“Aileen is incredibly honest and sweet! I was very nervous since it was my first time using Rover, but she immediately put me at ease. She connected with my puppy right away during her drop ins and has been amazing, even sending me pictures to keep me updated. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! highly recommend her!”

“Tatiana has been absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Champ. She is reliable, always on time, and incredibly patient and attentive. She never rushes, takes the time to do things properly, and it’s clear she genuinely cares. Champ is always calm and happy with her — we feel very lucky to have found her.”

About: Back in South Africa I walked my dog Joey twice a day, every day — dog parks, long routes, the works. When I moved to Toronto in 2023 I left him with my family, but the love for it never left. Now I get my fix by walking yours. I know what dogs need to feel safe and loved, and I treat every pet like my own. As a photographer, my schedule is way more flexible than a 9-to-5 — shoots tend to happen on weekends or in the evenings, which means my weekdays are largely free and I can easily work around your pup's needs. Your pet's safety comes first, always. Dogs stay leashed in public, I stay off my phone during walks, and I double-check every gate and door. I respect your home and keep you in the loop. You'll always get update photos, and if I happen to have my camera on me, you might just get a few pro portraits of your pup thrown in.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attentiveness I bring to every pet. I treat animals like family and tailor my approach based on their personality, age, and specific needs. I’m comfortable caring for young puppies who need consistency, structure, and reinforcement of basic training, as well as senior pets who require patience, medication reminders, slower walks, and extra comfort. I prioritize safety, communication, and routine so your pet feels secure and you feel at ease. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to build pet care into my day without rushing. I plan my time around the pets in my care to ensure they receive consistent attention and supervision. Please note: A $10 late fee will be applied if arrival is more than 10 minutes past the scheduled time, with an additional $10 charged for every additional 10-minute increment. I provide safe, structured care in my home or yours, following routines closely, reinforcing training for puppies, supporting seniors, and ensuring consistent updates and attention.
“I cannot recommend Didem enough. She is the definition of a professional. Not only did she follow all of our instructions perfectly, but she also won over our usually shy cat within minutes. Her communication was top-tier—she responded to every question promptly and sent detailed updates after every visit. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated who genuinely loves animals as much as she does. If you need a reliable sitter who treats your pet like family, she is the one.”

“Haley was great! On the meet and greet she brought a little treat bag for my kitty. Detailed notes were left on every visit, and everything was left immaculate. :) I can tell she puts a lot of love and care into her work.”

“Mayara and Pedro were awesome. They exactly followed what we have discussed ,even did better! I was very worried because of my previous experience, but they turned my experience to a good one. They sent lots of videos and pictures of my cat, played with him. They gave him a good company while i was away. I'm happy that i found a trustworthy couple to take care of my baby whenever I'm away. Thank you guys and definitely contact to you soon for my next trip!”

“She really went above and beyond to care for my cat and check up on her while I was gone for 10 days on vacation! She really helped the experience to be stress-free and was a great companion for my cat. Highly Recommend!”

About: The fact that both my wife and me do it as core dog lovers and share special bond with them . Once you have us, you have us for a lifetime and so do your furkids. Their care seamless integrates into our lives coz after walking 2 steps from our beds, we let them loose in the backyard to relieve themselves or take them for walks so they are exhausted and are hungry. A tired dog is a happy dog; we always keep that in mind and check for some play sessions throughout the day whenever they need it and keep rewarding them with treats what they have in their bags. Apart from the usual routines that are supposed to be followed with them , as told to us by their pet parents , depending on the pet , we ensure they have access to fresh water and place to rest all the time. We have offered our own chesterfield (sofa) exclusively for them where they can comfortably climb and rest and descend down and sit on the floor too if they want to change their place anytime. We try to do a quick brush up too if they need one and ensure their water and food bowls are cleaned regularly
About: Hi there! My name is Janis, and I am a newly graduated veterinarian. I have had a lifelong love for animals and years of practical hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I am currently offering dog walking, dog sitting, and pet care services with a very flexible schedule before I begin full time veterinary work at the end of July. Thanks to my extensive veterinary training and clinical experience, I am comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, administering medications, monitoring senior pets, and helping anxious animals feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, a shorter stroll, playtime and enrichment, cuddles on the couch, or just a calm reassuring presence, I tailor my care to what makes them happiest. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your animal. I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own, and keep you updated with plenty of photos and communication while they’re in my care! Id love to meet you and your furry family members! I start full time veterinary work at the end of July. Until then, my schedule is extremely flexible and am happy to cater to anyone’s needs. Once I start to work, we can discuss more concrete times. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved as possible while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home for drop-ins, walks, or sitting visits, I do my best to stick closely to their normal routine so they can feel relaxed and secure in their familiar environment. As a newly graduated veterinarian, your pets safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities, including puppies/kittens, anxious animals, senior pets, and those with medical needs. I’m also trained to recognize subtle signs of stress or illness, which gives many owners extra peace of mind when trusting someone with their furry family member. For dogs, I priority safe walks, secure leashing/harnessing, hydration, enrichment, and lots of positive attention. For cats, I understand the importance of patience, calm energy, and respecting each cat’s individual comfort level. I know how nerve-wracking it can feel leaving your pet with someone new, so communication is huge for me. You can always expect regular updates, photos, and honesty throughout my visits. My goal is not only for your pets to be well cared for, but genuinely excited to see me again!

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for and training dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I adopted my 10-year-old German Shepherd when he was 1, and have raised and trained him since, so I understand the commitment, consistency, and patience needed for long-term care. Over the years, I’ve also dog-sat a wide range of breeds including Bichon Frise, Japanese Spitz, Samoyeds, Akitas, and Huskies. This has given me experience adapting to different energy levels, personalities, and care needs. I’m comfortable caring for both senior dogs who need a gentle, attentive routine, and puppies who require structure and training support. My approach is calm, reliable, and focused on making each dog feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. On a personal note, my dream is to one day help rescue and care for stray dogs in different countries. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I already care for my own 10-year-old German Shepherd, which includes regular walks, feeding, exercise, medication, and maintaining a consistent routine to keep him healthy and happy. I have experience dog sitting for other dogs throughout the week, so I’m comfortable adjusting my routine to fit different care schedules, whether that’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays. Overall, I’m organized, flexible, and genuinely enjoy having pet care as part of my everyday life rather than seeing it as an occasional task. Currently, I’m taking a career break, so I have plenty of time and availability to dedicate to pet care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication, and any specific care preferences. I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and get plenty of attention while you’re away, including playtime, walks, and companionship based on their energy level and personality. For dog walking, I ensure safe, structured walks that match each dog’s pace and needs. Whether it’s a calm senior dog or an energetic breed, I adjust the walk accordingly and prioritize leash safety, exercise, and mental stimulation. I also provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to care for each pet as if they were my own, while respecting your home and maintaining a clean, reliable, and trustworthy presence.
“Maryna is in a word - awesome. We are always nervous leaving our pet when on vacation but as always, her communication was amazing with constant updates on how our girl was doing in pictures, videos of them playing and of course the report cards. Our cat loved her (and she's not the most affectionate with others) and I would not hesitate to book Maryna any time in the future!”

“Lisa was absolutely amazing taking care of our cat Adel for 4 days while we were away on a short trip. She always came at agreed hour, greeting Adel and making everything we asked her to. She sent us pictures and videos of Adel, her food and litter, which gave us peace of mind. Really appreciate such attention to detail - Lisa's services are highly recommended!”

“My dog, Gordo, enjoyed Connor's company. Connor is trust worthy, friendly, accommodating, followed the care instructions I left for Gordo and updated me regularly. Gordo is a large, 100 lb, stubborn Old English Bulldog and Connor took good care of him, taking in to consideration the tips I provided for his care. (if you have a large, stubborn dog - you will understand why care tips are important) I will rebook with Connor.”

About: I have sat and walked many dogs for family members, neighbours and for work. I have watched young puppies and cared for a senior dog in his last months which required giving medication and attending to his special needs. I currently work 3-4 times a week. But the rest of the week I should be fully available to look after your adorable fur babies I am very gentle and respectful to all animals and will show your pets the most loving and caring environment. I have a fenced backyard where your dogs can play and run around, and while I’m with them, they’ll always have someone to play with.
“Sarah is a Calm, Patient and Caring person, Neigeux liked her from the first time ; Sarah is responsible and on time. And she pays attention to all requested details. She is a kind person and Neigeux enjoys relaxing next to her. I had a piece of mind whilst being away from home. I highly recommend Sarah.”

About: Love & caring (feeding, play, dog walks) different sizes of dogs with their unique personalities. Experienced with positive reinforcement training and handling puppies and non-reactive/agressive adult dogs. I am currently WFH so will have plenty of time with your pup and always keep you with frequent updates. I usually take my Border Collie boy for a walk twice a day in the neighborhoods, and out for longer trails (or beaches) one or two times a week further north. I live in a condo with big living room space for activities, and potty pads always accessible so there’s no need for your pup to hold the pee anytime (if they are already potty trained), even in between the potty breaks taken outdoor. I have a friendly and trained 40lbs border collie boy as a good company at home and play pen/crate are there in case they need a little space for themselves. For dog walks, depending on the dog size, activity level and personality, I can drive/take them to off leash trails, hikes, or easy neighborhood walks.

Xue is very sweet, caring, and positive pet sitter. During my absence, she took wonderful care of my baby girl, and I truly appreciate everything she did. She was always on time, sent me lots of photos everyday and kept me updated, which gave me great peace of mind. I completely trust Xue and would not hesitate to book her again in the future. I’m so grateful for the excellent care she provided, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

I cannot recommend Didem enough. She is the definition of a professional. Not only did she follow all of our instructions perfectly, but she also won over our usually shy cat within minutes. I would ask Damini to look after my cat Portia, again! She was so good at sending me photos and videos which gave me ease while I was away, and you can tell from her energy that she’s so good with pets - Portia was open to going close to her on the first meet which is always a good sign. Damini is very responsive and and very kind. I’m super happy to have booked with her 😊

This was our first attempt at helping our baby get familiar and comfortable with someone else taking care of him. Zakaria did two visits in one day and was very kind and patient and he connected with Luci right away. He also followed our feeding instructions and refreshing his litter carefully and paid attention to every detail. We’re happy to have found him and look forward to continuing the process!

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Concord choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
