“Eli goes above and beyond!! My puppy tore up some stuff at the house and he went out of his way to sweep up all the cushion stuffing and get my place back to normal while I was away! The BEST”

About: I've had a variety of pets my entire life...dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even a snake! Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to take care of their pets for years. I have experience with diabetic and senior care. I'm a retired veteran, so I'll have plenty of time for walks and play! I am flexible with times and am available every day of the week. I take my time with your pet, they will miss you and need the extra attention and comfort! I discuss the wants and needs of both owners and pets, and make sure I have your emergency contact and Vet info. I do safety/security checks at each visit (locks, lights, hazardous items, etc). My main goal is for your pet to be safe and loved!

About: Need a helping paw with your pup’s daily walks? I’m here to make life easier for you and keep your fur baby happy and healthy. Whether you’re busy at work, away for the day, or just need an extra hand, I provide safe, enjoyable 30-minute walks, feeding, playtime, and loving care for your pet. I also offer boarding at my home and doggie day care. I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and will provide your pup with the same love and care that I give to my own. I’m retired and home full time so I’m pretty flexible with schedules. I’m available morning through evenings from 8am-10pm, but will adjust times as needed. I’m happy to work with you to accommodate your pet’s schedule in your home, whether it involves multiple walks a day, feeding, special diets, administering medication, providing playtime, affection, and cuddles, or spending quality time together to ensure bonding and emotional well-being.

“I booked Mike last minute while I was on vacation and he responded right away! He was very, very communicative and was wonderful with the dogs (75 lbs Tibetan Mastiff and 120 lbs Rottweiler). I highly recommend him and will be booking again in the future. Thank you so much for all your help and putting my mind at ease while away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Caleb did an amazing job walking our dog. He was communicative and even spent time playing with him a bit after their walks! I will definitely be rebooking with him and would highly recommend him!”

About: I’ve had several dogs over the years and enjoyed caring for them. I’m recently retired and looking to match my love for pets with my newly available free time I’m retired and have substantial amounts of free time. This includes weekdays and weekends. I’m also available holidays. In short, I’m always available to take on jobs If you have a fenced yard, I will ensure gates are closed and supervise their outside time. If walking, I will ensure dogs are leashed waked according to owner instructions

About: I am a runner, so if you request, I would be happy to take your dog on a jog! I have dogsat as many neighbors/friends/family dogs as possible over the years, from golden retrievers and Portuguese waterdogs to pugs and my morkie (maltese/yorkie), so comfortable with any size dog. Married into caring for Pearly (dog in profile photo) in 2022. She is 14 now and needs to be let out to pee every ~6 hours, and has a very particular diet we have to watch over, which includes pills from time to time. I work full-time remotely. Besides Mondays I have very few meetings, so I can take a break from work whenever (I already do to care for my dog 2x/weekday). Every pet is unique, so I'd really want detail on what care they normally get, and try to emulate that as closely as possible. I make an effort to gain trust with anyone's pet by being gentle and friendly, petting calmly in safe areas like the back, slowly becoming more playful and increasing trust and comfort with me.

“Alyssa has been fantastic. I have reserved her services for two weeks now with great results. She takes great care of my dog while always giving updates. I will continue to request Alyssa for dog walking services when needed.”

About: I have owned pets most of my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, and many other animals. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover for many years. I have a very sweet pitbull and do not discriminate against any breed! I understand the importance of trust and communication while allowing someone to care for your pet! I will always go above and beyond to give extra love to your furry friend, not just take care of basic needs. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am available for drop ins or walks anytime after 9am. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

I can usually make arrangements if needed as well. N/A I'm only available for dog walking. *I need eighteen more words to fill out this form so here they are are are are. Thanks!

About: I grew up with first one dog and currently two back home in CT. I always offered to pet sit and walk or let out neighbors dogs. A dog to me is more than a pet its a loving companion and its therapy. Nobody else gives you unconditional love like a dog everyday you come home. I'm currently working full-time but manage to fit it into my weeks and weekends. I stay at the house I watch and travel back and forth to work from that location. I like to stay at the client's home to make them feel safe and comfortable in their own environment and so they can stay in their routine.

About: Hi, I’m a 23-year-old University of Maryland graduate currently working remotely in sales. As someone who lives with and cares for two dogs and four cats at my family home, I understand the love and dedication it takes to care for pets. I’ve been caring for animals since childhood, starting with my first cat, Jumper, and have gained experience with everything from kittens and puppies to senior pets. Joining Rover allows me to bring structure to my remote workdays while helping others care for their furry family members. Whether you need someone to walk your dog, provide companionship, or handle special needs, I’m here to help! I’m currently working full-time remotely, so I am able to visit pets most times throughout the day. During the evenings and weekends I am usually free! I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. I maintain a clean, secure, and pet-friendly environment, following any specific care instructions you provide. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or special routines, I’ll make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and comfortable. Your pet will always be supervised and loved, with plenty of playtime and attention!

Beth R.Star Sitter
“Beth and I served in the Navy together until she retired after 24 years of military service. She is a military veteran, an awesome person, and was one of my go-to caregivers for my dog, Harper when Harper was still alive. As my dog aged, she needed more than the traditional snuggles, walks, and feeding when I was away. Beth never shied away from these extra tasks and carefully administered eye drops and oral medications several times a day while Harper was in her care. I always felt confident leaving Harper with her. Sadly, Harper passed of natural causes last year and I miss her so much. But I am finally ready to adopt a new furry family member and Beth will be at the top of my list for dog sitters. She is kind, trustworthy, and LOVES animals. She has two cats of her own, and believe me when I tell you that they are adored and pampered. If you need someone you can count on to love and care for your pets while you are away, look no further! Beth is your girl!”
