For years I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all personalities: seniors who need gentle pacing, anxious pups who require patience and grounding, energetic puppies, independent kitties, and everything in between. What matters most to me is that your pet feels safe, seen, and loved while you’re away. I move at their pace, honour their routines, and offer calm, grounded presence, enrichment, cuddles, and clear communication every step of the way. You’ll receive thoughtful updates, photos, and honest notes so you always know how your fur baby is doing. I provide a premium, detail-oriented level of service — the kind where your pet is never rushed, never overlooked, and always cared for with intention and heart. Every animal gets the attention they truly deserve. Safety, trust & environment
When caring for your pet I will follow their regular schedule for feeding and walks as closely as possible. For drop in visits I will stay for the duration of the visit (30 or 60 mins) and offer playtime and interaction based on your pets needs. At all times I am vigilant about your pet’s safety and security.

Melissa is the best cat sitter she spoils our cat and gives her the affection she needs.
Melissa has checked in on our cat multiple times and would highly recommend! She always sends detailed updates about her check in, and tries to comfort my cat even if he’s being shy. It’s great knowing if we’re away for a weekend we know he’ll be looked after.
We had Melissa stay with our sweet Sebby boy again and she did such an amazing job for the 10 days we were gone! We’ll for sure continue to book her!!

Melissa was AMAZING! We just moved to the Toronto area 3 months ago and this was the first we’ve left our pup, Sebby, since we moved. He’s a pretty shy introvert, which comes out in a vocal manner when he meets new people. Melissa was very patient and came to get to know Sebby a few times before we left. She stayed with him for 9 days and shared photos of updates of him continuing to open up to her and her pup Kahlo! She was a great communicator and made sure Sebby had a blast, plus was great with his meds! We will for sure be rebooking!

Providing care to your pets is my passion and profession. If I can accommodate a request I will make it my priority to provide the service you require. If I am unable to, I will let you know as soon as possible so you can find an alternate care provider.

- Tell me your pets personality, preferences, likes and dislikes. Each pet is as unique as people are from one another! I want to win your pet's heart by offering their favourite toy, treat, game or activity. If your pet has any behaviours of concern please let me know ahead of time. I want to know how best to redirect and reinforce appropriate behaviour when handling your pet. I’m here to support you and provide continuity for your pet. The more I know about your beloved four legged family member the more fun we will have.
