About: I have had dogs and puppies as my own pets back in my home country years back that some were senior dogs too. In the years, I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies from my neighbors and family friends. I’ve always loved dogs and are my weakness of how adorable and playful they are. As well as, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe their pets. I’ve had really good relationships with any age type of the pup. As therefore, one of my neighbor’s dog gets always excited when she sees me. I’m currently in a gap year of college for this year, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for drop-in visits and walking the dogs out. Therefore, I am available from Monday to Friday at 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. I provide a safe, clean, comfortable environment for your pups. I follow their routines, provide fresh water and food, taking them on walks to explore and make news friends at dog parks, give them attention, and always treat them with patience, respect, kindness, and care.
About: I'm a long time animal lover and I was raised to treat pets with kindness and respect. I love getting to know every individual pet and their quirks. I was lucky to share 16 wonderful years with my cat Maeve - a siamese mix who had very strong opinions. Growing up we had our uncle’s Labrador, and then when Hoosier moved out we adopted a beagle mix who was always getting in to something. In my teens my parents finally brought home the cat I had been begging for! A semi-feral rescue and (it being the 1990’s) an outdoor girlie she never became a people cat - which just made it all the more special when she would curl up beside me every morning before school. In high school I provided after-school care to a very active golden lab, and dog walking for a husky up the street. In our 20's my brother adopted a doberman/shepherd mix, and my best friend has had a series of pit bull and bull mix rescues that I have helped with for the last 20 years. These days I provide care for my dads cockapoo whenever he goes out of town, as well as regular drop in care and play to my friends pets - Onix (a dachshund) and Azalea (Australian Shepherd) & Maka (a little bit of every breed!). I love dogs and cats and because I have been around them all my life I am able to bring a warm calm presence with me when I provide care for them. For drop in care and house sitting size doesn’t matter - however these days for safety reasons I only provide leashed walks for small or medium dogs. I'm looking to provide pet care services near my home. I have a flexible schedule and can easily adjust my responsibilities to ensure I'm free to give your pet the time and attention they need. I accept a maximum of 3 bookings per day (one house sit, and up to two drop ins or dog walks) this allows me to make sure every one gets lots of love and attention, and to keep my rates low. If you wish for me to look after your pet exclusively during a stay please let me know and I am happy to do my best to accommodate you. Whether it is a drop in play date, medication dose, food top up and litter box clean up for your cat, or an active walk in the local ravine or a peaceful meander while they sniff every corner, drop in feeding, companionship or medication for your dog; when you're away from home at work or on vacation - I'm happy to help you take care of your pet. Because Rover does not give me a way to adjust my pricing to account for the different levels of care different animals require my house sitting rate includes 15-30 minutes of walking. If your fur baby requires more than that I'm happy to discuss and agree on a reasonable rate to account for the additional care your dog requires (Just the backyard? No increase, 90 minutes twice a day? Lets chat!) I work non-traditionally and am able to be flexible with hours and location and this lets me prioritize your pets needs while you are away. I'm happy to maintain your pets routine while you are away to minimize stress - I have worked with feral cats and rescue dogs and take my cues from your pet, whether this means active play, or maintaining a quiet calm atmosphere while they get used to me. I am willing to consider hosting cats in my home, but unfortunately my building prohibits dogs.

About: It's been two years since I began fostering and in that time I've learned a lot about the importance of caring for a pet whether it be basic training/ commands, thresholds or ensuring they receive proper mental stimulation. With my first foster (eventually foster fail), it was a lot of trial and error to figure out which training method was best suited for him because every dog response is different based on their breed and unique personality. The rescue (Sea Paws Rescue) was very complimentary of my foster's training and said he was one of their best trained intake! I've since fostered a rescue puppy and provided the same basic training to ensure they found their forever home, which we did! The family was also very impressed with how well the puppy responded to sit and down commands. During this time, I also watched 3 dogs in the same household over a two-week period, while ensuring each dog received the required training and engagement on a daily basis. I treat every dog in my care as if their my own and ensure safety precautions are in place to avoid any unnecessary incidents. I also understand that leaving your dog in an unfamiliar environment and person can be nerve wracking, so I will always provide regular updates via text, pics, or videos! I also have my Pet First Aid certificate through Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon! I currently work part-time retail with 2-3 shifts per week, but I have flexible hours. During my two-week stint of caring for three dogs at the same time, it brought me a lot of joy to be surrounded by three loveable (and different) dogs. It also helped my foster pup understand proper boundaries with other dogs to know when and when not to engage or give proper space. In my home, I ensure that it's a safe, clean, and inviting environment for my dog. I also provide a structured routine to ensure he is properly stimulated - both mentally and physically (ex. Morning potty break, breakfast, and morning walks). For your pets, I guarantee they will receive the same treatment as if they were my own. If they have a routine, certain boundaries, or essential needs, I will do everything I can to ensure it's followed exactly as required.

Brandon is truly delightful with a warm, calm and welcoming demeanor. At our meet and greet Brandon learned all about my little girl's caretaking needs and any special instructions. My girl took to Brandon immediately and was completely calm and comfortable right from their first meet. They had a lovely, healthy, fun-filled walk with my girl leading the way (every walker has told me she walks them as opposed to them walking her as she knows exactly where her favourite routes are😉). Sam was awesome with Romeo! She is a great communicator and was able to accommodate us as our other walker fell through last minute. She came over for a meet and greet the same day and was able to start walking him the next day to keep his routine. She also provided pictures on the walk and let me know when she arrived and left. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked.
