Our dog is border collie and normally very sensitive to new environments which can take him a while to settle in. Their care seamless integrates into our lives coz after walking 2 steps from our beds, we let them loose in the backyard to relieve themselves or take them for walks so they are exhausted and are hungry. A tired dog is a happy dog; we always keep that in mind and check for some play sessions throughout the day whenever they need it and keep rewarding them with treats what they have in their bags. Apart from the usual routines that are supposed to be followed with them , as told to us by their pet parents , depending on the pet , we ensure they have access to fresh water and place to rest all the time. We have offered our own chesterfield (sofa) exclusively for them where they can comfortably climb and rest and descend down and sit on the floor too if they want to change their place anytime. Experienced with positive reinforcement training and handling puppies and non-reactive/agressive adult dogs. I am currently WFH so will have plenty of time with your pup and always keep you with frequent updates. I usually take my Border Collie boy for a walk twice a day in the neighborhoods, and out for longer trails (or beaches) one or two times a week further north. I live in a condo with big living room space for activities, and potty pads always accessible so there’s no need for your pup to hold the pee anytime (if they are already potty trained), even in between the potty breaks taken outdoor. I have a friendly and trained 40lbs border collie boy as a good company at home and play pen/crate are there in case they need a little space for themselves. For dog walks, depending on the dog size, activity level and personality, I can drive/take them to off leash trails, hikes, or easy neighborhood walks.

Their care seamless integrates into our lives coz after walking 2 steps from our beds, we let them loose in the backyard to relieve themselves or take them for walks so they are exhausted and are hungry. A tired dog is a happy dog; we always keep that in mind and check for some play sessions throughout the day whenever they need it and keep rewarding them with treats what they have in their bags. Apart from the usual routines that are supposed to be followed with them , as told to us by their pet parents , depending on the pet , we ensure they have access to fresh water and place to rest all the time. We have offered our own chesterfield (sofa) exclusively for them where they can comfortably climb and rest and descend down and sit on the floor too if they want to change their place anytime. We try to do a quick brush up too if they need one and ensure their water and food bowls are cleaned regularly
About: Back in South Africa I walked my dog Joey twice a day, every day — dog parks, long routes, the works. When I moved to Toronto in 2023 I left him with my family, but the love for it never left. Now I get my fix by walking yours. I know what dogs need to feel safe and loved, and I treat every pet like my own. As a photographer, my schedule is way more flexible than a 9-to-5 — shoots tend to happen on weekends or in the evenings, which means my weekdays are largely free and I can easily work around your pup's needs. Your pet's safety comes first, always. Dogs stay leashed in public, I stay off my phone during walks, and I double-check every gate and door. I respect your home and keep you in the loop. You'll always get update photos, and if I happen to have my camera on me, you might just get a few pro portraits of your pup thrown in.
About: Growing up in a household with three Toy Poodles, two Yorkshire Terriers and a British Blue, I just love being around and taking care of small pets. I work from home with my husband Ben and can take care of any boarding pets full day, and we will do our best to satisfy your demands. Transportation is also available upon request. Boarding pets have the entire living area to themselves, no cages. For dogs I can walk them as many times as the owner demands in between work items. For drop-ins, I make sure to sensitize myself to not pass any germs to pets for the 30 mins plus service + playtime.

About: From the moment they enter our world/life till the moment they cross the rainbow bridge, I've learned so much from these beautiful creatures we adopt into our family. My latest family dog, an energetic and excited border collie, helped me truly understand the importance of stability, love, exercise, and play, especially for energetic or working dog breeds. From puppy to senior care, I've done it all and loved being the two-legged buddy to our furry friends! After moving out to university, I've found myself ending up, in one way or another, fostering cats that have unfortunately ended up with nowhere else to go. Knowing I couldn't turn away a soul in need, I've learned so much more about cats, especially when they're in a new environment/ around new people. Showing stability, consistency, love, and respect has so far earned me beautiful bonds with every cat I've spent time with, whether in my own home or in the homes of others. I'm confident I can take care of your little loved ones and hopefully make your stay away from your home and pet(s) at least a little bit easier! I currently work from home / online, so I can be available any day / time to care for your pet. For overnights / if you'd like me to stay for multiple days, I would bring my laptop to work (I do not use audio / video for my job). So really, the flexibility of my current schedule would likely make booking me easier for you! Since I live in a basement apartment (with 2 cats), I wouldn't be available to offer services out of my own home. However, I make it a habit to take care of daily hygiene (eg. cleaning litter boxes, brushing, nail clipping depending on temperament, etc.), feeding according to instructions and schedules, and ensuring pets get an adequate amount of play and exercise. I've found that the more play and activity an animal does during the day can greatly impact their temperament and sleep.

Our dog is border collie and normally very sensitive to new environments which can take him a while to settle in. His family was understanding of his needs and patiently worked with him to settle in and ensure he had an amazing stay. He kept us updated throughout the entire stay with how our dog was doing, while sending pictures and videos.
