About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for all kinds of pets. I have my own dog, whom I’ve trained and care for every day, giving me hands-on experience with training, exercise, feeding, and providing lots of love and attention. Some things to note about my schedule: As mentioned, I am currently in teachers college. I’m in a placement from September 21–October 26, Monday–Friday from 9:00–3:30, but I do have an hour lunch break each day, so I may be able to work something out depending on what time you’re looking for. I’ll also be away for school November 14–December 18 to which I won’t be available. Then I’ll have another placement January–February. Outside of those times, I have more flexibility. We had mark come out to our house to watch our dog. It was for our wedding weekend and with the stress of that all happening we were also worried about finding a sitter for our pup. Mark put us at such ease knowing she was in great hands and even last minute we asked if we could change his arrive time and he responded right away and was able to accommodate us. Our dog had a fantastic weekend with mark as he kept us up to date on all the adventures they were doing from chasing the ball outside and on long walks to even having their own dance party to be part of our wedding reception. Our pup was tired from the fun weekend she had with mark which was great because we were tired from our weekend as well so we were able to all have a nice lazy afternoon on Sunday. Mark was 10/10 and our dog would also rate 10/10 paws. We will be sure to book with mark again!
We had a great experience with Vanessa! She stayed in our home for five days and was so kind, sweet, and gentle with our cats. One of our cats is a rescue with a lot of anxiety, so Vanessa was incredibly patient with him and did everything she could to help him feel safe and comfortable. After a couple of days, he started coming out of his shell and even came out to get to know her a little, which meant so much to us. Vanessa was incredibly communicative throughout our trip and sent us lots of updates and photos, which we really appreciated. She took great care of our home and my plants, which was very important for us. We felt completely at ease knowing our cats and our home were in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Vanessa and would happily have her stay with our cats again!
