I was born into a family with a 1yr old labrador retriever, Ketchup. I worshipped her as my first bff and she tolerated me. I've had pet dogs all my life (and a brief interlude with cats too!). After Ketchup, we got a springer spaniel, Hazel, and then rescued a golden retriever, Duke. And most recently, 3 huskies - probably not the most intelligent move but wouldn't have it any other way - Zane, Bella, Enzo. So, really, I'm comfortable with all types of dogs and doggie personalities. My partner and I enjoy long walks and would love to take your doggo to the park with us. And I love couch-potating too, so the doggo will get lots of cuddles and play at home. I probably won't learn your name, but I'll know and love every silly quirk your pet has. :)

Malaika was exceptional in taking care of my dog. She is great in communication and giving updates. I highly recommend her.
Malaika gave our pup attentive care. In addition to sending photos and updates, she also asked a question when something unexpected happened. Our dog is very reactive to other dogs and overly friendly to people, especially children. This can make riding an elevator a challenge. This wasn't an issue because Malaika's apartment is on the ground floor with a patio. Don't let the fact that Malaika isn't in a house stop you from booking her. Your dog will come home happy and tired.
Malaika was great with Winston. He seemed to have a fun time and was very relaxed with her! She had great communication and was super supportive to Winston’s needs.

Schedule
I live a fairly active lifestyle and WFH. My neighbourhood has a lot of green space and trails to get some exercise in & apartment has a fenced patio if the doggo would prefer lazing around and sunning themselves. That aside - scritches aplenty!

I live on the ground floor of an animal-friendly building. My patio is fenced - and your doggo won't be let out without supervision of course. Your doggo will have their own space in the house to get comfy in, with plenty of scritches :) I have no pets of my own, so they will rule the day. Happy to reinforce any training or play/treat schedule you have for your pet. And I'd love to send you photos and updates through the day so you know youre doggo is happy and safe.
A typical day
Different types of play depending on the dog breed and personality. Happy to make puzzle boxes and treat search around the apartment if your dog likes those. If your pet doesn't like too much activity, they can laze around the house, or enjoy the fenced patio.
