I’m currently working full time during Tuesday-Saturday (7:30am-3pm) but am able to leave for lunch to check on or let your pet outside to potty or walk. I work and live in downtown Durango. I’m available daily in the evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
The safety and well-being of your pet is my #1 priority. Making sure gates and locks are secure, proper leashes/harnesses are being used, following all the care instructions exactly and sending regular updates (if you’d like) to keep communication open are a few things I’ve found keep your pet safe and happy. In general, I just want to create an environment that your pet will thrive in.

Some important info that I would like to know about your pets includes routine, any health issues or concerns, emergency contacts, behavioral quirks and any house rules.
A typical day
I live downtown so I like to take dogs on walks around my neighborhood and/or the river trail so they can smell all the new smells and get some exercise while we're at it. In the summer, I like to do more hikes and go to the river.

Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of several types of dogs, cats and even a bird in the last 5 years. Every week, my work does a “Buddy Day” with the humane society where we have an adoptable dog come hangout with us for the day and then I bring them back at the end of the day. This has exposed me to so many different types and personalities of dogs! I’m also comfortable giving medication and taking care of pets that may be under the weather.
Reviews

Mochi seemed to really enjoy her time with Autumn and I felt like she was in good hands! They had some good cuddles and walks
I have an epileptic dog, another dog with an autoimmune disorder and a very spirited parrot. Autumn is one of the very few people I trust to take care of my animals and allows me to feel comfortable leaving town. In no way are my dogs easy. One of my dogs sometimes needs emergency medication and both of them take medication twice a day. My Bird is also a handful as she needs lots of attention and love. Autumn has been assisting me with my animals for years now and is always a joy to be around. She sends me photos, keeps me up-to-date and spends a lot of quality time with them. They have grown to love her deeply. I could not ask for a better animal sitter. Anyone would be lucky to have her.
