Super nice guy, able to do a meet and greet on short notice and our doggy had a great walk. She is big and a little intimidating but Nigel had no issues handling her.

About: I've been surrounded by pets since I was very young from various family members who helped teach me how to take care of them and general pet knowledge. I've had two havanese dogs when I was growing up and living with my parents. This breed needs a lot of mental stimulation and enrichment so I have a lot of experience with these kinds of activities. My older dog unfortunately passed last summer after having several health issues and needing daily medication for months in addition to needing to wear diapers so I am very experienced with caring for senior dogs. The dog my parents still have is quite reactive and has very bad anxiety. I have done several training sessions and dog training classes with him so I am very familiar with the needs of a reactive dog. I've been a dog sitter for most people in my life and love spending time with them! I am an actor currently between contracts so I have lots of spare time that I would love to spend with as many fur babies as I can :) Having met so many dogs over the years, I feel like I have a very good understanding of how to build trust and work at their own pace. I'm very aware of the fact that I am a stranger to new animals and that they might need time to warm up to me. I've also had to deal with reactive dogs on walks and know to keep an eye out for potential triggers they might encounter and avoid them.

About: I am a Third Year Pre-Vet Student with experience in shelter medicine, working with neonates all the way to senior animals. I have grown up around animals my entire life and have spent the past several years walking friends and neighbours dogs. I am willing to cater to individual needs and have experience handling dogs of all shapes and sizes. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I am currently on summer break from university, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pet! Taking care of your pet will be my priority, and I am flexible to discuss a potential schedule I treat my client’s home with the uttermost respect. I always clean up after the pets, I make sure they always have water and are fed when needed. I double check that doors are locked and windows are closed. Your pets safety and comfort are extremely important to me.

I had such an incredible experience with Diana last week. I was in a bind with travel and needed someone to stop in and walk my Golden while my husband was working. Diana made everything super easy, was very professional and sent pictures to show that all was well. My dog loved her, I will absolutely book with her again.

About: I've been dealing with animals since I was 9! Officially got my first cat when I was 10 and from then on I have been dealing with kittens, puppies and grown pets ever since! I've cleaned small cat scratches and bite wounds from bigger dogs. I've walked dogs over 80 pounds and 1 great dane, I've bathed (but unfortunately not gotten into the grooming) dogs and cats, trimmed nails, cleaned and brushed fur. During 2023 I was able to do my own co-op time at Petopia(a dog daycare) where I was able to learn how to deal with dogs with varying temperaments, personalities and interests! With the help of google I was even able to help my own dog out of constipation. I've also begun to pet sit for my uncle's dog, who used to be a puppy I helped raise! Also including my cousins two old chihuahuas and another cousins extremely chunky and skittish cat!! As an extra bonus, I've also had a little experience in reptiles and aquatic animals–as well as dealing with reactive dogs(my own dog is reactive. But please note, I am not certified or licensed or even a professional when it comes to reactive dogs–just extremely willing to continue learning about how to make their lives easier.) • I will not be accepting anything before 9 a.m if you live too far as I travel by TTC. • I have another job that can affect my schedule, but worry not, I will always make sure to let you know if I can make it or not. • Most of my drops–ins and/or walks will be in the A.Ms ! With every dog I've ever had or pet sat, I always monitor them to see how much they eat and if they'd rather be alone or not. My own dog gets breakfast, lunch and dinner - His water bowl is changed after every meal. He gets 1 bath every month (unless urgently needed) and the basics of nail clipping, ear cleaning and teeth brushing. My cats are more self sufficient but their bowls are refilled every night, water changed every 48 hours. A bath is given every 4-6 months, unless urgently needed or they generally stink. On occasion (at least once a month) I trim my cousins cats nails and brush out their fur. He is a large cat with a double coat and extremely feisty personality, I've learned to be patient and understanding when he isn't in the mood nor focused on being groomed anymore. I don't, unfortunately, offer in-home boarding as my own cats and dog are not good with others. So I will be up to checking in with a pet, crating if needed, bathing and trimming nails! I only ask that you inform my ahead of time if they are good with the bath or nail trimmers. If they aren't I would like to take the time to get to know them and allow them to get comfortable with me before we begin any sort of 'grooming' for my safety and your fur baby's!

About: I've cared for pets belonging to friends and family for years, and I'm also a proud cat mom! I've been a dog mom since I was a kid, so animals have always been a big part of my life. My love for pets runs deep, and I’m passionate about making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and most of all—happy. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or quiet company, I focus on what each pet needs to feel at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. I have time for walks, playtime, and lots of one-on-one attention. There are plenty of parks and green spaces nearby, so dogs get to enjoy fun, safe outings and fresh air. Whether it's a quick check-in, a cuddle break, or an afternoon stroll, I love making pet care a regular part of my day. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize creating a calm, stress-free environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, playtime, and rest—to maintain consistency and reduce anxiety. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I keep owners updated regularly with photos and messages to build trust. If caring for pets in my home, I ensure a clean, secure, and welcoming space with plenty of room for play and relaxation. I separate pets as needed for their safety and comfort and provide constant supervision to prevent any accidents. My home is fully pet-proofed, with access to fresh water, cozy resting spots, and toys to keep pets engaged and happy. Above all, I treat every pet like family—respecting their individual personalities and ensuring they feel loved and secure.

About: I’ve spent my entire life around dogs, having cared for five of my own over the years. I currently help care for a high-energy, highly trained dog every day, handling everything from feeding and exercise to grooming and dental care. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and needs, and I treat every dog in my care with the same attention, patience, and affection I’d give my own! Pet care fits really naturally into my life. I recently finished my Master of Environmental Science, so I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors. Most days, you'll find me out for a walk, at a park, or finding reasons to get outside and stay active. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, so having one by my side feels normal rather than something I have to make time for. I genuinely enjoy the company, whether that means going for a long walk, playing fetch, or just hanging out together at home. I think dogs pick up on when someone truly enjoys being around them, and that's a big part of why I love caring for them. At my home, I keep dogs active and engaged with a morning run or park visit, followed by a few shorter walks throughout the day. I also spend about 30 minutes daily on training or play, working on obedience and tricks, plus lots of attention and cuddles. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal routine so dogs feel comfortable, while making sure they get plenty of exercise, structure, and care.

Madison was an amazing dog walker! I'm always a little unsure at first when searching for someone to walk my BIG and crazy dogs, but we knew immediately during the meet and greet that Ayla would be in good hands. You can tell Madison genuinely loves dogs, and is very patient with them. Ayla can be a little shy with new people walking her, but she warmed up to Madison by her second day :) I'd HIGHLY recommend Madison! She is super easy communicate with, is reliable, takes the cutest dog photos on walks, AND shares humourous notes in the report card. I'd give Madison 10 stars if I could!

Warm & personal Mahan has been a wonderful walker for my shy miniature poodle, Toula. He takes the time to understand her personality and creates opportunities for her to socialize with other dogs at her own pace. He even brought his own gentle dog once so she could have calm, one-on-one time with a friendly companion.
