I am currently available for drop-ins or dog walks almost any weekday after 11:00am, and almost any time on weekends. I am available for house sitting most weekends (Fri - Sun). I am not available for boarding at this time.

I can't wait to give your dogs enriching walks and fun play time! I will respect your home and keep it exactly the way you left it. I will do my best to ensure your dogs are as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away, and would not hesitate to take them to the vet if necessary.

Please let me know as many details as possible about your dog so that I know what to expect and will know how to best care for them. I'm very flexible and adaptable but it's always better to be prepared in new situations! The more I know about their personality, needs, likes/ dislikes, and behaviours, the more I can become their second best friend!
A typical day
I would discuss with you ahead of time what your dog's needs are, and we could make a plan together of how I can best support your dog! If they have high energy, I would love to take them to the park (regular park and/or off-leash dog park), go for a walk, or play with them in your home/backyard. If you have any enriching games or activities, I would love to do those with them as well! Perhaps I could try to teach them a cool new trick (with your consent of course)! If you have a more sedentary dog, I would take them for walks in the neighbourhood at their pace. I do have a stroller for dogs under 30 lbs that I could use if needed. ALL dogs will get as many snuggles and cuddles as they want!

Your pet's safety and happiness are my top priority! I will treat all animals as if they are my own and provide them with the love and care they deserve. I have had a passion for animals my entire life! I currently regularly volunteer for a dog rescue, and I will always help an animal in need. I have a 2 year old husky/great pyrenees mix, and he is my absolute world. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs ranging from puppies to seniors with special needs (in my home, the pet parent's home, and at a doggy daycare/boarding facility). I am knowledgeable about pet first aid, giving medication, special diets, nail trims, bathing, training, body language, paying close attention to unusual behaviours and being quick to react in situations that require intervention or medical attention.

This is the second time we’ve used Cris to dog sit. She was very good with our elderly dog, took great care of him, helped him up and down the stairs, and she had great communication with lots of videos/pictures. Highly recommend, would use her services again.
Treated my Jagger with love and care while I was away. LOVE HER!! My Jagger being the little anxious guy he is - was more calm every in between I was able to be home.
Cris was a great sitter! Sent lots of photos and updates. My dog was very happy and would highly recommend Cris to others!
Cris is amazing! Such a kind and caring person. She looked after my Buffy like her own. She took her for walk that I know Buffy enjoyed. Cris was so careful with her when I mentioned her injury and stitches. This would make it more challenging since she is a very playful and crazy puppy. Buffy was not allowed to run or jump around so Cris walked her and kept her calm by playing low key games inside. She was excellent. I most definitely will call on her again.
