About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with 6+ years of hands-on experience raising my own Shiba Inu from a mischievous puppy into a well-behaved, happy adult. I gave her my whole heart and attended multiple pet training courses with her. After a heartbreaking breakup, she’s no longer with me, and I miss her every single day. But I realized I still have so much love and care to give, and I’d love to share it with your dogs as if they were my own😊. Since joining Rover, and through helping friends care for their dogs, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes, especially small to medium breeds, from tiny Maltese to senior bulldog. I’m patient with dogs who are new to boarding or feeling nervous, and I’m great at helping them adjust comfortably to a new environment. I also seem to have a natural connection with dogs haha and they usually warm up to me very quickly and love to stay close by🥰I’m attentive, always follow each owner’s instructions carefully, and make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for with plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. I work from home most weekdays. I’m around for regular supervision and flexible potty breaks based on your dog’s needs. During the day (9–5), I can provide potty breaks in the morning and at lunch, along with 2–3 walks of up to 30 minutes each depending on your dog’s routine and energy level. I live with no kids or other pets, which creates a calm, quiet environment with minimal distraction, great for dogs who prefer a peaceful space or need time to settle in. After 5 p.m. and on weekends, I have even more time to dedicate to your pup for longer walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I live alone in a cozy, pet-friendly condo in a safe neighborhood in North York core with lots of families and young professionals around. My unit is on a high floor and sits behind the main street, so it stays quiet with minimal street noise, perfect for pets who like a calm space. I don’t have tall or high-heel furniture, so it’s safe for curious pets who like to jump or explore. My lifestyle is simple and peaceful - I cook lightly, have few electronic devices, and there are no children or other pets, so visiting pets get my full attention. Whether I’m caring for animals in my home or at a client’s, I keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

About: From the moment they enter our world/life till the moment they cross the rainbow bridge, I've learned so much from these beautiful creatures we adopt into our family. My latest family dog, an energetic and excited border collie, helped me truly understand the importance of stability, love, exercise, and play, especially for energetic or working dog breeds. From puppy to senior care, I've done it all and loved being the two-legged buddy to our furry friends! After moving out to university, I've found myself ending up, in one way or another, fostering cats that have unfortunately ended up with nowhere else to go. Knowing I couldn't turn away a soul in need, I've learned so much more about cats, especially when they're in a new environment/ around new people. Showing stability, consistency, love, and respect has so far earned me beautiful bonds with every cat I've spent time with, whether in my own home or in the homes of others. I'm confident I can take care of your little loved ones and hopefully make your stay away from your home and pet(s) at least a little bit easier! I currently work from home / online, so I can be available any day / time to care for your pet. For overnights / if you'd like me to stay for multiple days, I would bring my laptop to work (I do not use audio / video for my job). So really, the flexibility of my current schedule would likely make booking me easier for you! Since I live in a basement apartment (with 2 cats), I wouldn't be available to offer services out of my own home. However, I make it a habit to take care of daily hygiene (eg. cleaning litter boxes, brushing, nail clipping depending on temperament, etc.), feeding according to instructions and schedules, and ensuring pets get an adequate amount of play and exercise. I've found that the more play and activity an animal does during the day can greatly impact their temperament and sleep.

About: In my home country, I have a 10-year-old golden retriever. It came to my home when it was still a baby. I am well aware of every stage of the dog's life, from the baby stage to the old age stage, and I have a certain understanding of each stage. Currently, I am studying in Canada. I miss my dog very much, but due to the complexity of the flight procedures, I didn't choose to get a dog. Because I want to be responsible for the dogs. They are like family members and cannot be abandoned. During the three summer vacations in Canada (a total of 12 months), I took care of one cat and two dogs for my friends respectively. This gave me rich experience in pet care in Canada. My friends always trust me implicitly because I will update the status of their pets and pay attention to their needs. About: I have been around dogs from an early age, caring for both large breeds like German Shepherds and small dogs like Maltese through family and friends. I gained the most hands-on experience when I raised my own dog, Coco, from puppyhood. I learned to handle everything from potty training to teaching basic commands like sit and stay. Through this, I learned that dogs need patience, consistency, and a calm, attentive owner who can understand their individual needs. In addition, I volunteered at Carefree Lodge retirement home, where I worked with residents with cognitive conditions such as Alzheimer’s. This experience taught me how to adapt to different personalities and situations with patience and empathy. I believe that these skills would translate well into caring for pets, as every animal is unique. My experience working with children at camps and at a therapeutic horseback riding facility (CARD) has also strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, think quickly, and problem-solve in dynamic situations. I truly believe every pet deserves attentive, responsive care, and I would be happy to provide that for yours.. I I am currently on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days, with limited availability on Mondays, Saturday afternoons, and Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, when I may be working or volunteering for 2–6 hours. I am fully available on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Wednesdays for full-time pet care, including overnight stays if needed. A dog needing to be walked is always in my view a top priority, and I adjust those walks based on each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s a short 10-minute walk or a longer, more active one. When indoors, I stay attentive and present, while also respecting your dog’s space. I like to remain nearby so I can monitor how they are doing, but I allow them to approach me for attention at their own pace. I believe every dog, like every person, benefits from having both companionship and personal space, when wanted. I am also comfortable with crating and feeding your dog if requested, and will follow any agreed-upon routines and schedules. Most importantly, I carefully follow all owner instructions to ensure your pet receives the exact care, comfort, and attention they need while in my care.
