“This was the second time Vaishnavi took care of our cat, and once again she did an amazing job! She did regular drop-in visits for 3 weeks while we were away, following all our instructions carefully and providing detailed updates after each visit. She also accommodated our requests for additional visits when needed. We felt confident and relieved knowing our cat was in such good hands. We’ll definitely be using her services again!”

“Shawn took amazing care if our sweet Ollie. She sent many photos of Ollie and lots of updates on the things and places they went. We could tell Ollie was well looked after with Shawn and felt comfortable leaving him in her care. We will definitely be reaching out to her again the next week have to leave Ollie home.”
“Chrissy was a great caregiver to our kitty and we loved her updates and photos/video clips. We recommend her for your pet sitting needs and will definitely use Chrissy services in the future.”

About: I’ve been a pet sitter with Rover for 1 year. During that time, I have had the pleasure to care for over 50+ pets. I have been through extensive dog training with my previous pets, and I have mastered quite a few techniques. I have experience with aggressive dogs - having had one myself, and I confident in my abilities to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your pet. My previous clients will attest that the care I provide for their pets is exceptional. I am friendly, reliable, and I take the well being of your pet very seriously. I work from home full time, Monday to Friday. I live in a very dog friendly neighbourhood, so caring for your pet will be seamless. I will always prioritized the pet’s care over my own social and personal schedule, when I am looking after them. I will follow any and all instructions that you may have for your pet. This includes keeping them on leash, not letting them outside while unsupervised, and/or at all if they are an indoor cat, sticking to whatever feeding schedule you have, and providing any medication that they might need. I have done extensive dog training in the past as I had an aggressive dog, he was a rescue, and so I really know my way around proper dog etiquette. I provide daily updates/checkins to help put your mind at ease.

About: I have had dogs sinced 2010. Currently we have a 15 year old husky who is still quite playful outside but spends most of the day sleeping due to advanced age. We are used to frequent walks and don't mind loud singers 😁 I have Sundays and Mondays off and my husband only works part-time from home so someone is home most of the time and we are pretty flexible. I have a fenced backyard, a human- and dog-friendly Husky to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if you prefer. We have a home where they will be comfortable. We can send you pictures daily so you know your baby is safe.
About: With over 20 years of experience in animal care and welfare, I am passionate about providing the best care for your furry loved ones. As an animal welfare activist and dog rescuer, I have rescued and placed over 100 abused dogs and cats with trustworthy adoption families. I have also presented TV shows that raise awareness about stray/domestic dogs and cats and fight to end dog fights. I am proud to have been the first citizen/female in Jordan to file a lawsuit against a vet who was conducting animal testing and smuggling illegally exotic animals into inappropriate environments for breeding and trading. Additionally, I initiated a program called “Rahma” Mercy in English to teach children to be merciful towards stray dogs and cats, addressing cultural misconceptions. Giving back remains at the core of my work. A portion of every booking is donated to help abused and injured dogs in Jordan, helping fund life-saving surgeries and critical medical care. By trusting me with your beloved pet, you are also helping vulnerable animals receive a second chance at life. My home is a welcoming and loving environment for your pets, complete with a furry companion for your dog and a fenced dog park with plenty of room to play and run. Your pet will be fed only the freshest boiled lean beef, pork, chicken or turkey breast, and will be allowed to relax on the bed or sofa with plenty of cuddles and belly rubs. I take hygiene seriously, and my home is smoke, dust, residue and scent-free, using only high-quality venting filters. Your dog will also receive 3 to 5 daily walks, ranging from one to two hours, as well as daily brushing, washing after each walk, and bath if required. My husband and I work from home, allowing us to provide plenty of playtime and attention for your furry angels. Our schedule is flexible and always available to cater to your pet's needs. We are committed to the safety and security of your pets, both indoors and outdoors, and are happy to provide a crate if needed Our furry guests can enjoy a spacious park and a dog-fenced area where they can stretch their legs, play, and socialize with other dogs. At our home, safety and security are our top priority, both inside and outside, to ensure your dog feels comfortable and protected at all times.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been professionally walking them since I was 14. I also have been working at a doggy daycare which includes responsibility such as dog walking, dog boarding, and dog training. I have experience with dogs as big as Great Danes to as small as Pomeranian's. I currently work part time as a daycare attendant/dog walker at a doggy daycare! Most of my days are short and involve early morning so there is no worry of your pet being left alone! I have a small yard with turf and an 8 foot fence so no dogs will be able to jump over. My house is very minimalistic and clean so there is never any worry of your dog getting into any trash or bumping into anything that may hurt him/her.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Etobicoke
Rosalia was a fantastic pet sitter for our dear eldery dog Ella! She was prompt, took great care of her and provided lots of great photos and updates during the visits. Rosalia is a very caring and compassionate person and Ella loves her. We are so pleased to have found Rosalia and will book her again.

Jose did an excellent job! Jose helped out with Drop In visits with my geriatric Bichon while I was out of the country for a week. My pup was walked, fed and tended to plus little accidents cleaned up. In addition, Jose kept a log book going for me to refer to when I got home detailing my Pup's behaviour, eating habits and movements with each visit. My access to wifi and cell were limited so the log book really helped out when I returned home. I have a record of how my Pup was doing with each visit. Jose also kept in touch throughout the day with my BF that was in charge of my Pup. This was a real challenge for all of us including my Pup since everything was a new experience and everything worked out really well! I highly recommend Jose to look after your Fur Friend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
