I am a lifelong animal lover and pet parent. I have lived with/cared for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, chickens, and snakes! I have experience caring for senior pets, special needs pets, wildlife rescues, and administering medications (including injections). I am certified in Animal First Aid & CPR through St. John's Ambulance. I am conveniently located only minutes from Pearson Airport, making drop-off and pick-up a breeze!

Naomi gave us daily updates that we greatly appreciated. We could tell from the many photos she shared with us that our dog had a blast with her. We also liked that our dog had the chance to play with her dog throughout his stay, which was extra fun for him. We felt confident from speaking with her before our trip and throughout our dog’s stay with her that she genuinely loves caring for pets. We look forward to booking with Naomi again.

Naomi was amazing with our two cats. We went on a holiday for over two weeks, the longest we’ve ever left our girls. Naomi was reliable and communicative. From our meet and greet with Naomi, we could tell how loving she is to all animals. Naomi is one of a kind!!!! She has the biggest heart and our kitties warmed up to her right away. She was so patient with our little 2 yr old Luna and they became beat friends within a few days. Naomi’s patience with our older kitty Reese, who is 18 1/2 years old was sooo sweet. We loved all the pictures and videos she sent of Luna and Reese. Naomi went above and beyond our exceptions of care and made sure that both of them were loved well we were away. Knowing that they were being loved and taken care of helped to make our vacation more relaxed.

Schedule
I am a full-time pet care professional. I'm always available 9am-5pm weekdays and can take overnight stays any day of the week or weekend. I only host pets from one pet parent at a time so please check availability before booking.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a car for transport and use a pet safety seatbelt in my back seat. There's a huge partially fenced field next to my apartment building for bathroom breaks and fetch, as well as a nice dog park nearby. I have gates, potty training materials, mobility equipment, a medium crate, and of course treats! I also have lots of comfy cushions and blankets to lounge on. All animals are welcome on my couch for cuddles! :) Pets in my home are rarely left alone and are always secured in a gated area of my house while I'm gone. I take safety very seriously! FOR POCKET PETS/EXOTICS: I am capable and comfortable in handling most animals so please reach out to discuss! Note that contained animals are charged per enclosure NOT per animal! Let me know what type of animals you have and we can discuss how you'd like them transported and housed. (I previously owned rats so I have a 2 storey Critter Nation cage.) I have lots of safe barriers as well to allow for your pet to free roam.
Pets
A typical day
We take two walks daily, in the mornings and evenings. There is also a huge field next to my building where we can play fetch! Animals will likely never be left alone as my partner works from home, but potty breaks may only be available every 4-6 hours. I love cuddling on the couch and playing mental stimulation games with treat puzzles. I enjoy behavioural training, so let me know if there is anything you'd like me to work on while your pet is with me. I will also provide daily updates with photos/videos so you can rest assured your pet is well cared for.
