About: I have experience with a variety of animals from dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I regularly visit and care for my Uncle's two pomeranian. I've cat sit for friends, and have my own guinea pigs. I work from home as an online instructor and editor, so my schedule is flexible given advanced notice. I'm not available Sundays, and currently Tuesday and Thursday evenings due to other commitments until the end of summer. I prefer afternoons or evenings, as I do work Monday through Saturdays and tend to have tasks before lunch, but I'm flexible after that and I can make adjustments with advanced notice. Spending time with a furry creature after sitting at a desk is a great way to end the day. I regularly clean my guinea pigs cage, replace water and paper, and feed twice a day. I talk to, pet, and engage with the animals in my care. I get to know their personalities and what works for them. For example, one of my guinea piggies is cuddlier and more social than the other one. I think pet care is specific to the animal or owner, so I'd prefer to find out what's required and follow instructions while being gentle, but assertive with the creatures.

I cannot recommend Indhira enough! She was absolutely amazing with Caramel and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was Caramel’s first time with a pet sitter. Caramel normally refuses to eat when we’re not home, but Indhira was so patient and caring that she actually got her to eat, which says a lot about how comfortable Caramel felt with her. She played with her, gave her so much attention, and constantly kept me updated with pictures and videos. I never had to worry or wonder how Caramel was doing. Indhira is incredibly trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. I will 100% be rebooking with Indhira. Liny was fantastic! We had only ever used drop in services before and our cat always hid from them and was an anxious wreck by the time we returned We decided to try housesitting with Liny and she was great! Before we had even reached the Cottage we had rented she had sent photos of her and our cat Riggs cuddled up, and all of my worries were gone! It was good to finally connect with Crystal. We felt she really took a liking to Harley when we met over the summer, and Harley seemed quite comfortable with her. Harley is 17 and blind. She may not see you, but she sure seems to know when she's safe. When we briefed Crystal this morning, Harley was right there at her feet (perhaps just waiting for us to leave?). When we finally did leave, Harley was lounging on Crystal's lap. They had a busy day, including a walk to one of our regular spots, a few naps and she was comfortable enough to go about her usual business of exploring. I don't know if we were missed or not.
