About: I am honoured to have been trusted with the care and custodianship of cherished pets, furry, scaly, and slimey, since I was a young child, which has given me invaluable experience and skill. Whether you need occasional help with walks, feeding, or sitting while you are away, I'm your gal! I've also got lots of exotic pet experience (I have three bunnies myself, and many aquaria) as well as experience caring for diverse houseplants and gardens. I pride myself in meeting the needs of even the most specialized critters, big or small, and look forward to providing the best experience for your pets, especially those that need a little extra love. About: Hi there! We are so happy to get to know your fur babies. We have been surrounded by animals our whole life, and have had over 10 years of taking care of pets of all sizes, breeds, and ages. Your can expect the utmost TLC from us! It is all about what they need - whether it's lounging, cuddling, roughhousing, or just some space. We are doting pet parents at heart. We only host 1 pet a time, and only host multiple if they're from the same household, so rest assured your furry friends will get exclusive care and attention, especially those who may need a bit more time and space to settle in. In your pet's best interest, we cannot accept pets that have not been potty trained or those with special medical or psychological needs. We love senior pets though! We both work from home, so we are able to provide round-the-clock care and attention during weekdays. On weeknights and weekends, there is usually at least 1 of us at home, but in cases when we're both away, we're not usually gone for more than 4 hours at a time. We live in a detached house with a fairly large fenced backyard, which your dog will be welcome to explore, so privacy, safety and space isn't an issue. There's no off-limits space in the house, except our bed.

I have daily experience and a deep understanding of their needs for appropriate space from triggers, positive reinforcement exercises, and decompression activities. Well firstly I would make sure to properly introduce myself by being soft and kind speaking in a gentle tone. Then make your pet feel safe by creating a bed or sitting on the floor around them so they get used to me and my sent. Treats also help so I would make sure to give treats and a lot of encouragement and toys being playful, gentle and not invasive. Each dog is different and I’m very good at adapting to any situation.
