be left alone and will be treated as one of our own. Having fur-babies of our own, I understand the importance of knowing that your pup is well taken care of according to his/her needs. We hope to see you soon! I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule. Considering this, your pup will never be left alone and enjoy our company (and snuggles) 24/7. About: Since childhood, I’ve always felt most at home among nonhuman animals, and I’ll never understand humans who treat animals as less deserving of love, respect, and care. My animals are my family, and I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I have experience with cats and dogs of all temperaments. One of my dogs has a history of reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. I feel very comfortable managing this type of behavior using treats, ecollar, muzzle, prevention techniques, and communication with other dog-owners. I’m also experienced managing groups of dogs off leash and will work with your dog to reinforce good recall and safety behaviors (such as stopping at intersections, waiting before they go out of sight, sitting for cars, passing other dogs, etc.). I am a writer who works from home. I am available for daycare, afternoon walks & drop-ins, and select boarding for dogs who get along well with my two dogs and are good with cats. If your dog is trained off-leash, has solid recall, and is either good with other dogs or muzzle trained, I offer pack hikes and walks. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that goes into the main living areas. My two dogs & 4 cats are onsite. Your dog must be good with cats and other dogs or be muzzle-trained to attend daycare or boarding at my home. Your dogs will get a walk or adventure during daycare (unless you prefer them not to, in which case they must be able to stay home alone for 1-2 hours either kenneled or loose without becoming destructive). To attend off-leash pack walks/hikes, your dogs must demonstrate reliable recall even when triggers are present (such as an other dogs, wildlife, cats, cars, etc.). Your dog must also have no history of aggression towards other dogs or people OR be muzzle-trained.

Matthew watched my older Frenchie while we took a day trip for some challenging hikes. My pup adjusted immediately and was so comfortable at Matt’s place. It’s a literal dog haven. He’s been so chill since we picked him up. Little dude loves it there! Highly recommend Matt if you’re traveling and needing a trustworthy sitter.
We had an amazing experience with Nastasiya and Kyle! They took excellent care of Toby, and treated him like their own! They even took him on a hike and dog park! Very communicative and friendly! If we are visiting in Durango again we will definitely go to them again!
Upon bringing Sadie to Camryn's home, she greeted Sadie right away and made Sadie feel she was in a safe place. Sadie's first time staying with someone she didn't know went well. I checked in midway through her stay Camryn let me know Sadie was doing good. As I picked Sadie up from her stay she was comfortable and happy to see me. I was pleased to see Sadie and Camryn enjoy each other's company. Would recommend Camryn to anyone looking for a dog sitter.
Pete had such a lovely time with Emily and Pepper! We were in Durango for the weekend and Emily watched Pete while we went horseback riding back riding. She sent pictures and videos— it was obvious he was having a great day! Now we’re back at our VRBO and he’s sound asleep :-)
