About: I have an active 5 yr old rescue dog who I initially fostered. We have tried a number of dog sports including barn hunt, sprinter, lure and weight pull. While I'm not a dog trainer, I am well educated on dog body language, training, reactivity and fulfillment. I'm happy to maintain consistency in your training journey. On walks I like to focus on the dog being able to sniff and explore their environment. I believe that walks are for the dog so I let them dictate most of it as long as its safe. I also like to take moments to build your dog's confidence through play and urban agility. If there is any training you would like me to keep up on walks such as loose leash walking, I will gladly do so. I'm also experienced with various tools such as head halters, prong, e collars. I work a hybrid schedule and would be available for daycare and boarding during those days and weekends. Repeat clients will get priority for bookings Safety is my number one priority, baby gates, no indoor plants, no harsh chemicals in/around dogs space, meds/toxic foods are locked away. Crates for safety and separation, no high value chews or toys such as bones left out. Dogs will also be fed in separate spaces to prevent food related guarding. I put a lot of time into training and playing with my dog and any pet in my home will be given the same care

Huge thanks to Malaika and her partner! They accepted my last minute booking request for an overnight boarding and from the moment we had a phone conversation to get to know each other first I felt comfortable already. Drop off was smooth and Kaos was already excited and comfortable as well to be with them before I even drove off. She sent many pictures and updates with great communication which I greatly appreciate that. Kaos is very reactive to other dogs but Malaika was very understanding of that and adjusted to the nature of Kaos' walks. Pick up was also very smooth. My baby looked so happy and was pooped on the car ride home. Thank you so much again and we looking forward to booking with them again, highly recommended!

Lovely meeting Kristen she made things very easy, flexible with the time. I'm a little bit nervous leaving my baby with new people, she really took the time to understand all his quirks and needs. He was in good hands cuddling the night with Kristen as I got picture updates. Would definitely recommend! :)

It was my first time leaving Maggie with a sitter, so I was quite nervous. Right from our first meeting, Nicole put Maggie and me at ease. I could not be more pleased with how the week went for Maggie. Nicole sent me updates with pictures every day, letting me know how Maggie was doing.
