About: I've been boarding dogs in my home for over a year, welcoming everything from gentle giants like Samoyeds, Alaskan Malamutes, Huskies, and Cane Corsos to sweet little Shih Tzus, Malteses, and Miniature Poodles. Big or small, every dog gets the same warmth, attention, and care — my home is their home. I also have experience with cat drop-in visits, stopping by to feed, play, and tidy up so your cat stays happy and comfortable in their own familiar space. What sets me apart is that I genuinely love all kinds of animals and take the time to learn each pet's personality and routine. You can count on me to treat your furry family member like my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine as a university student who studies from home. Most days I'm around the house, which means your pet always has company and attention throughout the day. My only full days away are Tuesdays and Fridays, when I have on-campus lectures from around 8 AM to 6 PM, but the house is never left empty. My household members are experienced with pets and are always home to ensure your furry friend is looked after, comfortable, and never alone. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have morning lectures, so I'm back home around 3 PM. Thursdays and weekends I'm completely free and fully available. My home is a safe, spacious, and welcoming environment for pets of all sizes. We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can run, explore, and burn off energy with peace of mind. I also share my home with a friendly cat, when boarding larger dogs she's completely comfortable keeping to herself upstairs, so there's no stress for either animal. Most importantly, I believe every pet thrives best when their routine stays as close to normal as possible. I'm happy to follow your feeding schedule, walking habits, house rules, or any other preferences you have. Whatever helps your pet feel at home.

I always respect each pet’s pace and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, litter care, or just quiet companionship, I adapt to what your pet needs. About: 🐾 Animal Experience I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for animals, including dogs and cats. In my home country, I was actively involved in rescuing and caring for animals in need, helping them recover, rehabilitate, and find safety and comfort again. Through this experience, I have learned how to handle animals with different temperaments, ages, and emotional needs, from shy and anxious pets to very active and social ones. I developed a strong sense of patience, observation, and calm energy when working with animals. This long-term experience has given me the ability to quickly understand each pet’s behavior and respond in a way that makes them feel safe, respected, and cared for. As I am home full-time, I can adapt my daily routine to each dog's individual needs, providing constant companionship, supervision, and personalized care throughout their stay. Mornings: We start the day with a safe, supervised walk around the neighborhood, followed by breakfast and some time to settle in comfortably. During the day: I stay home throughout the day, so dogs are never left alone for long periods. They enjoy supervised playtime in our fully fenced private backyard, along with plenty of indoor companionship, relaxation, and personalized attention. I always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for according to their usual routine. Afternoons and evenings: We go for a second walk to help them burn energy and maintain a balanced routine. Afterward, they can relax and enjoy family time indoors. I also send daily photo and video updates so owners can stay connected and have peace of mind while they are away. My Home & Care Policy To provide a safe, calm, and stress-free environment, I only accept dogs. My home features a fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time under supervision. We are a quiet, family-oriented household with a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment. My husband is a veterinarian, which reflects our family's love and respect for animals; however, I am the primary caregiver and personally responsible for the daily care and attention of every dog in my home. My goal is for every guest to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and truly at home during their stay. 🐾❤️ 🐾 Safety, Trust & Environment The safety and well-being of every pet is my top priority. I provide a calm, structured, and closely supervised environment where pets are never left unattended and always feel protected and cared for. Trust is built through consistency, patience, and attention to detail. I take the time to understand each pet’s needs, routines, and comfort levels so they feel secure and relaxed during their stay. I also offer a clean, smoke-free, and environmentally friendly home with access to a private fenced green yard and nearby parks. This allows pets to enjoy fresh air, nature, and safe outdoor stimulation in a controlled and responsible way. My goal is to create a peaceful balance between safety, trust, and a healthy environment where pets can feel at home, calm, and happy.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, from childhood to getting my own Husky at 19. Growing up with different breeds taught me how to provide the right care for each dog's unique needs. Whether it’s exercise, training, or just quality time, I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and energy levels. I know how important it is to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe, and I’m committed to treating them like family. Pet care fits easily into my routine. On weekdays, I work remotely some days, so I have flexibility during the day to take care of your pet if needed. I'm usually available after 5 PM for walks, playtime, or any other care. Since my job is Monday to Friday, I have plenty of free time on weekends, so I’m also available for extended care or weekend walks. Whether it’s during the day or evening, I can accommodate your pet's needs with ease! I provide care based on what each pet needs. I’m used to having pets around, so they’ll feel right at home. If I’m looking after your pet in your home, I stick to their routine, whether it’s feeding, walks, or just some quality time. I make sure to follow any special instructions you provide so your pet feels loved and cared for, just like they would with you.

In addition, I’m currently completing a Dog Trainer Certificate at Canine Academy in Guelph, further strengthening my knowledge of canine body language, positive reinforcement, and behavior. My experience includes supervising group play, administering meals and medications, monitoring behavior, providing basic grooming, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while meeting each dog’s individual needs. My training allows me to confidently work with nervous, energetic, and reactive dogs, using patience, guidance, and positive reinforcement to help them feel safe and succeed. Pet safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I communicate clearly with owners, carefully follow all care instructions, and provide regular updates for peace of mind. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is already a regular part of my routine. I currently walk dogs for existing clients and am continuing my dog training education to better understand and care for different dogs’ needs. About: I specialize in caring for friendly, calm, and well-mannered dogs in a quiet home environment and beautiful, low traffic neighborhoods. We don’t have pet and your pet will be the ONLY VIP guest in my home. No stress from other dogs, 100% focused attention. My approach is built on reliability and structure: • Routine Consistency: We strictly follow your feeding schedules, and potty breaks to minimize anxiety and house training accidents. • Safety First: Walks are always leash-secure and planned around quieter, low-traffic routes in our immediate neighborhood. My priority is preventing incidents, not reacting to them. • Clear Communication: You will receive detailed photo and written updates daily, covering their mood, appetite, and activity level. I’m a part-time graduate student. So I’m home most of the time. I also have a car and can drive to places needed. Here are the key blocks: • Mornings (7-1 PM): Structured walk, meal prep, and supervised rest during my focus work/study hours. • Afternoons (1-5 PM): Potty breaks, and active companionship from my partner and me. • Evenings (5 PM On): Dinner, a longer structured walk, and quiet wind-down time before bed. In short: Your dog receives attentive care. Consistency and safety are our priorities. Me and my partner live in a house without pets. Unlike sitters who manage multiple dogs from different homes, I limit bookings to one family's pet at a time, ensuring 100% focused attention and minimizing external unsafe factors. Although I have a fenced backyard, for maximum safety and security, I do NOT leave dogs unsupervised in the backyard. All outdoor time consists of active, leashed walks in our beautiful, quiet neighborhood. This ensures zero risk of escape and keeps your pup clean and safe.
“Wing was so nice to work with from the very beginning to the end! I am so glad I had her help. She came to visit the cats to get to know them and their environment and answer my questions about the care process before the care period started. Each day she came on time and interacted with my cats and went through all the necessary steps of care. My cats felt comfortable and relaxed with her. She also kept me informed on the cats and took pictures and videos everyday to send me, which gave me peace of mind. I was concerned about my cats sneaking out the door and communicated it with her before the booking. She was experienced and made sure that did not happen. I came back to healthy happy cats. That’s all that matters. I would definitely hire her again and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for attentive care for their pets!”

“Charlotte helped us sit our two cats multiple times when we were away. Since we left in a hurry, I had to leave a note of what I needed help with. Charlotte did everything and kept me updated on the cats and when food ran low. Overall she's reliable and responsible. When I need a cat sitter, I'll ask Charlotte for help again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Markham
Maria is a kind, compassionate, reliable, and very trustworthy individual. She absolutely loves animals, and I can't recommend her enough. As a first time dog/ puppy owner that works full time, it was vital for me to find someone I trusted enough to come into my home when I am not there, and follow my instructions for how to properly care for him. Not only does my puppy love Maria, but she treats my home, and pup, as if they were her own. I feel very grateful to have found her, and I urge you to book with Maria!

Lin and her husband were amazing. They are the sweetest most caring people and that’s exactly who you want watching over your pet. They were so attentive to Winnie, responsive, set updates and pictures. We’re so glad Lin and her husband were our first experience with Rover.

Susan and Gordon are dog people and we’re really in tune with our dog’s rescue history and needs. They were lovely to meet, professional, great communicators, and respectful of our home and dogs routines. We really appreciated the daily text check-in’s and photos while we were abroad. The peace of mind and collaboration with our family (who provided the overnight care) made it possible to celebrate a milestone occasion and a happy dog grounded in his home environment. We would happily recommend them and will be making future requests. Many thanks Susan and Gordon for giving us such a special trip!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
