“We were SO lucky to have found Sam for Simba’s 4-day stay right before our trip! Sam and Matt are extremely caring and kind, and Simba loved them the second he met them! Their place is also super cute, and Simba felt at home instantly. You can tell that Sam and Matt genuinely care about the doggos - their love shows in how they play, cuddle, and spend time with the pups. Sam sent us regular updates, photos, and videos of Simba playing, relaxing, and getting all the cuddles in the world. He looked SO happy and comfortable, it gave us real peace of mind knowing how well taken care of he was. They played lots of fetch with him, took him on walks, followed his feeding schedule, and showered him with love and attention. He even got a report card at the end of his stay! We have a hard time leaving Simba with anyone, and it’s so nice to have someone trustworthy like Sam in the city. She truly is your pet’s new best friend, and we’re so lucky to have found her. About: I'm a long time animal lover and I was raised to treat pets with kindness and respect. I love getting to know every individual pet and their quirks. I was lucky to share 16 wonderful years with my cat Maeve - a siamese mix who had very strong opinions. Growing up we had our uncle’s Labrador, and then when Hoosier moved out we adopted a beagle mix who was always getting in to something. In my teens my parents finally brought home the cat I had been begging for! A semi-feral rescue and (it being the 1990’s) an outdoor girlie she never became a people cat - which just made it all the more special when she would curl up beside me every morning before school. In high school I provided after-school care to a very active golden lab, and dog walking for a husky up the street. In our 20's my brother adopted a doberman/shepherd mix, and my best friend has had a series of pit bull and bull mix rescues that I have helped with for the last 20 years. These days I provide care for my dads cockapoo whenever he goes out of town, as well as regular drop in care and play to my friends pets - Onix (a dachshund) and Azalea (Australian Shepherd) & Maka (a little bit of every breed!). I love dogs and cats and because I have been around them all my life I am able to bring a warm calm presence with me when I provide care for them. For drop in care and house sitting size doesn’t matter - however these days for safety reasons I only provide leashed walks for small or medium dogs. I'm looking to provide pet care services near my home. I have a flexible schedule and can easily adjust my responsibilities to ensure I'm free to give your pet the time and attention they need. I am also available for overnight stays and house sitting. Whether it is a drop in play date, medication dose, food top up and litter box clean up for your cat, or an active walk in the local ravine or a peaceful meander while they sniff every corner, drop in feeding, companionship or medication for your dog; when you're away from home at work or on vacation - I'm happy to help you take care of your pet. Because Rover does not give me a way to adjust my pricing to account for the different levels of care different animals require my house sitting rate includes 15-30 minutes of walking. If your fur baby requires more than that I'm happy to discuss and agree on a reasonable rate to account for the additional care your dog requires (Just the backyard? No increase, 90 minutes twice a day? Lets chat!) I work non-traditionally and am able to be flexible with hours and location and this lets me prioritize your pets needs while you are away I'm happy to maintain your pets routine while you are away to minimize stress - I have worked with feral cats and rescue dogs and take my cues from your pet, whether this means active play, or maintaining a quiet calm atmosphere while they get used to me. I am willing to consider hosting cats in my home, but unfortunately my building prohibits dogs.

When we met Aravind at the meet and greet he gave Max lots of space and before long Max was asking for attention and following Aravind's instructions- Aravind had a wonderful way with Max. We were away for over a week and Aravind sent a variety of pictures of their time together so we could see that Max was doing well. Max will certainly be happy to stay with Aravind again when we next need boarding care.”

“Yvonne and Manuel were absolutely incredible with Louie — I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We did a meet and greet beforehand, and Louie instantly connected with Yvonne, which gave me so much confidence right from the start. When I dropped him off, he ran straight into their home without hesitation — I immediately knew he felt safe and comfortable. While I was away, they sent regular updates and photos, which meant so much and allowed me to fully relax knowing Lou was in great hands. Louie can be quite reactive with other dogs, and they took the time to really listen and understand his needs. They handled him with such care, patience, and awareness — I was beyond impressed. It’s not easy to find people you completely trust with your dog, but I am so grateful to have found Yvonne and Manuel. Louie was so happy there, and I will absolutely be booking with them again.
