I will gladly be in the backyard with the dogs to ensure they don’t escape through any sort of openings in fences
“Nikki was great with our cats, even our shy one got close to her and allowed a good few belly rubs which should tell you all you need to know. Nikki was very attentive taking care of their needs and playing with them to help them spend some energy. I highly reccommend her and will use her services again.”

“Chrissy was a great caregiver to our kitty and we loved her updates and photos/video clips. We recommend her for your pet sitting needs and will definitely use Chrissy services in the future.”

“Was wonderful working with Jennifer to care for our Gizmo while we were away. She is very responsive, flexible and takes great care during the drop ins. Looking forward to rebooking again!”

About: I'm happy to have your dog join mine, Lennon. We are big walkers (you may have seen us along the Humber), so send me your high-energy dog. I also work at home, so I'll be in constant contact with your Best Pawed Friend. I'm self-employed, so I have lots of flexibility. I'm part of a family of four, so there are lots of experienced people for your dog to play with. Generally, I rely on lots of exercise to keep dogs calm. Aside from that, I've had lots of visiting foster dogs, so I've met many different types of dog personalities.
About: I’ve cared for my cousin’s dog several times, including overnight stays. I’m outgoing, attentive, and genuinely love caring for pets, always prioritizing their happiness, comfort, safety, and overall well-being. I’m currently in school and usually finish in the afternoon, which gives me plenty of time to focus on pet care. I also work part-time at Tim Hortons, allowing flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I live in an apartment and keep my home clean, safe, and pet-friendly, making sure pets are always away from anything risky. I also have a nearby park and a quiet, nice neighborhood, perfect for regular walks, playtime, and exercise to keep pets happy and comfortable.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love and understanding of dogs. I have a dog of my own named Leo, a Pomsky, who I’ve had since he was 8 weeks old. Raising him has taught me so much about patience, training, routine, and making sure dogs feel safe and happy. Getting Leo was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and he truly feels like family. Because of this experience, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I treat every dog I walk or sit as if they were my own—with lots of attention, care, and love. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs that need longer walks as well as dogs who prefer a slower, relaxed pace. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels comfortable, exercised, and happy while giving you peace of mind. I currently work full time, but I’m available after 6:00 PM for part-time dog walks and pet visits. Pet care fits nicely into my evening routine, and I truly enjoy spending time with dogs. Please feel free to request specific days, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule. When caring for pets, my priority is always their safety, comfort, and routine. I make sure to follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routes, and any special care the dog may need. During walks, I keep dogs on a secure leash and stay aware of our surroundings to make sure they are safe and comfortable.
“Angelika has been wonderful with Zoey. This was our first time working with her, and she made the whole experience feel easy and reassuring from the start. Zoey came home happy, which means everything to us. We’re so grateful for the care and attention Angelika gave her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind and reliable to care for their dog.”

“Rebecca was professional and took care of my dog and cat. Both are somewhat senior. They were accidents but she cleaned up the accidents the best she could. I already booked her for my next leave. She's fair with her pricing as well.”

“Absolutely LOVED Donna!! Our boy is a very shy rescue and she really let him take his time with her. She was fantastic with daily updates to assure me that our boy was okay. Donna was super nice, had great communication and I'm absolutely booking her again for our trip next month. Highly recommend her as she was fantastic!!!”

“Not only does Sarah make sure that Mulan’s basic needs are met, she also loves and cares for her. She knows when Mu is up for pets and scratchies and when she isn’t. I always feel so safe leaving Mu in Sarah’s care!”

About: I am honoured to have been trusted with the care and custodianship of cherished pets, furry, scaly, and slimey, since I was a young child, which has given me invaluable experience and skill. Whether you need occasional help with walks, feeding, or sitting while you are away, I'm your gal! I've also got lots of exotic pet experience (I have three bunnies myself, and many aquaria) as well as experience caring for diverse houseplants and gardens. I pride myself in meeting the needs of even the most specialized critters, big or small, and look forward to providing the best experience for your pets, especially those that need a little extra love. I will make my schedule work with yours and look forward to talking soon! I am a mechanical engineering student, so my schedule is very flexible. I walk, cycle, and TTC, so no need for parking! I love having the opportunity to integrate furry friends into my routine. I am a seasoned carer for my three buns (dusty, soup, and drosophila), gerbil (miso), leopard gecko (artemis), and have had many hamsters. I maintain several freshwater aquaria with my partner, and have TONS of plants. I will follow your specifications and requests to a tee, and can be contacted on my cell whenever you need. I am also seasoned in housekeeping, should that be a plus!
“We met her first time in December before our holiday trip. Jemima came for a meet & greet, our cat immediately liked her and she also is a very nice person. During our trip she gave us daily updates, pictures and information. I also booked her for past weekend on a short notice because of her great service and she helped me out. If you are looking for a pet sitter, you cannot go wrong with Jemima, she is great. Thank you Jemima, I know who to reach when I am in need.”

About: Hi! I’m Camila, a Uruguayan-Canadian living in Toronto. I love being outdoors, walking, camping, and enjoying nature, and I’ve always enjoyed caring for the pets of my family and friends. Since I can’t have pets where I live, dog walking is a meaningful way for me to spend time with animals while helping local families. I look forward to meeting you and your dog, and taking your pup on relaxed walks full of fresh air, care, and attention ☺️ Due to my weekday job, I can care for pets after 5 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I would be happy to walk, play with, and provide loving care for your pets ☺️ I love spending time outdoors and caring for animals. I enjoy walking dogs in the fresh air and spending calm, gentle time with cats at their home. I provide a safe, trusted environment while respecting each pet’s personality, making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved

It was my first night out - Pepper was in the best hands. Melissa was happy to do a meet and greet first, and tonight she was on time, a good communicator, and even took some pictures. I would not hesitate to have her care for Pepper in a second. Thank you Melissa! I was able to enjoy my rare night out because of you!

Rosalia was a fantastic pet sitter for our dear eldery dog Ella! She was prompt, took great care of her and provided lots of great photos and updates during the visits. Rosalia is a very caring and compassionate person and Ella loves her. We are so pleased to have found Rosalia and will book her again.

Jose did an excellent job! Jose helped out with Drop In visits with my geriatric Bichon while I was out of the country for a week. My pup was walked, fed and tended to plus little accidents cleaned up. In addition, Jose kept a log book going for me to refer to when I got home detailing my Pup's behaviour, eating habits and movements with each visit. My access to wifi and cell were limited so the log book really helped out when I returned home. I have a record of how my Pup was doing with each visit. Jose also kept in touch throughout the day with my BF that was in charge of my Pup. This was a real challenge for all of us including my Pup since everything was a new experience and everything worked out really well! I highly recommend Jose to look after your Fur Friend.
I had a wonderful experience with Czarina! She was amazing with my pup and it was clear right away that he felt very comfortable with her. She was very communicative, kept me updated, and made sure he got a nice midday break while I was away at work. It gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
