“Cheryl was a fantastic sitter for us! She was super flexible and responsive and really enjoyable to interact with. She took great care of our dog Rosie and went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and secure. Rosie *loves* her and now wants her back! I recommend her highly.”

“Chase does SUCH a phenomenal job! He was so attentive to all our notes about Pierre and went above and beyond! It was extra hot while he was sitting and he even brought an extra fan for the dog! He is so kind, responsible, and bright. We truly trust very very few with our dog but Chase is top of the trustworthy list!! A++ work, we highly recommend.”

“Ayden was great! I have 2 cats and a young German shepherd and they all seemed very happy with Ayden. She sent me plenty of pictures and I came home to my place very clean and exactly as I’d left it!”

“Leslie was sent from heaven! Seriously…I needed a last minute sitter for my two Senior small dogs after my daughter’s health prevented her from taking them. Leslie was everything you would want when turning the responsibilities of your babies to someone else. She is prompt, organized and responsible. My dogs are not easy…one wanders the house with dementia and doesn’t go for walks so she needs cleaning up after throughout the day. The other wants Constant attention and can’t usually sleep thru the night without having to go out and pee. My husband and I were totally able to enjoy our trip to the British isles for 17 days without worrying about the “ children”.”

“Aliyah was great with our dogs! She arrived on time and sent us lots of update and pictures. We were definitely reassured that our dogs were in good hands and had someone to keep them company.”

“James and his girlfriend Aurora were incredible to work with. They were very responsive, kind and took great care of our dog Rhonnie, including sending update pictures throughout the day. We trust them fully and will work with them for future needs as well.”

“We went away to visit our daughter. There are only 2 people we trust our dogs with when we are away. Dario is one of them. Thanks for caring for our fur babies as if they are your own! Archie and Lennon love Dario!”

About: I’ve taken care of not just my own Animlas but others, for a couple years! Animals are genuine sweet creatures and I love to meet new animals! I currently work part time, so i have a good amount of time to take care of animals. I work early mornings but have breaks. I can have extended love and protection for your babies. Honestly whatever is needed I can most likely do! I hope to meet your sweet babies.

About: My lifelong journey with pets began in childhood, where I was surrounded by a diverse menagerie that taught me the unique needs and personalities of different animals. Growing up with golden retrievers provided my foundation in canine care - from daily walks and training to understanding their gentle, family-oriented nature. Our household also included two cats that introduced me to feline independence and the subtle art of earning a cat’s trust and affection. Beyond mammals, I gained hands-on experience maintaining birds and multiple aquarium systems, learning the delicate balance required for aquatic ecosystems and the daily attention that avian companions need. The most profound chapter of my pet care experience came through my 15-year relationship with two purebred teacup Yorkshire terriers. These tiny companions required specialized care due to their delicate size and breed-specific needs, from careful monitoring of their fragile bone structure to understanding their bold personalities that far exceeded their diminutive stature. Through a decade and a half of dedicated care, I learned the deep responsibility that comes with pet ownership - the daily routines, veterinary care, dietary management, and most importantly, the unconditional love and patience required to provide these cherished family members with the quality of life they deserved. This experience taught me that pet care extends far beyond basic feeding and shelter; it’s about understanding each animal’s individual needs and building lasting bonds built on trust and compassion. I am a Digital Nomad and Artist, so I have a very flexible schedule. I practice yoga, do my work, make ceramics and paint at my art studio space in Ojai. I don’t currently have any pets after my 4lbs “prince of darkness” and the sweetest honeybear passed. In the meantime, pet sitting is a lovely way to connect with animals while working toward my long-term goals — and eventually having a pet of my own again. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—talking to them, hanging out, going on long walks at the beach or on nearby trails. It might sound quirky, but I think most pet lovers talk to their animals. My schedule is flexible; I’ll need to step out occasionally for yoga, lunch, or to visit my studio, but I’m able to come and go freely. I’m financially independent—a yogi, entrepreneur, and avid reader. I don’t drink, I’m committed to getting eight hours of sleep each night, and I care deeply about living a healthy, balanced life. I try to keep things relaxed and intentional. For me, a meaningful life is one lived with integrity, self-expression, and love—for both people and animals. That is how I live my life and how I will care for your pets and home.

About: Hello There! My little family and myself are pet lovers! 🥰 We have two dogs, two cats and a bearded dragon. Our home has always been a bit of a revolving door for furry friends. I have been dog walking and pet sitting locally for the past 17yrs and have plenty of references. I am out and about most mornings doing dog walks, typically 9/930-12ish and available again most afternoon or evenings depending on what you need. I work for an afterschool program during the school year so my schedule tends to open up a bit more during the summer. We have a high, fully fenced in back yard w plenty of shade. I tend to take boarded pups w me on my walks if the temperament works. We live in a very quiet little corner in Carpinteria surrounded by parks and bike trails.

“Justin did a great job looking after our dog Quinn while we were out of town. He provided periodic updates and pictures and we could tell Quinn was in good hands when we got home. Will definitely ask Justin to watch Quinn again for future trips”

“My husband and I recently took a 4 day Vegas trip and we were very happy and pleased to have Katherine stay with our baby. Although this was my first time having Katherine watch our babies she made us feel at ease. She communicated with us about our babies and sent pictures. We will definitely be calling Katherine for all of our dog sitting needs. If your looking for someone to watch your babies look no further! Thanks again Katherine for staying with our babies!!”

About: I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up and this is how my love for dogs began. We have owned all sorts of different breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs over the years and I cherished them all. Most of our dogs were adopted from shelters and they were often very timid when we welcomed them to our home. Eventually they warmed up and became as happy as ever! I currently have a 72 lb chocolate lab from a local shelter. Our favorite activity is hiking. He is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. It is up to the owner if they want me to bring him to bookings. I have a full-time job with standard working hours from 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. I can work from home or the office as I desire. We have a fenced-in yard with plenty of room to play. We separated one area of the yard for potty breaks and the other area for play.

About: Hello, my name is Deandra. I've been pet sitting for over 5 years,(I have experience with senior dogs/cats and administer meds if needed) Have also worked with animals for alittle over 10 years, I used to work for Goleta animal services for 4 years, and prior to that I worked for DAWG animal rescue, however now I am a stay at home mom, with a flexible schedule! Also have large breed dog/cat of my own. I can administer meds, walk, and provide your animal with tlc. I have always had a passion for working with animals so just know your dog/cat will be safe when with me. I'm also always easy to get ahold of. I am a stay at home mom so I am home most of the day, and very flexible with my time. I can provide attention and care for your fur baby. I have a fenced yard with a 10' x6' ft enclosed kennel (if needed). Dogs are allowed in and out of the house throughout the day. Have lots of shade in dog run/mostly shaded yard. Your dog will have supervised indoor/outdoor access.

“I didn't have any worries on my trip because Danielle was a great communicator and sent me pics of my fur babies. Danielle is calm, sweet and responsible. I knew my kitties were very very happy. I will definitely book again with her. Thank you Danielle!!! 😊”

Tonia b.
“As someone who is a sitter on Rover myself, Tonia is the person I trust my dog with. It is so important you find someone caring, trustworthy and with great communication skills to leave your pup with and Tonia is all of that and more. Tonia has watched my Yoshi several times and always sends photos and updates me with his behavior and mood. He comes back happy and not clingy which is a sign that he was given lots of attention and care! Even though Tonia is new to Rover, she is not new to pet sitting. She is who you can trust to care and love your puppy! It’s a vacation for them too when you book with Tonia.”

Marc Z.
“Marc has been an absolutely extraordinary presence in my golden retriever's life – and in ours – for nearly a decade. He's not just a dog walker or pet sitter; he's truly become part of our family. From the very beginning Marc showed a sense of responsibility, kindness and attentiveness that immediately put me – and more importantly, Ruby – at ease. Over the years, Marc has been there through every stage of Ruby's life, from her playful puppy days with boundless energy to her now, slightly slower and more tender senior years. No matter what phase she was in, he adapted with patience, compassion, and care that went above and beyond anything I could've asked for. Marc has always been completely reliable and deeply caring. His ability to connect with animals is truly special. Ruby lights up whenever she hears his truck coming up the road – it's clear that she feels safe, loved, and understood in his care. And that means everything to me and my husband. We trust Marc completely and that trust has only deepened over the years. He is communicative, professional, and always goes the extra mile –whether that's a thoughtful update in a photo, a last minute favor, or just his calm, dependable presence. He takes care of her at his home when we go out of town. If you're looking for someone who is trustworthy, warm hearted, dependable, intuitive, gentle, and experienced – someone who will love and care for your dog as if it was his own – Marc is the person you're looking for. I can't imagine a better person to trust with the care of a beloved pet, and I'll always be grateful for the peace of mind he's giving me, my husband, and Ruby the years.”

Bart H.
“Bart has extensive experience with dogs. He has one of his own and his dog is much better behaved than my dog. They took him to training and reinforce what they learned in those training classes. Bart dog sits for me all the time. He is my first choice when it comes to dog sitters.”

Anna A.

“Our Aussie adored his time with Anna!”

Monica C.

“Monica did a great job managing our home and our pup, Cali, seemed very calm and happy when we returned. We would definitely use Monica again.”
