About: I’ve cared for my cousin’s dog several times, including overnight stays. I’m outgoing, attentive, and genuinely love caring for pets, always prioritizing their happiness, comfort, safety, and overall well-being. I’m currently in school and usually finish in the afternoon, which gives me plenty of time to focus on pet care. I also work part-time at Tim Hortons, allowing flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I live in an apartment and keep my home clean, safe, and pet-friendly, making sure pets are always away from anything risky. I also have a nearby park and a quiet, nice neighborhood, perfect for regular walks, playtime, and exercise to keep pets happy and comfortable.
“Naomi was great! We knew our cat was in great hands! We also had issues with our key and she handled the situation very helpfully and professionally which was a great relief!!”

About: I'm happy to have your dog join mine, Lennon. We are big walkers (you may have seen us along the Humber), so send me your high-energy dog. I also work at home, so I'll be in constant contact with your Best Pawed Friend. I'm self-employed, so I have lots of flexibility. I'm part of a family of four, so there are lots of experienced people for your dog to play with. Generally, I rely on lots of exercise to keep dogs calm. Aside from that, I've had lots of visiting foster dogs, so I've met many different types of dog personalities.
“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Rosalia! We’ve relied on her multiple times for drop-in visits, including walks, playtime, and feeding, and both our dogs absolutely love her. Rosalia is incredibly reliable and always keeps us updated with clear communication. She meticulously follows instructions specific to our pets, ensuring they are well-cared for and happy. We highly recommend Rosalia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated pet sitter!”

About: Are you looking for a trusted and reliable dog sitting service for your little furry friend? Look no further than my home-based dog sitting business! As a passionate dog lover and experienced pet owner, I provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for your dog to stay while you're away. Your pup will enjoy plenty of playtime, exercise, and cuddles in my spacious and fully equipped home. I offer flexible scheduling, competitive rates, and personalized care for each dog that stays with me. You can relax knowing that your dog is in good hands with me. Contact me today to book your dog's stay! I've cared for my own pets and many of my friends' and family's pets for over 20 years. I love training my own dogs and taking them for long walks around the neighbourhood. Having two dogs of my own, I'm prepared to take in an additional two dogs at any one time. I work from home, sometimes for 8 hours a day, but mostly less than 4 hours a day. A typical day for your dogs will be waking at approximately 7 am. They'll get outside potty and play time until breakfast at 8 am. Depending on my work schedule and their ability to relax, they'll either get quiet time in my office while I work or in their crates. We'll go out to the yard again around noon to potty and to play and then more quiet time for the afternoon (every time I get a break, the dogs get potty/play time) If I'm not working or have a short day, we may get out to a local conservation area for a run too. Dinner is around 5 pm to 6 pm, more yard time and then bedtime when I go to bed. All dogs must be friendly. At the very least, I expect them to get along with or happily ignore the other dogs in my house. All dogs in my care receive one-on-one playtime in the yard each day. All dogs will get lazy/rest time throughout the day I prefer dogs who are able to be crated or, at the very least, are able to kept contained when I'm not home. I never leave strange dogs loose together when I'm not there to supervise. I feed your dogs on whatever schedule they are accustomed to. Dogs must be fully vaccinated (particularly for bordatella) and must be on flea and tick treatment

“Mariia is so lovely! She is very sweet and has proven to be such a reliable and loving cat-sitter. Our kitty Lola is very shy and didn't take long to warm up to her. She is so thoughtful and brought in our packages as well, which we really appreciated. We will definitely hire her again. 😊”

“My cat and I are very thankful that we found Michaela. She was reliable and communicative while we were gone so we felt assured that Marty was under a good care! Thank you, Michaela.”

“We absolutely had the best person looking after our 2 kitties. Sarah updated us after every visit, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away on vacation. I will recommend her to every pet parent I know. Thank you so much Sarah!”

“Laura took great care of my elder cat, successfully giving him his medications when others have hesitated. She was lovely to communicate with, provided thorough updates and photos. As a previous Rover myself, I would highly recommend Laura for your pet care needs. I will be using Laura’s pet services again in the future for sure!”
About: I have always been around animals, throughout my entire life. I have dog sit and walked a variety of dogs, from Chihuahuas to American Bullies. I have a lot of energy to play with energetic dogs, and am very patient. I love to be organized and keep note of everything I need to properly take care of your pet, as well as stay attentive to keep them safe. I am currently in university, however my hours are flexible and only fall on two days. Either way we can work around with what you need and I am very lenient. I believe that different pets require different needs, and I would like to provide a comfortable and safe environment. This includes: Frequent walks and potty breaks, time to play, food and dietary needs, medication necessities, and if your animal likes affection, I would more than welcome that.

“Sofia is hands-down the best cat sitter we’ve ever had! She looked after our two cats, Tigger and Shona, and we couldn't be happier. From the very first update, it was clear she truly understands cat personalities—she managed to win over our shy one and kept our high-energy one entertained. We received regular photos and updates, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Sofia is professional, reliable, and clearly an animal lover. Tigger and Shona are already looking forward to her next visit!”

About: I have had dogs sinced 2010. Currently we have a 15 year old husky who is still quite playful outside but spends most of the day sleeping due to advanced age. We are used to frequent walks and don't mind loud singers 😁 I have Sundays and Mondays off and my husband only works part-time from home so someone is home most of the time and we are pretty flexible. I have a fenced backyard, a human- and dog-friendly Husky to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if you prefer. We have a home where they will be comfortable. We can send you pictures daily so you know your baby is safe.

I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. Im available before or after work or anytime nights, on my days off or weekends! I have a genuine love for pets (have 2 cats and a puppy myself) so I know how important it is to have peace of mind and that they are taken care of when we are away. Will try my very best

Leaving our four cats for our three week honeymoon was the part I was most worried about, but Tatyana completely exceeded our expectations and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She sent thoughtful updates and lotssss of photos and videos after every visit, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about each of our cats and took the time to get to know their different personalities. She also took amazing care of our home, and everything was spotless when we got back. Knowing our cats were happy, safe, and so well cared for meant we could fully enjoy our trip. If you’re looking for someone who’s kind, reliable, communicative, and truly loves animals, I can’t recommend Tatyana enough!! We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Tatyana again for future trips.

My experience with Laura was a wonderful introduction to Rover. It was a great sign when my cat Georgie immediately warmed up to her during our meet and greet. Laura took wonderful care of Georgie, and provided helpful and reassuring updates after each visit. I definitely hope to book Laura again the next time I have to be away.

We had a great experience with Heather! She was reliable, communicative, and took excellent care of our cats while we were away. She was very attentive to their needs and always responded to messages quickly. We especially appreciated how quickly she got to know each of our cats’ personalities and included little details about them in her updates. The regular updates and photos gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She also left everything clean and tidy. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats and would absolutely book with Heather again. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!

Sarah watched our 2 boys Rocco and Rio. And usually they are timid around people they dont know. Sarah was able to give treats and get photos. Made me look forward to her check ins knowing they were in great hands. Will definitely recommend and will be rebooking with her in the future. ♡

We’re so grateful for the wonderful care Setayesh provided for our cats while we were away. She paid extra attention to Biscuit since he had eye condition, which really gave us peace of mind. the boys were shy but she was very patient and was able to gain their trust! she helped us applying eye cream and paid extra attention to biscuit’s condition. We also really appreciated all the updates and photos throughout the visits. When we needed to add an extra visit last minute, she accepted it quickly and was super accommodating. Thank you again for taking such great care of them — we would definitely book again!

Naomi was amazing with our two cats. We went on a holiday for over two weeks, the longest we’ve ever left our girls. Naomi was reliable and communicative. She sent photos and updates every day, which help put our minds at ease. Naomi is an excellent pet sitter and we 100% recommend her and will be using her services again in the future.

Joana took such great care of our cat while we were away for a couple weeks! She communicated with us consistently and shared many pictures which was much appreciated. Our cat is very shy so we were impressed with how quickly he warmed up to her which is a testament to how amazing the experience was. On top of everything, Joana kept the area free of litter which was a big plus when we came back. We can’t recommend Joana enough and will certainly book with her again next time we are away ☺️ thank you Joana!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Etobicoke stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Etobicoke choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
