Just as was the case when we had Mark stay with our pup previously, we were immediately put at ease from the time of booking Mark. Prior to arriving, Mark had already asked all the questions regarding our dog’s usual routine and care, and so we knew that once again our pup would be in great hands. Mark’s willingness to attend to the little things (doggy tooth brushing and wrapping a new foot wound daily) was so appreciated. He sent frequent “pupdates” so we could feel like we were constantly in the loop with how our pup was doing. We have had issues with leaving our pup with others in the past where we returned to find her super stressed out with diarrhea, etc., but this was not the case after a week with Mark - our dog was happy, healthy, and seemed like she had an amazing week under Mark’s care. Further, Mark left our home spotless. We are so grateful for Mark’s fantastic care!”

I've learnt to train dogs in a safe way, from no collars in crates to making sure they play safely as well. I always ensure that we are being alert on walks and paying attention to their cues, which is the biggest indicator for their safety. I always make sure their water bowl is full and cleaned every day, even their paws are cleaned after every walk with grooming wipes. Their exercise and hygiene is extremely important, and of course all the yummy food and treats that they are allowed to have, one of my dogs has severe allergies, so I am used to catering to those needs as well (external factors and food allergies).

About: I have worked with big dogs when volunteering on private farms, like Labrador and Great Pyrenees. Usually, I use leashes and short commands to let new dogs get used to my voice. I like cuddling and grooming them when they are relaxed beside me. I provide at least 2 hours of outdoor exercises, including regular walks and game time every day. I have 3 leash-free parks within a 5-minute walk from home. My home is always quiet without loud music or the radio, and no home fragrance except Adaptil / Feliway when needed. I make sure to check their skin and fur every day, and trim the nails/ give a bath when they are comfortable with me. Personally, I do not encourage chains and crates for pets unless there are safety concerns. I'm basically free to accept bookings any day during the week. I have some online program studies with a flexible schedule that suits my own preferences, so I can stay home most of the time for pet care, except for 3-4 hours away in the afternoon for a part-time babysitting job in my neighbourhood. I live in a pet-friendly & no-smoking building, a quiet community in Markham. There are more than 3 parks for dog walking within a 1km distance from home. I only do boarding for 1 pet each time for better care. If your family has 2 pets for boarding, please message me so we can discuss the details. I trained my indoor cat Bentley with a stable daily routine. He is always calm and passive with visitors, even when I'm not around. Never bites or scratches anyone. When a new pet comes to my place, I usually isolate Bentley in a different room for the first few days to establish trust between them slowly. I have my own car for commuting and a G license.

About: Ever since I was a little girl I was obsessed and when I mean obsessed I was OBSESSED with animals, more specifically dogs. I would spend my summers volunteering at the OSCPA, I would babysit my neighbours cats and dogs, and try everything in my power to get my parents to get me a dog of my own! When I was 11 I was attacked by a dog and when getting stitched up the only thing I wanted for being so brave was “my own puppy” fast forward two months later and my best friend came into the picture. I have a 13 year old australian labrador who truly is my side kick and best friend. When I was 20 I also fostered a dog from Texas who had been neglected and abused.
