About: As a registered nurse I cannot commit to being a doggy parent yet, but I sure do love helping other families and their pets. While having strong integrity, I believe my ability to meet animals where they are and respect their quirks makes me an ideal pet sitter. I see that every animal is an individual and would love to adhere to a routine that you set out for them. I am currently taking a short break from nursing and enjoying exploring San Diego. I have open availability until mid-September. Beyond that, I would love to fit pet sitting into my routine and will see if I am able to accomodate that with a new schedule. I typically work 3 12 hrs shift so that does leave some days open. I try to always adhere to the pet's routine and love learning likes and dislikes. I have worked in other's homes before as a home-based therapeutic worker with children and have also done tons of babysitting. I am always easily accessible and leave places better than I find them.

About: I fostered and then adopted my own Boxer from PAWS in Coronado. She’s now 6 years old. I love to walk and I’d be happy to help love your pet. I work from home in the medical device industry. My team is distributed globally so I have the flexibility to step away for pet care while also balancing my career. Safety is my number one priority. I have worked with dog trainers and most of that training was for me to learn how to better read animals and their comfort levels. My approach is to introduce anything new very slowly and calmly and provide plenty of time and space for acclimation.

Don't forget to pack their lunch, but just in case I always have some extra to share. My home has dog zones for your dogs safety. My family room & kitchen are open concept but the rest of the house is safely sealed with a gate to keep your dog comfortable & safe. My yard is 100% concrete block fenced in with grass & wood chip area's that are made for playtime! About: With experience in a dog shelter, pet sitting, and caring for my own animals, I’ve worked with pets needing extra care—whether it’s a cat with health challenges, a senior dog needing gentle attention, a playful puppy, or a shelter animal with a unique personality. I also studied animal behavior both on campus and abroad for my BA, contributing to a thorough understanding of pet behavior and individual needs. I take a patient, tailored approach to make every pet feel comfortable and loved. I am currently fully available and open to all types of pet sitting, from overnight stays to drop-in visits. With a flexible schedule, I can accommodate your pet’s specific needs and provide individualized, loving care. When caring for pets in their home, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I make sure to follow any specific instructions for feeding, exercise, and medications, while providing lots of attention, love, and playtime. I keep the home clean and secure, respecting the owner’s space, and ensure that the pet feels at ease in their familiar environment.

About: Hi, we are Andrew and Kris. We've had pets our entire lives and have started to care for others in addition to our own puppy, Benelli. We have experience caring for various animals including dogs, cats, and snakes. We are quite flexible between our two schedules, and can work with you to create a care plan that fits your needs. Extended stays are welcome. We live in a very walkable neighborhood, minutes away from Balboa Park, “The Dog Park,” and Little Italy Dog Park. We have differing schedules, so we can find plenty of time to play with your pup! We are available for boarding as well, and just need advance notice for scheduling. We have a spacious apartment and are both animal lovers. We currently have one amazing Labradane in the house who loves to play with other pets (if you allow it; otherwise he is very well crate trained and can remain separated). Your pets will have no shortage of attention and affection here!

“Brody absolutely loves his walks with Isaiah! He’s kind, reliable, and goes above and beyond by teaching Brody new skills and reinforcing the ones he already knows. Couldn’t recommend him more!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, beginning with growing up alongside a family dog and later raising two puppies. In addition to personal pet ownership, I have provided dog sitting/walking services over the years. I have looked after dogs of various breeds, temperaments, and ages. I am comfortable with tasks such as feeding, walking, basic training reinforcements, and, of course, giving lots of love and attention! I am a student who is currently off school for the summer break. I am able to provide my services at anytime during the week. In caring for a dog, I believe that a safe and trusting environment is essential. In creating a strong bond with the dog, as well as, open communication with the owner, I know I am able to provide such care.

Nancy S.
“Nancy has watched my two kitties for a week while I was away! She provided top notch care for my fur-children (which i knew she would because she had a pup of her own that she spoils and gives the most affection to). I know I will again!”

Lilia M.
“I have a 6 year old shih-tzu that Lily has helped me with multiple times over the years. My pup absolutely loves seeing her ! From the very first time she walked my dog I could tell she really cared about animals and treated them as family. It’s been such a relief knowing that when I have a really busy work week I can rely on Lily to help me out with my dog and know he is in good hands. Lily has always been reliable, professional and communicative. She updates me with photos and a brief update letting me know how the day went for them. I swear my dog walks better on a leash since going for walks with Lily ! It’s so rare to find someone you can trust with your dog the way I trust Lily. Both my dog and I wholeheartedly recommend her services. She genuinely loves dogs and goes above and beyond for clients.”
