About: I bring a lifelong love of animals and a wide range of hands-on experience. I grew up caring for animals of all kinds, have walked dogs and supported adoptions in shelter environments, and have provided reliable in-home care through years of house sitting. I’ve also lived with and fostered cats for most of my life—including young, feral, and undersocialized ones—which has given me a strong intuition for reading animal behavior and offering calm, compassionate care. I'm skilled in administering all types of medications and am happy to handle the day-to-day tasks, from walks to litter box deep cleans, with real care and attention. As a self-employed person with a very flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate pet care throughout the week—including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. This allows me to tailor my availability to meet the specific needs of each pet and household, whether it’s daily visits, drop-ins, or walks at off-peak hours. When boarding cats in my home, I provide a calm, private room just for them—completely separate from my own cats—to ensure they feel safe and stress-free during their stay. In a client’s home, I’m attentive to any specific routines or safety needs, including crating dogs if requested. I always prioritize a pet’s comfort and well-being, keeping their environment clean, secure, and aligned with what they're used to.

“I love my 12 year old, blind, toothless, and diabetic Brussels griffon so much it's almost embarrassing. I would bring him with me everywhere in one of those baby slings if I could, but the sad truth is that I can't. And whenever something unavoidable came up or I had to go on a work trip I used to feel so guilty for having to leave him behind with family members that I didn't completely trust to stick to his diet or medicate him properly. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to travel last minute and I swear it was like the stars aligned when I found Jeanelle. Bandit is very picky about strangers but he loved her immediately. I have had her sit for me several times since and she not only takes amazing care of him every time, but she has also been phenomenal about soothing my anxiety about having to leave him home. She keeps in touch multiple times a day to let me know he got his insulin or he made a friend on their walk or just to share a pic of something extra adorable he did. She has become my first call whenever I need to plan something and I've even planned around her schedule to be able to ensure that she will be available to care for Bandit when I can't be home to do it myself. I seriously don't know what I would do without her sometimes.”
