“I’m lucky to have found Danielle! I have a senior chihuahua who needs a little extra care and patience with her drop in visits (she is mostly blind and deaf), and now I can rest easy knowing she is safe in Danielle hands. She is very caring and communicative. I will continue to use her services :)”

“Tatiana was great with our two cats! Spent lots of time playing with them and making the experience great. She mentioned to me her goal is to ensure the least stress for the pets and she achieved just that. Thanks so much for keeping our little ones comfortable while we were away ❤️”

“Gabrielle is wonderful! She is wonderfully responsive, kind and caring. She took great care of my precious pets and sent wonderful updates throughout the time. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!”

“Amber has been a lifesaver with our puppy! Her tail wags crazy when Amber arrives and is always so excited to see her. Amber is so flexible with our last minute bookings and very respectful, she is great with keeping up your own training and rules with puppy. Even our shy toddler lover her! She is our go to now for sure! 🙂”

“Madeline is super reliable, caring, and trustworthy! My family booked her many times for drop-in visits for our special needs dog and two kittens. The whole gang loved her and she always sent amazing updates each visit. Can’t recommend her more!!!”
About: With 9 years of hands-on pet care experience and a dog and cat of my own, I understand what pets need to feel safe and comfortable away from home. I'm attentive to each animal's unique personality and routine, ensuring they get the same love and care I give my own. Your pet isn't just a booking they're family. As a freelance remote worker, pet care fits seamlessly into my everyday life. Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, I have open availability throughout the day meaning pets in my care are never left alone for long stretches. I'm always nearby to offer walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles on a consistent schedule. My lifestyle is built around being present, which makes caring for your pet feel less like a side job and more like a natural part of my day. I am also lucky to be surrounded by an abundance of green space and dog parks, with the Kay Beltline Trail right at my doorstep making every walk an adventure your pup will love. When caring for pets in your home, my approach is always attentive, consistent, and loving. I understand that familiar surroundings make a big difference — especially for pets who are anxious or routine-driven. I follow each pet's established schedule closely, from feeding times to walks and playtime, so they feel calm and comfortable while you're away. As a remote freelancer with open availability, I'm never rushing in and out. I dedicate real, unhurried time to every pet in my care, treating your home and your animal with the same respect and attention I'd give my own.
“Hoora and Mehrdad were amazing with our cats! They took many photos and videos, as well as played with them to keep them company. They were very attentive and great at following the instructions we left. Would definitely recommend them!”

“Svetlana was kind, quick to respond, and did a wonderful job with drop-in visits for our two cats while we were away for the week. We felt very comfortable knowing they were in good hands and would happily book with her again.”

About: I have been a foster for assistance dog training programs in both Ontario and BC for over six years (PADS, Lions Foundation Dog Guides). My dogs have become assistance dogs for the deaf, underprivileged, and others. I have several years of training with these programs, which has educated me on providing exceptional care. Most importantly, I offer a home with gentle energy that allows dogs to feel comfortable and secure. I currently foster a very cute two year old Labrador. I am retired, so my schedule is wide open, allowing me to provide care for your pet, even at a moment's notice. I will not take on two dog sitting requests at the same time, allowing me to focus on your pet. I have a very pet friendly dog who will gently play with yours. I am wide open to your requests, covering the specific needs your dog may have.
“Setareh, thank you so much for looking after Cora and Cheri while we were away. You were so kind and thoughtful to them and even though we were away only for a couple of nights, you kept us updated throughout and it was easy to see why the girls loved you so much 💕”

“She was an incredibly caring and attentive sitter, and I felt completely at ease leaving my dog with her while I was in Mexico. My dog has pretty intense separation anxiety, and she went above and beyond—spending extra time with him during each visit to make sure he felt calm and supported. She also handled all the logistics seamlessly, from coordinating with the concierge to managing key pick-ups and returns between visits, which made the whole experience effortless on my end. What I appreciated most was her thoughtful, proactive approach—whether it was tossing treats to build trust, taking him on walks, or simply letting him sniff and decompress to release energy. You can tell she genuinely understands dogs and cares about their well-being. Overall, a truly great experience. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I've been surrounded by pets since I was very young from various family members who helped teach me how to take care of them and general pet knowledge. I've had two havanese dogs when I was growing up and living with my parents. This breed needs a lot of mental stimulation and enrichment so I have a lot of experience with these kinds of activities. My older dog unfortunately passed last summer after having several health issues and needing daily medication for months in addition to needing to wear diapers so I am very experienced with caring for senior dogs. The dog my parents still have is quite reactive and has very bad anxiety. I have done several training sessions and dog training classes with him so I am very familiar with the needs of a reactive dog. I've been a dog sitter for most people in my life and love spending time with them! I am an actor currently between contracts so I have lots of spare time that I would love to spend with as many fur babies as I can :) Having met so many dogs over the years, I feel like I have a very good understanding of how to build trust and work at their own pace. I'm very aware of the fact that I am a stranger to new animals and that they might need time to warm up to me. I've also had to deal with reactive dogs on walks and know to keep an eye out for potential triggers they might encounter and avoid them.
“Shamika always takes great care of my 3 cats when I'm away. I get daily updates on food intake and play time, lots of photos, and the house and litter is always kept clean. She does a great job with my old and grumpy cat who needs three meds, twice a day. Don't hesitate to book her to look after your pets. Recommended.”

“Valeria is an amazing person and very dedicated😊 Very professional and caring 😊 This is my second booking with her and she was just as perfect 🥰 Highly recommend her service and looking forward to meet her next vacation☺️ Thank you Valeria🎀”

“I think my cat Pippi just forgot about me. She took care of her soooo well, my cat had really good time. Being on time, perfect communication, nothing needs to worry. Whenever she sent me photos, my cat was jumping on air, shining eyes, just so happy cat. But dear, don't forget me..”

“This was Lauren’s first meet and great with Cordelia. It’s obvious that Lauren has a special connection with animals. Cordelia came out to see her twice during their visit. That is something that Cordelia does not do. We are so pleased with Lauren, that we have booked another visit this week.”

Toronto pet parents share their Rover experiences
Georgia and her mother Alissa were absolutely amazing while taking care of my two cats during my vacation in Nova Scotia. They gave me complete peace of mind by sending daily text updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear my cats were safe, happy, and very well cared for. They went above and beyond by picking up a Litter Genie I had ordered from Amazon and even setting it up for me. When I returned home, my place was very clean and everything was in great shape. Georgia showed a lot of responsibility, maturity, and kindness, and Alissa was just as thoughtful and helpful. I’m extremely grateful for the care they provided and would highly recommend Georgia and Alissa to anyone looking for trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate pet care.

Doreen was great! She took care of our cat, Bruce, for the weekend and came by twice. Bruce can be quite timid with new people, so I know she didn't get to experience his affectionate side, but she was incredibly patient and thorough. She updated me after every single visit, so I never worried about him and knew he was in excellent care. I would definitely use her again!

Danielle walked my little Westie Freya the last 2 days. She was wonderful, a terrific communicator and even travelled a little further to come and walk her. She took really good care of Freya I would very highly recommend her and will definitely use her again. Thank you Danielle🐾

Albina was wonderful with our cat Lulu. She arrived on time, followed all instructions carefully, and even spent extra time playing with Lulu, which we really appreciated. It gave us peace of mind knowing Lulu was in such kind and reliable hands. We would happily recommend Albina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.
I think my cat Pippi just forgot about me. She took care of her soooo well, my cat had really good time. Being on time, perfect communication, nothing needs to worry. Whenever she sent me photos, my cat was jumping on air, shining eyes, just so happy cat. But dear, don't forget me..

Tatiana was fantastic! She even came for a meet-and-greet on her own time before taking the job. She stepped in at the last minute to watch my dogs and did a wonderful job. She was friendly, kind, and took great care of both my dogs and the property. She spent time playing with them in the backyard and made sure they were well looked after. Highly recommend her!

We hired Andie to hang out with our pup during the day whipe we were at work. We have been working with Andie for dog walking for over a year. She is amazing with dogs, very communicative, shared lots of photos and videos of our girl. She is trustworthy and responsible and I highly recommend her to care for your pets!

Erin has babysat my fur kids (kitties) a few times now. I can't emphasize enough how fantastic she is. She is so kind and loving to my kitties, and even my shy boy is drawn out to her for play time and cuddles. Erin sends the BEST updates with photos and videos. She gives me so much peace when I'm away from home. I cannot recommend her enough.
