About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Petworth with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-4 y/o, Pomeranian-15 y/o, Husky-10 y/o, and Pittie-6 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. I look forward to walking dogs and meeting/sitting various pets in our neighborhood. Thank you for considering me to care for your special family member! My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I work in my office 8 hours a day, four days a week. My in-office days are (typically) Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm (because of commute time), so on these days I can walk or visit your pet before or after work. With prearrangement, your pet may even be able to accompany me in office (my 15 y/o Pomeranian comes with me to work). On my work-from-home days, I’m available to sit and work from your home or take a lunch break to walk or drop-in on your pet. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). We have a backyard and 2 separate living spaces in our home, giving us room for extra pups. Our home has one-step entry in the back, making it great for elderly dogs or dogs with joint problems.

About: I had two dogs back in my hometown and they feel like boss of the house when I am around. I can take care of puppies, small dogs and big ones too. I am currently doing my masters at UMD and I am usually free in the day because my classe are mostly scheduled in the evening I live in apartment housing, well it has a park and lot of space to walk around. I can come to your house and walk them around.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes for about 5 years now. Walking, feeding, playing, and even cuddling are some of my favorite things to do to satisfy the dogs needs as well as the everyday physical requirement. I love being in the presence of animals, so gaining the opportunity to care for them personally would be a delight. I am currently engaged in a part-time law internship so I have an ample amount of time to spread accordingly throughout the week. From early morning hours, to mid-day or even evenings on the weekends or weekdays, I am available. My approach to caring for the pets within the clients home is firstly, abiding by the rules of the home and expectations of the pet. For example, if the dog is not allowed on the couch, I would not want to disrupt that practice during my visit. Secondly, I would provide my undivided attention to the dog, ensuring all of the necessary requirements are met.

About: I have two elderly cats and a handicapped dog that i have experience taking care of. I am a student at the University of Maryland; I am currently a senior so I have a lot of free time to spend caring for pets. I will follow all directions exactly; my yard is not fenced in but I will gladly visit clients’ houses to care for their pets as needed.

About: I've lived with 1+ pets for the majority of my life, and feel quite strongly that life is exponentially better with a furry friend by your side. I have experience working with anywhere from 1 to 8 animals at a time, including dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, and some limited work with reptiles. I am comfortable administering medical care to animals as instructed, in addition to providing enrichment, activity, and general TLC to your fur babies. I am flexible with my scheduling, and am happy to provide overnight care. I will be working part-time this summer, which will allow me to be flexible with and attentive to your fur babies' needs! I can do overnight stays, in-house only. I am currently living in an apartment, so while I would not be able to house your pets overnight, I am comfortable with in-home, overnight care and/or thorough and frequent visits throughout the day, and have reliable transportation to do so. I approach pet care with respect for household and animal boundaries and dispositions; I strive to help maintain routine and comfort levels for each and every animal in my care. Long walks, park visits, appointment drop-off/pick-up, etc., I'm very willing and able to help keep your critters comfy while you're away!

About: I am an owner of two dogs myself, and I have cared for, walked, and fed the pets of friends and family, and I love all animals and am eager to care for them as a job. My oldest dog is 15 years old and we rescued him when I was 6, and my second dog is 3 and she's a Goldendoodle. With owning two different dogs I have experience with different energy levels, food requirements, and general needs. I am good at taking directions and will follow them to a T! I look forward to looking after your pets. I am currently on summer break from college, and am looking for some extra work to save up money for the year! I heard about Rover and it sounded like a great and flexible opportunity to do something I like as a job, and other than days I am away on vacation I am highly available, especially on short notice, to sit, walk, and feed pets. As I have two dogs at home, I am not planning on hosting any pets in my home, but I can crate dogs in a client's home or manage them as they roam the house and backyard depending on the needs and wishes of the client and pet. I can follow the clients' directions very well, but I am also quite adept at regular pet caretaking skills as I have two of my own.

About: I volunteered at the Milwaukee Humane Society doing dog walking for one year with dogs of all ages, backgrounds, and sizes! I also have taken care of 1 senior dog for a year, 2 pups for a couple weeks, and 3 dogs (two being seniors!) for 2 years. In addition to this, I have 8 years of equine experience (13 years of riding, 8 of chores, and 3 of farm staying), and I've also watched goats, ducks, and chickens on these beautiful farms! I'm confident with medications and different personalities because of these experiences. I'm a full-time student currently, so my weeks are pretty open! I am very flexible and will always be able to make time for your pet. Early mornings and evenings are my most available times! I am a very attentive caretaker who followers instructions precisely. Seriously, precisely - I will ask lots of questions if I'm confused! I love spending time with pets, whether playing or relaxing. I do have a cat in my home, so your pet must be okay with a cat!
