“Petra must be an animal whisperer because our territorial cat had 0 issues with her. She was prompt, careful, and obviously understands animals and their body language. We will definitely be contacting her again.”

“Mardi took great care of my cat, Cleo, while I was out of town. She followed all the drop-in care instructions perfectly and updated me via message on how Cleo was doing while I was away which kept me from worrying. I’d definitely hire Mardi again!”

About: Hi! My name is Mone, and I’m a passionate animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with pets. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I currently have a sweet cat at home, so I understand how important it is to find someone who is patient, gentle, and attentive. Living with a cat has taught me how to recognize their unique personalities, respect their boundaries, and make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or needs extra patience, I’ll be happy to care for them with lots of love. I also have experience raising a large dog in Japan, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. Because I currently have a cat at home, I’m only able to offer drop-in visits and dog walking services. This allows me to give your pet my full attention while keeping a safe environment for everyone. I know how much our pets mean to us, so I’ll always treat them like family. I’ll make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🐶🐱💕 I work full-time, about 8 hours a day, five days a week. Because of that, I’m usually away from home between 7am and 3pm. Our home is a spacious one-bedroom apartment of about 50 square meters, offering a comfortable and relaxed environment. We don’t have any pets of our own, so I can give your beloved pet my full attention and care. 🏙️💛

About: Hi, I’m Liz! Growing up in Korea, I was surrounded by animals and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, chicks, hamsters, snails, and goldfish. Although I haven’t owned a pet since moving to Canada over 25 years ago, I’ve regularly helped friends care for their dogs and have been reminded of the incredible joy, companionship, and unconditional love that pets bring into our lives. Now that I work in a hybrid healthcare role and spend more time at home, I’m excited to provide loving, reliable care for pets while doing something I genuinely enjoy. To prepare for pet sitting, I’ve completed Rover’s educational resources and refreshed my knowledge of pet CPR, first aid, and medication administration through independent study and discussions with a friend currently studying veterinary medicine. As a healthcare professional, I am organized, responsible, and attentive to details. Your pet will stay in a clean, newly renovated home located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. There are no children, frequent visitors, or parties, making it an ideal environment for pets that prefer a calm and peaceful setting. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply having a quiet companion nearby, I will treat them with the same care, patience, and affection I would give my own🩵 I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m free most mornings for walks. Home most of the day; Work 3-4 hrs a day hybrid but not every day; am also going for my workout 1-2hrs max Lives with a partner who is always home and will provide companionship. About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 7 years old, The photo shows my daughter when she was little with my Labrador. Pet have always been an important part of my life. I have experience raising both cats and dogs, including two cats and two Labrador Retrievers. This hands-on experience has taught me how to understand pets’ different personalities, provide patient daily care, and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m especially attentive, gentle, and reliable, and I treat every pet like part of the family. I’m a full-time mom, and after dropping my children off at school each day, I spend most of my time at home. I’m available to provide pet care services daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We both work from home which makes sure the dogs is always given full attention and care. PET CARE EXPERIENCE I believe pets are not just animals — they are family. Anyone who loves animals understands that they are companions who bring joy, comfort, and personality into our lives. As a dog lover and owner of two dogs myself, I understand both a pet’s needs and the concerns that owners have when trusting someone else with their furry family members. With nearly 12 years of experience caring for my own dogs, I’m very familiar with their routines, behavior, and the attention they need to stay happy and healthy. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Your fluffy companion will always receive plenty of attention, patience, and affection in my care. WHAT I OFFER 🐾 Dog Walks Walks are often the highlight of a dog’s day. With years of experience walking my own dogs, I understand how important it is for them to explore, exercise, and enjoy their surroundings. I make sure each walk is safe, enjoyable, and suited to your dog’s energy level. 🐾 Drop-In Visits Leaving pets alone for long periods can be stressful for both pets and owners. During drop-in visits I make sure your pet gets their meals on time, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and attention so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. 🐾 House Sitting Traveling can be difficult when you’re worried about your pet. Instead of moving them to an unfamiliar boarding environment, I can stay in your home and care for them where they feel most comfortable. This helps maintain their normal routine and reduces stress while you’re away. MY REQUIREMENTS To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets, I kindly ask for: • Up-to-date vaccinations • Honest disclosure of your pet’s behavior, temperament, likes, and dislikes • Any feeding instructions, medications, or special care needs COMMUNICATION Please feel free to message me anytime if you have questions or would like to arrange a meet-and-greet. I’d love to get to know you and your furry family member! I work from home and live with my partner who also works from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, I can easily follow your pet’s usual schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and bathroom breaks. My flexible routine allows me to make sure pets are not left alone for long periods and that they receive the care, attention, and companionship they need during the day. I live in a clean, pet-friendly condo with plenty of nearby parks and green spaces that are perfect for safe and enjoyable walks. Pets staying with me are treated like family — they are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s something they are used to at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to respect their space while maintaining the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for whether they are staying with me or I am caring for them in their own home.
About: I’ve grown up around all kinds of animals, dogs, cats, and even small pets like hamsters, so being around them just feels natural to me. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, and I connect with them really easily, whether they’re super energetic or more shy and calm. I’ve also taken care of my friends’ dogs a few times, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m very responsible and patient, and I always pay attention to what each pet needs. I’m also pretty confident with basic training and helping reinforce good habits in a gentle way. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own, with lots of love, care, and attention. My schedule is pretty flexible and fits well into my daily routine. I’m available after 12 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and I’m also available in the mornings and after 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. During the summer, my schedule is much more flexible, which allows me to be more available for pet care as needed. I provide a safe, loving, and pet-friendly environment both in my home and in my client’s home. I live in a very dog-friendly building where many of my neighbors have pets, and there’s a park right in front of my building where I take dogs on regular walks and make sure they get lots of fresh air and exercise. At home, pets are always treated like part of the family. My siblings and I all genuinely love animals, so there are always caring and responsible people around to give them attention, play with them, and make sure they feel comfortable and happy. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions from the owner. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet feels safe by keeping things consistent with their usual routine. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, cared for, and loved, no matter where they are!
About: In my home country, I have a 10-year-old golden retriever. It came to my home when it was still a baby. I am well aware of every stage of the dog's life, from the baby stage to the old age stage, and I have a certain understanding of each stage. Currently, I am studying in Canada. I miss my dog very much, but due to the complexity of the flight procedures, I didn't choose to get a dog. Because I want to be responsible for the dogs. They are like family members and cannot be abandoned. During the three summer vacations in Canada (a total of 12 months), I took care of one cat and two dogs for my friends respectively. This gave me rich experience in pet care in Canada. My friends always trust me implicitly because I will update the status of their pets and pay attention to their needs. I really enjoy the feeling of having pets around me. Please entrust me with it! I am currently a student with no other job, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pet. Even when I attend classes (2.5h), my partner will be at home to ensure your pet is well cared for. I provide photo updates 3–5 times a day so you can feel completely at ease. There is also a pet-friendly park right downstairs, perfect for daily walks and playtime. I will create a healthy and comfortable area for the dogs. If you have multiple dogs at home, I can also take them in at the same time.
“Esther did a great job looking after our two cats while we were away. She is a competent and conscientious sitter and even gave Jasper his pill. The cats both liked her and I felt very comfortable knowing that Esther was looking after them. I wouldn't hesitate to engage her again.”

About: I absolutely adore cats, and caring for them brings me immense joy. My husband and I have had two adorable cats together, Zosya and Boun, and we’re big-time cat lovers! While we're not quite ready to adopt another furry friend just yet, we truly miss having a little dough kneader around the house. That’s why we’d be so happy to care for your kitties! We have extensive experience and know exactly what it takes to keep a cat feeling safe, cozy, and content. There's nothing better than getting to know their quirky, silly personalities and spending time playing and bonding. Along with having cats of my own, I’ve also helped out friends and family with cat-sitting, so your feline is in good hands! My husband and I both work from home as software developers so we'll be around to give your cat the attention that he/she deserves. We'll make sure to follow the feeding schedule you require and any other requirements. I live in a 2 bedroom condo with plenty of space and light. All my plants are cat safe. Your cat will be kept indoor in the condo at all times

About: Love & caring (feeding, play, dog walks) different sizes of dogs with their unique personalities. Experienced with positive reinforcement training and handling puppies and non-reactive/agressive adult dogs. I am currently WFH so will have plenty of time with your pup and always keep you with frequent updates. I usually take my Border Collie boy for a walk twice a day in the neighborhoods, and out for longer trails (or beaches) one or two times a week further north. I live in a condo with big living room space for activities, and potty pads always accessible so there’s no need for your pup to hold the pee anytime (if they are already potty trained), even in between the potty breaks taken outdoor. I have a friendly and trained 40lbs border collie boy as a good company at home and play pen/crate are there in case they need a little space for themselves. For dog walks, depending on the dog size, activity level and personality, I can drive/take them to off leash trails, hikes, or easy neighborhood walks.
“My dog, Gordo, enjoyed Connor's company. Connor is trust worthy, friendly, accommodating, followed the care instructions I left for Gordo and updated me regularly. Gordo is a large, 100 lb, stubborn Old English Bulldog and Connor took good care of him, taking in to consideration the tips I provided for his care. (if you have a large, stubborn dog - you will understand why care tips are important) I will rebook with Connor.”

Frederica dropped in on Berlin and took him for a walk, and provided lots of cute photos and updates as she arrived, fed him, and left. I was stress-free leaving my big dog with her because she was kind enough to pop by for a meet and greet the day before, even though the booking was last minute. Berlin had the best time and will see you again soon!

Terrence was great! He came to my house twice a day for five days to walk and care for my dog while I was away. He sent regular updates and photos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. My dog was clearly very happy and well cared for—and when I got back, I could see how excited he was to see Terrence again. I would definitely book him again.

Arya took such great care of my puppy and kept me updated the entire time. She was gentle, patient, and very attentive. My puppy felt comfortable with her. I really appreciated the frequent updates and photos — it gave me so much peace of mind. Truly dependable, and I’m very pleased with her service.
Hazel is almost 13 and this was the first time I have used a dog walking service. I was nervous. I felt better immediately when I met Ali for the "meet and greet". I was out for a long day yesterday and Ali came twice to walk and feed and visit with Hazel. I got messages and photos after each visit and came home to a happy dog. I am very pleased with Ali and hope to continue long term with his services.

Laura did a great job with Bobo and Lala! Taking care of a 5-month-old puppy can be challenging, but she handled it really well. Lala (the puppy) had a small accident in the crate, but she cleaned it up right away. I really appreciate her coming over to keep my dogs company while I was at work. Overall, very satisfied with her service and would definitely book again!

Emma definitely has a way with animals . My extremely shy Maui sat in her lap first visit ! That’s really good vibes. She was extremely patient with Ruby who can be a handful of a dog . I felt like my pets were more than taken care of. She followed my instructions perfectly and had excellent communication skills . 1000% will hire again

This was my first time using Rover and Tania was my first sitter. As anyone would be, I was nervous. I wasn’t sure how trustworthy or how this all worked. I am so happy I choose Rover and most importantly I choose Tania. She was absolutely wonderful. She stayed in touch, followed instructions, sent pictures of everything, and most importantly my cats loved her. They are super shy and don’t like strangers but they were so at ease with Tania and came out to see her at every visit. I am so happy I choose Tania and would recommend her highly!! I will be booking her again 100%.

I’m so grateful Michelle was able to come by last minute for our new pup. He’s been home only 3 days and we are still keeping him in the crate when alone until we know he won’t destroy everything haha so having Michelle agree to see him was really helpful! She was a great communicator and Wiley seemed to really enjoy his visit!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
