About: I was born into a pet-loving home and began helping with pet care as early as age six — feeding, walking, and helping with training our family dogs. Since then, I’ve spent over three decades caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and built on a lifetime of hands-on experience. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.

“I couldn’t be happier with Katherine’s service! I highly recommend her to other dog owners. I have a newly adopted dog who is a rescue and he is very nervous in new surroundings. Katherine came to our house for a meet and greet before hand which allowed my dog to get to know her. Katherine was patient, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of animal behavior and training techniques. She sent me pictures throughout the day so that I had peace of mind that my dog was being well taken care of while I had to work. Thank you Katherine!”

“Kelsey is awesome! Stella barked with glee as she was just parking her car!!!!! She loooooved her so much she hugged her the minute Kelsey walked in the door! Thrilled to have found Kelsey for my high energy Goldendoodle.”

About: My husband and I have both had dogs our entire lives and we now have one pup of our own at home. We have been dog sitting for friends for 6+ years and live an active lifestyle to keep all the dogs entertained and tired out. We dog sit all ages, breeds, and sizes and our dog is very friendly with other dogs. We are happy to provide walks, bathrooms breaks, runs, baths, and snuggles! We are both currently working full-time hybrid with very flexible schedules for walks, runs, and time on the beach. We are available to dog sit during the week or on weekends. Due to our hybrid schedule, at least one of us is home weekends & most weekdays for snuggles, treats, and walks/bathroom breaks. We live in a cozy 2-level condo with our own outdoor space as well as an upstairs balcony for the pups to lounge on. We are a 5-min walk to the beach and bring our own pup there almost daily. Our home is set up for dogs and we can happily crate your fur baby, if needed. We can feed at any designated times and provide lots of cuddles and walks throughout the day.

About: Hello! Welcome to my profile, my name is Graci Jaffe, I am from Carpinteria and just recently moved back. I have always loved animals since I was a kid, and have always had pets growing up! I have about 5 years experience with dog/house sitting and dog walking. My house is a loving and safe place for your pet to stay! All pet sizes are welcome. I live just a few blocks away from the beach and can take your pet on beach walks, or to the park! I do prefer to stay at your house though because I do have a cat. I am happy to work with you on your pet’s needs to make sure they have a happy, safe and healthy stay with me! I can take up to 3 dogs at a time. I work part time at two different restaurants, my shifts are normally 4-5 hours long. So besides working 4-5 days a week I will have plenty of time to care for your pet, as long as it’s okay for your pet to be alone for some hours. I have an outside patio for your pet to be very comfortable in, I also have a very big house! I also love going on long walks at any time of day.

Ryan M.
“Ryan helped care for my golden retriever, Dusty, and my tabby cat, Cutie, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to trust with them. Dusty was slowing down and needed a little extra attention, and Ryan was always so patient and gentle with him. He connects with animals in a way that goes beyond just feeding and walking—they really respond to him. Cutie’s usually pretty shy, but she warmed up almost right away. Ryan was super reliable, kept me updated, and it was clear he genuinely cared. If you’re looking for someone calm, responsible, and naturally great with pets, I highly recommend him.”

“My girl Ginger obviously loves Katie and gets so excited when she comes over. Katie is playful and loving with Ginger but has also helped us reinforce Ginger's training. For instance Katie makes sure greeting does not involve jumping up. Ginger also has learned new tricks and games with Katie. On leaving, Ginger is a happy, tired pup. Perfect!! We have known Katie for almost a year. In addition to being an individual who loves dogs ( and the love is completely reciprocated) she is thoughtful, reliable, and honest. We can recommend Katie to care for dogs without hesitation.”
