About: I provide calm, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs, with experience in owning cats, dogs and birds throughout my life. I currently have a rescued Croatian Sheepdog named Cassie. Cassie was rescued from an abusive environment when she was 2 so I have experience in calming and caring for anxious rescue dogs. I’ve had Cassie for almost 6 years now and it’s been incredible watching her become confident and truly just being a dog. I’m a professional soccer player taking a break for 5-6 months to spend time with my family in Toronto so I have nothing but free time in these coming months to care for animals. Right now I’m staying at my mom’s house in the inner suburbs of Toronto with a fenced backyard and park across the street for a perfect environment for walking dogs.
“Monika is excellent with my new puppy. She is more knowledgeable about puppy training than I am and is working with Riley on all sorts of behaviours and commands. She is caring and reliable and I highly recommend her.”

About: Our family owned 3 dogs. We had also 2 hamsters and aquarium with fishes. Sometimes our friends left their pets with us. We love pets and know how to take care of them. I plan my schedule around walks, feeding, and quality time, so pets get plenty of attention and are never left alone for long. I’m flexible and can adjust to your pet’s usual routine to keep things consistent. I make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for—whether in my home or yours. I stick to their usual routine and follow any instructions you leave. I keep a close eye on them and always prioritize safety. You’ll also get updates and photos so you know how they’re doing.
About: With over 4 years of dedicated experience, I specialize in the unique needs of small and medium breeds (under 40 Ibs). I understand that "little" doesn't mean "low energy"— whether it's a spirited Frenchie or a sensitive Maltese, I provide a calm, controlled environment where your pup can feel secure without the stress of larger, more boisterous dogs. My day is built around high-attention care. We start with fresh water, breakfast, and a gentle walk or backyard playtime to get those little legs moving. Throughout the day, I incorporate frequent potty breaks and short play sessions to keep energy levels balanced. Evenings are all about wind-down time and plenty of cuddles, mimicking the cozy home routine your pet is already used to. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their "home away from home." I maintain a strictly small-dog-friendly environment, prioritizing safety by keeping floors clear and exits secure. Your pup will enjoy supervised play and cozy rest areas without the chaos of a crowded kennel. For sittings in your home, my priority is minimizing stress by sticking to your pet's established habits. I follow your specific feeding schedules, walking routes, and "potty" cues to keep their day predictable. I also provide detailed home security-bringing in mail and watering plants-so you can travel with total peace of mind.
About: I have over 4 years of hands-on experience caring for pets and a genuine love for animals, especially cats. I provide a calm, safe, and clean environment where cats can feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m experienced with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, playtime, and giving each cat the attention they need based on their personality. Whether your cat is playful or shy, I’m patient and attentive to make sure they feel secure and cared for at all times. I specialize in cat care and understand how important routine and a low-stress environment are for them. My home is quiet and ideal for cats who prefer a peaceful space. I make sure each cat has their own comfortable area, clean litter, fresh food and water, and daily interaction. I’m attentive to behavior changes and can follow any specific instructions you provide, including dietary needs or medication if required. Your cat will be treated with love, patience, and respect—just like my own. I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home, which allows me to give your cat consistent care and attention throughout the day. I can accommodate different routines and make sure your cat is never left alone for long periods.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been professionally walking them since I was 14. I also have been working at a doggy daycare which includes responsibility such as dog walking, dog boarding, and dog training. I have experience with dogs as big as Great Danes to as small as Pomeranian's. I currently work part time as a daycare attendant/dog walker at a doggy daycare! Most of my days are short and involve early morning so there is no worry of your pet being left alone! I have a small yard with turf and an 8 foot fence so no dogs will be able to jump over. My house is very minimalistic and clean so there is never any worry of your dog getting into any trash or bumping into anything that may hurt him/her.
About: I have had dogs sinced 2010. Currently we have a 15 year old husky who is still quite playful outside but spends most of the day sleeping due to advanced age. We are used to frequent walks and don't mind loud singers 😁 I have Sundays and Mondays off and my husband only works part-time from home so someone is home most of the time and we are pretty flexible. I have a fenced backyard, a human- and dog-friendly Husky to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if you prefer. We have a home where they will be comfortable. We can send you pictures daily so you know your baby is safe.

As I live in an Apartment I will not be providing care in my home, I also have a cat with FIV and cannot bring any new pets around as a safety precaution. I am available to provide care in clients home as directed.

I look forward meeting you and your fur kids to discuss their unique needs as well as our time together.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Etobicoke
It was my first night out - Pepper was in the best hands. Melissa was happy to do a meet and greet first, and tonight she was on time, a good communicator, and even took some pictures. I would not hesitate to have her care for Pepper in a second. Thank you Melissa! I was able to enjoy my rare night out because of you!

Rosalia was a fantastic pet sitter for our dear eldery dog Ella! She was prompt, took great care of her and provided lots of great photos and updates during the visits. Rosalia is a very caring and compassionate person and Ella loves her. We are so pleased to have found Rosalia and will book her again.

Jose did an excellent job! Jose helped out with Drop In visits with my geriatric Bichon while I was out of the country for a week. My pup was walked, fed and tended to plus little accidents cleaned up. In addition, Jose kept a log book going for me to refer to when I got home detailing my Pup's behaviour, eating habits and movements with each visit. My access to wifi and cell were limited so the log book really helped out when I returned home. I have a record of how my Pup was doing with each visit. Jose also kept in touch throughout the day with my BF that was in charge of my Pup. This was a real challenge for all of us including my Pup since everything was a new experience and everything worked out really well! I highly recommend Jose to look after your Fur Friend.
I had a wonderful experience with Czarina! She was amazing with my pup and it was clear right away that he felt very comfortable with her. She was very communicative, kept me updated, and made sure he got a nice midday break while I was away at work. It gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
