About: Love & caring (feeding, play, dog walks) different sizes of dogs with their unique personalities. Experienced with positive reinforcement training and handling puppies and non-reactive/agressive adult dogs. I am currently WFH so will have plenty of time with your pup and always keep you with frequent updates. I usually take my Border Collie boy for a walk twice a day in the neighborhoods, and out for longer trails (or beaches) one or two times a week further north. I live in a condo with big living room space for activities, and potty pads always accessible so there’s no need for your pup to hold the pee anytime (if they are already potty trained), even in between the potty breaks taken outdoor. I have a friendly and trained 40lbs border collie boy as a good company at home and play pen/crate are there in case they need a little space for themselves. For dog walks, depending on the dog size, activity level and personality, I can drive/take them to off leash trails, hikes, or easy neighborhood walks.
About: From the moment they enter our world/life till the moment they cross the rainbow bridge, I've learned so much from these beautiful creatures we adopt into our family. My latest family dog, an energetic and excited border collie, helped me truly understand the importance of stability, love, exercise, and play, especially for energetic or working dog breeds. From puppy to senior care, I've done it all and loved being the two-legged buddy to our furry friends! After moving out to university, I've found myself ending up, in one way or another, fostering cats that have unfortunately ended up with nowhere else to go. Knowing I couldn't turn away a soul in need, I've learned so much more about cats, especially when they're in a new environment/ around new people. Showing stability, consistency, love, and respect has so far earned me beautiful bonds with every cat I've spent time with, whether in my own home or in the homes of others. I'm confident I can take care of your little loved ones and hopefully make your stay away from your home and pet(s) at least a little bit easier! I currently work from home / online, so I can be available any day / time to care for your pet. For overnights / if you'd like me to stay for multiple days, I would bring my laptop to work (I do not use audio / video for my job). So really, the flexibility of my current schedule would likely make booking me easier for you! Since I live in a basement apartment (with 2 cats), I wouldn't be available to offer services out of my own home. However, I make it a habit to take care of daily hygiene (eg. cleaning litter boxes, brushing, nail clipping depending on temperament, etc.), feeding according to instructions and schedules, and ensuring pets get an adequate amount of play and exercise. I've found that the more play and activity an animal does during the day can greatly impact their temperament and sleep.
About: I've been a dog training & walking for 10 years, it's what I love to do. Being able to make a difference for a family handle their own dog, improving the dynamics in the home makes me happy. I also enjoy working with kids, helping them gain confidence, letting them know they have the ability to manage and dog breed from small to large. I have a 7yr old special needs child and a 2yr old Pitty/Bully mix (adopted from the Toronto Humane Society) I've taught him to teach our dog basics commands (sit, down, come, paw, go down a slide...etc...) In my home, when I brush my teeth I will brush my dogs teeth. When I walk he walks with me. When I nap or exercise, my dog will be with me doing the same thing. This works for us because this is our routine. With dogs in my care, I do my best to maintain the routine they are used to within their home. I find this helps keep them more relaxed and happy when I am with them. I will also keep all activities and encounters within their tolerance level. When I am walking a dog, I do my best to ensure the dogs physical and mental needs are being met. Physical needs by walking and playtime. Mental needs by socializing and training. Above all this, my #1 priority is safety. I will never put a dog into a situation where they don't feel safe. Also, dog have different needs based on their breed, personality, size and medical condition. Because of this every walk with me will be customized to satisfy their needs in a way that works for them.
“My dog, Gordo, enjoyed Connor's company. Connor is trust worthy, friendly, accommodating, followed the care instructions I left for Gordo and updated me regularly. Gordo is a large, 100 lb, stubborn Old English Bulldog and Connor took good care of him, taking in to consideration the tips I provided for his care. (if you have a large, stubborn dog - you will understand why care tips are important) I will rebook with Connor.”

“Steffany was an amazing dog sitter. She went above and beyond even when I sent her to the wrong address by accident. She took great care of my dog and we are very happy with her service. I wouldn’t hesitate to call her again and would highly recommend.”

About: Hi, I’m Jason! I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was 11, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Over the years I’ve helped care for my sister’s cat and my roommate’s dog — feeding, walking, and making sure they feel safe and loved. I live in a clean apartment in North York with no pets or children, so it’s a calm space for your pet to relax. I’m careful with routines, doors, and feeding schedules, and I always follow owner instructions. I work full-time but have free time after 6 pm and on weekends — perfect for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. I love keeping owners updated with photos and messages, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. I work full-time but have free time after 6pm and on weekends. I usually spend that time outdoors or relaxing, so it’s easy for me to fit in walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting. I enjoy being around animals, so I don’t mind spending extra time playing or keeping them company. I live in a clean apartment and always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m careful with doors, leashes, and feeding routines, and I follow whatever rules the owner sets. I’ve helped care for my roommate’s dog and my sister’s cat for years, so I know how to keep pets calm and happy in different situations.
About: Hi, I’m Maurice. I grew up in the Netherlands and growing up my family fostered rescue dogs from Spain, so I’m used to all kinds of personalities—shy, anxious, high-energy, or reactive. I stay calm, read body language, and give dogs time to feel safe around me. I live in North York and keep routines steady: on-leash walks, fresh water, meds or meals as directed, doors locked, and harness/collar checks before every walk. No off-leash or dog parks unless you ask me to, and we can always try a short walk together first, to see if the dog is responsive to me. You’ll get clear updates each visit. I’m comfortable with large breeds, senior dogs, and pets with quirks or reactivity. I follow your training cues and your household rules. I’m currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time for your pets. I’m usually available weekends and weekday afternoons (after 2pm), but I’m happy to adjust—just reach out. Most bookings happen in your home so pets stay relaxed in their routine. I’m calm, tidy, respectful of your space, and happy to do a meet-and-greet first.
About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies, senior dogs and everything in between. I look at the dog's body language and adjust as needed. I'm also very mindful of your furry friend's food allergies or sensitivities. And I love to support any training that you already have going on. I have my own almost 2 year old sassy girl. My default though, for walks and in home visits will be to attend without her so that your doggy gets 100% of my attention. If you’d like to have a playmate for your dog though, let me know and I’ll be happy to bring her (she loves playing or walking with other dogs). I'm available for walks or drop-in visits (I try to keep my calendar up to date). I have my own doggy, but I love helping other dog owners when I can, since my schedule is usually flexible. I am in a pet-friendly condo, so I'm very mindful of taking dogs out frequently for their needs. I'm also very mindful of behavioural issues like resource guarding or reactivity.
About: In my home country, I have a 10-year-old golden retriever. It came to my home when it was still a baby. I am well aware of every stage of the dog's life, from the baby stage to the old age stage, and I have a certain understanding of each stage. Currently, I am studying in Canada. I miss my dog very much, but due to the complexity of the flight procedures, I didn't choose to get a dog. Because I want to be responsible for the dogs. They are like family members and cannot be abandoned. During the three summer vacations in Canada (a total of 12 months), I took care of one cat and two dogs for my friends respectively. This gave me rich experience in pet care in Canada. My friends always trust me implicitly because I will update the status of their pets and pay attention to their needs. I really enjoy the feeling of having pets around me. Please entrust me with it! I am currently a student with no other job, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pet. Even when I attend classes (2.5h), my partner will be at home to ensure your pet is well cared for. I provide photo updates 3–5 times a day so you can feel completely at ease. There is also a pet-friendly park right downstairs, perfect for daily walks and playtime. I will create a healthy and comfortable area for the dogs. If you have multiple dogs at home, I can also take them in at the same time.

I’m especially attentive, gentle, and reliable, and I treat every pet like part of the family. I’m a full-time mom, and after dropping my children off at school each day, I spend most of my time at home. I’m available to provide pet care services daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. My townhouse is pet-friendly and offers about 1,000 square feet of bright, comfortable living space, giving your pet a clean and cozy environment to relax in. We both work from home which makes sure the dogs is always given full attention and care. PET CARE EXPERIENCE I believe pets are not just animals — they are family. Anyone who loves animals understands that they are companions who bring joy, comfort, and personality into our lives. As a dog lover and owner of two dogs myself, I understand both a pet’s needs and the concerns that owners have when trusting someone else with their furry family members. With nearly 12 years of experience caring for my own dogs, I’m very familiar with their routines, behavior, and the attention they need to stay happy and healthy. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Your fluffy companion will always receive plenty of attention, patience, and affection in my care. WHAT I OFFER 🐾 Dog Walks Walks are often the highlight of a dog’s day. With years of experience walking my own dogs, I understand how important it is for them to explore, exercise, and enjoy their surroundings. I make sure each walk is safe, enjoyable, and suited to your dog’s energy level. 🐾 Drop-In Visits Leaving pets alone for long periods can be stressful for both pets and owners. During drop-in visits I make sure your pet gets their meals on time, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and attention so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. 🐾 House Sitting Traveling can be difficult when you’re worried about your pet. Instead of moving them to an unfamiliar boarding environment, I can stay in your home and care for them where they feel most comfortable. This helps maintain their normal routine and reduces stress while you’re away. MY REQUIREMENTS To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets, I kindly ask for: • Up-to-date vaccinations • Honest disclosure of your pet’s behavior, temperament, likes, and dislikes • Any feeding instructions, medications, or special care needs COMMUNICATION Please feel free to message me anytime if you have questions or would like to arrange a meet-and-greet. I’d love to get to know you and your furry family member! I work from home and live with my partner who also works from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, I can easily follow your pet’s usual schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and bathroom breaks. My flexible routine allows me to make sure pets are not left alone for long periods and that they receive the care, attention, and companionship they need during the day. I live in a clean, pet-friendly condo with plenty of nearby parks and green spaces that are perfect for safe and enjoyable walks. Pets staying with me are treated like family — they are welcome on the furniture and even the bed if that’s something they are used to at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to respect their space while maintaining the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for whether they are staying with me or I am caring for them in their own home.

“Riley took great care of my cat during the drop-in visits! She was very attentive, communicative, and made sure my cat was well looked after while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and photos. I would definitely book with her again!”

“We booked another day for Nicole to watch Zoey while we visited a friend outside Toronto and things went just as smoothly! Nicole is punctual, friendly, and sends plenty of photo updates. Zoey was excited to see her again!”

About: I have been around dogs from an early age, caring for both large breeds like German Shepherds and small dogs like Maltese through family and friends. I gained the most hands-on experience when I raised my own dog, Coco, from puppyhood. I learned to handle everything from potty training to teaching basic commands like sit and stay. Through this, I learned that dogs need patience, consistency, and a calm, attentive owner who can understand their individual needs. In addition, I volunteered at Carefree Lodge retirement home, where I worked with residents with cognitive conditions such as Alzheimer’s. This experience taught me how to adapt to different personalities and situations with patience and empathy. I believe that these skills would translate well into caring for pets, as every animal is unique. My experience working with children at camps and at a therapeutic horseback riding facility (CARD) has also strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, think quickly, and problem-solve in dynamic situations. I truly believe every pet deserves attentive, responsive care, and I would be happy to provide that for yours.. I I am currently on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days, with limited availability on Mondays, Saturday afternoons, and Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, when I may be working or volunteering for 2–6 hours. I am fully available on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Wednesdays for full-time pet care, including overnight stays if needed. A dog needing to be walked is always in my view a top priority, and I adjust those walks based on each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s a short 10-minute walk or a longer, more active one. When indoors, I stay attentive and present, while also respecting your dog’s space. I like to remain nearby so I can monitor how they are doing, but I allow them to approach me for attention at their own pace. I believe every dog, like every person, benefits from having both companionship and personal space, when wanted. I am also comfortable with crating and feeding your dog if requested, and will follow any agreed-upon routines and schedules. Most importantly, I carefully follow all owner instructions to ensure your pet receives the exact care, comfort, and attention they need while in my care.
About: Hi there! My name is Hannah. I've taken care of pets since I was 12 but I never really knew what it felt like to have a dog until I got mine 4 years ago. From the moment my male Golden Retriever turned two months, I have been his primary caretaker. Feeding, bathing, walking, training, and loving were all done by me! I give him his medication and I have mastered the art of getting sweet dogs to taking their meds. He’s home in my home country and I miss him so much. I will love on my dog by loving yours. ❣️ I have experience in senior care and sick dog care. I am not fussy when it comes to bodily fluids or special conditions :) My weekends are free and I have plenty of free time during the weekdays, especially if you live close by! I love waking up early in the morning and going for a walk. I am well-experienced due to my time with my own dog. I am responsible and organized, but I will respect your own boundaries. I will love on your dog the way I love mine.
Willowdale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Frederica dropped in on Berlin and took him for a walk, and provided lots of cute photos and updates as she arrived, fed him, and left. I was stress-free leaving my big dog with her because she was kind enough to pop by for a meet and greet the day before, even though the booking was last minute. Berlin had the best time and will see you again soon!

Terrence was great! He came to my house twice a day for five days to walk and care for my dog while I was away. He sent regular updates and photos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. My dog was clearly very happy and well cared for—and when I got back, I could see how excited he was to see Terrence again. I would definitely book him again.

Arya took such great care of my puppy and kept me updated the entire time. She was gentle, patient, and very attentive. My puppy felt comfortable with her. I really appreciated the frequent updates and photos — it gave me so much peace of mind. Truly dependable, and I’m very pleased with her service.
Hazel is almost 13 and this was the first time I have used a dog walking service. I was nervous. I felt better immediately when I met Ali for the "meet and greet". I was out for a long day yesterday and Ali came twice to walk and feed and visit with Hazel. I got messages and photos after each visit and came home to a happy dog. I am very pleased with Ali and hope to continue long term with his services.

Laura did a great job with Bobo and Lala! Taking care of a 5-month-old puppy can be challenging, but she handled it really well. Lala (the puppy) had a small accident in the crate, but she cleaned it up right away. I really appreciate her coming over to keep my dogs company while I was at work. Overall, very satisfied with her service and would definitely book again!

Emma definitely has a way with animals . My extremely shy Maui sat in her lap first visit ! That’s really good vibes. She was extremely patient with Ruby who can be a handful of a dog . I felt like my pets were more than taken care of. She followed my instructions perfectly and had excellent communication skills . 1000% will hire again

This was my first time using Rover and Tania was my first sitter. As anyone would be, I was nervous. I wasn’t sure how trustworthy or how this all worked. I am so happy I choose Rover and most importantly I choose Tania. She was absolutely wonderful. She stayed in touch, followed instructions, sent pictures of everything, and most importantly my cats loved her. They are super shy and don’t like strangers but they were so at ease with Tania and came out to see her at every visit. I am so happy I choose Tania and would recommend her highly!! I will be booking her again 100%.

I’m so grateful Michelle was able to come by last minute for our new pup. He’s been home only 3 days and we are still keeping him in the crate when alone until we know he won’t destroy everything haha so having Michelle agree to see him was really helpful! She was a great communicator and Wiley seemed to really enjoy his visit!
