When caring for your pet I will follow their regular schedule for feeding and walks as closely as possible. For drop in visits I will stay for the duration of the visit (30 or 60 mins) and offer playtime and interaction based on your pets needs. At all times I am vigilant about your pet’s safety and security.

Tell me your pets personality, preferences, likes and dislikes. Each pet is as unique as people are from one another! I want to win your pet's heart by offering their favourite toy, treat, game or activity. If your pet has any behaviours of concern please let me know ahead of time. I want to know how best to redirect and reinforce appropriate behaviour when handling your pet. I’m here to support you and provide continuity for your pet. The more I know about your beloved four legged family member the more fun we will have.
A typical day
Walks are the best ever! We can sniff the streets and follow a scent trail all the way to an off leash park if that's your dogs thing. We can toss a ball and play fetch, look for our friends at the local park or just take a liesurely stroll and enjoy the sights. If your cat enjoys lots of attention, or just a little, or really none at all (cats! Amiright?) I will respect their space. I enjoy a chatty conversation, giving kitties their favourite treats, providing head scratches and snuggles-if that’s their jam. We can even bust out the catnip and laser pointer to really get the party started.

Melissa was AMAZING! We just moved to the Toronto area 3 months ago and this was the first we’ve left our pup, Sebby, since we moved. He’s a pretty shy introvert, which comes out in a vocal manner when he meets new people. Melissa was very patient and came to get to know Sebby a few times before we left. She stayed with him for 9 days and shared photos of updates of him continuing to open up to her and her pup Kahlo! She was a great communicator and made sure Sebby had a blast, plus was great with his meds! We will for sure be rebooking!
I had a wonderful experience with Melissa while she cared for my cat, Marvin, and looked after my home. She was incredibly kind, professional, and extremely attentive to every detail. Melissa took exceptional care of our two cats. One cat is young, bold and sassy. The other cat is old and shy, with a medical issue that required wound care, which Melissa managed perfectly. Melissa took the time to coax our shy guy out from under the bed, which can be a challenge. We received photos with updates, which gave us peace of mind. We had a lovely time away because we had complete confidence in Melissa's care of our cats. We look forward to working with Melissa again.
