About: I’m Erica! I’m really looking forward to working with you and meeting your fur babies! I’m always willing to meet you and your pet(s) at no cost, before I do drop-ins or house sitting. I have grown up with EVERY kind of animal possible! Dogs, cats, lizards, chinchilla, hedgehog, hamsters, Guinea pigs… the list goes on. I've always been involved in the caring and training for the animals in my family. I have lots of experience administering medications, cleaning cages, caring for hyper animals, being very patient, cleaning accidents (the right way), and being an overall loving and compassionate companion for all animals. Whether big or small, your pet(s) will be loved and cared for with patience, compassion, and respect. My goal is to make your pet feel calm, loved, cared for, and receives all the scratches and cuddles they want. I am available to visit for a free consultation at your convenience and/or for house sitting weekdays after 5:30 and weekends any time. I have my own vehicle and am available for all kinds of sitting, whether it’s a long walk, a pee break, or full on house sitting and companionship. Love, compassion, patience, and respect. I will treat your pets as my own. I am always respectful of personal boundaries and any safety precautions put in place. Should any situation arise, I am very calm and resolute and will call you and any necessary emergency services that are required, as well as the Rover service itself. Your pet and their safety and care always comes first, and I am happy to help around the house as needed in respect to cleanliness, changing litter, or cleaning cages.

About: Spending time with animals has always come naturally to me, which is what led me to pet sitting. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from playful huskies to tiny toy poodles, as well as plenty of affectionate cats. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible work from home schedule so I’m very flexible with fitting in walks during the day and meeting the unique needs of your pet! I have a spacious deck and backyard, and a dog-friendly park with a huge field near my house that leads to a beautiful trail perfect for walks! Indoors, pets are welcome anywhere in the main floor of my house and in my finished basement. My sister and I usually work together as a team to care for pets when I’m at home.

About: Ive had a genuine love for pets since childhood. Even with having multiple cats at home, I would still find cats outside and bring them home to give them food and water. My friends have also trusted me with their pets due to my experience, and Ive never really met a pet that didn't like me as well. I care for my own pets (2 Russian blue cats), in between being a musician. I embrace their healing properties (Like their purring, that is even used for acoustic therapy for bone healing in humans!), I enjoy educating myself about what they need to thrive. My 2 cats (mom and her son) keep each other company daily, they both enjoy going outside but the little one only roams in the backyard when he feels like running around and munching on grass.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 10 years, including puppies, seniors, and those with special needs. Friends and neighbors trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and even help train their pets. I’m attentive, gentle, and always treat every animal like my own. I currently work part-time and spend most of my day at home with my American Akita. This gives me plenty of time to care for your pup with attention and patience. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care, especially on evenings and weekends. I live in a spacious and pet-friendly condo with secure access and quiet surroundings. My American Akita is well-socialized and calm, great with other dogs under supervision. I always prioritize your pet’s safety — walks are on-leash, I follow your feeding and care instructions exactly, and I can crate if needed.

About: Caring for my own elderly, reactive dog has given me years of hands-on experience with patience, training, and understanding different canine personalities. Because of this, I’m especially attentive to dogs who may be anxious, sensitive, or need a little extra time to warm up. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language, reinforcing positive behaviors, and making sure each dog feels safe and supported while in my care. I also love staying active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks, exploring new trails, and finding fun outdoor adventures that match each dog’s energy level. Whether your pup prefers a relaxing stroll or a longer hike, I’m happy to tailor the experience to what they enjoy most. I work part-time and remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pet throughout the day. I can provide walks, check-ins, feeding, and playtime as needed, and I’m happy to accommodate early mornings or evenings (early bird and night owl here!). Because I work from home, I’m able to offer consistent attention and companionship so your pet feels comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I can provide comprehensive care in your home or during walks. I have experience handling feeding, playtime, training and walks, and I can also assist with bathing, transportation to vet appointments, or any additional tasks that help keep your pet comfortable and well cared for! My ultimate goal is to provide attentive care and all the love tailored to your furry friend's individual needs, whether that means energetic outdoor adventures or calm companionship at home.

About: Hi there, my name is Ella☺️ I’m a responsible, attentive, and patient caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I take safety and routine very seriously and always follow owners’ instructions closely. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable approach and strong communication. I provide regular updates and photos, keep a clean and safe environment, and make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for in their own routine. I’m especially mindful with shy, anxious, or senior pets, giving them the time and gentle attention they need. I’m also happy to learn each pet’s specific habits, feeding schedule, and potty routine to ensure consistency. I may be newer to professional pet sitting, but I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and genuinely committed to providing loving care. I teach yoga and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around pet visits, feeding times, playtime, and potty breaks. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to give pets unrushed attention, follow their routines closely, and accommodate mid-day visits or extended stays when needed. I enjoy providing calm, attentive care and making sure each pet feels comfortable and well looked after. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow all pet care instructions carefully, whether at your home or mine, and maintain a clean, secure environment at all times. For in-home visits, I make sure doors and windows are securely closed, pets are never left unattended in unsafe spaces, and their routine is followed closely to reduce stress. I also provide daily updates and photos so you can see that your pet is safe, happy, and cared for. If hosting pets in my home (boarding), I ensure the space is pet-friendly, calm, and comfortable, with separate areas for feeding, litter, and rest if needed. I supervise pets, keep hazardous items out of reach, and maintain a safe, hygienic environment.

About: Although I’ve never had my own dog, I’ve taken care of my friends’ pets many times. They would happily give a reference (the dogs) lol. I’m currently working part time and soon I will be quitting my job so I can have more free time to enjoy my summer before starting dental school in the fall. That said, I would very much enjoy a nice walk in the warm weather with a little friend to enjoy it with. I can easily accommodate to any dog’s need, allowing them to be free in the comfort of their own home or in designated areas that their owners allow them to be ;)

About: Hi! We're a couple who works from home, with a private fenced yard and Canine First Aid certification between us. We've worked in pet hotels, animal welfare, grown up with dogs and cats, and spent years learning what it actually means to care for an animal well. We know leaving them isn't easy, so we make sure their stay is actually something to wag about. Morning walks, afternoon adventures, cozy evenings, real attention, real fun, and a routine that works for them. Less boarding, more a fun and relaxing vacation in a peaceful environment. 🐾 No two stays look the same Every animal has their own personality, quirks, and breed needs, we pay close attention to all of it and adjust how we care for them accordingly. ~ High energy? We'll hit the trails ~ Curious sniffer? We know every good sniffari spot in the neighbourhood ~ Homebodies? A cozy sofa, a sunny backyard, lots of cuddles, and zero pressure to do anything else ~ Senior or recovering? Gentle walks, quiet days, and all the comfort they deserve ~ Puppy? We take their development seriously, structured nap schedules, basic manners, and plenty of the right kind of stimulation for their age Every day starts with a morning walk and potty break, ends with a final outing before bed, and everything in between is theirs, adventures, cuddles, enrichment activities, and plenty of rest. Meals follow your routine, so their days stay consistent even when they're away from home. Some days are filled with high energy, others call for rest. We follow their lead, keep them stimulated, and make sure they always have company. 👥 Two of us, all day With two of us working from home, there's always someone tuned in, whether that means joining us on an adventure or simply always having a calm, present companion at home. We follow their rhythm, walks when they're ready, rest when they need it, play when they want it. We read their energy, pick up on the small things, and cater to them based on who they actually are, not just their breed or age, but their whole character. Every dog and cat that comes through our door gets the full experience, attention, care, and affection. We treat them like family, making sure they're physically exercised, mentally stimulated, and feeling right at home. 🏡 A real home, not a kennel Our home is pet proofed, quiet and calm. No other dogs, cats, or kids, just us and Marble, our 30 year wise old aquatic turtle. We take the settling in period seriously and give every dog the space and time they need to feel at home before anything else. 🛡️ Safety first, always We're both Canine First Aid & CPR certified and hyper aware on every walk, outing, and adventure. We know how to spot early signs of distress and respond calmly. Every dog walks on a secure leash, and we're always reading the environment, giving space when needed, avoiding situations before they start, and making sure every outing feels safe and stress free for your dog. 📸 You'll always know how they're doing Expect photos, videos, and updates throughout their stay, the silly moments, the sleepy ones, and everything in between. Outside of pet care, we work in videography, and we know that the memories we have of our pets end up meaning more than we ever expected. So we're always happy to offer a film keepsake session with you and your fur baby. Because it's always you behind the camera, but never in the picture. Just let us know. 🏡 Come say hi first We always start with a meet and greet to make sure they're comfortable, and we're happy to arrange trial stays for animals who need a little extra time to warm up. We want it to feel right for them too.

About: I’ve always absolutely loved dogs. When I was little, I’d visit my aunt in Florida every summer—she had five dogs, and I’d be completely in love with them the entire time. That’s when my deep love for dogs began. Later, in university, I adopted my first dog from the humane society. Her name was Clover, and she was a sweet little mix of Chihuahua and dachshund. She became my best friend. When she passed away, I moved to Vancouver and started dog-sitting, which I absolutely loved. I used Rover all the time—it was the perfect way to express my love for dogs after my girl passed, without committing to another pet just yet. I met so many wonderful pups of all sizes and breeds and loved building relationships with each of them. Now that I’m back in Ontario and settled in, I’ve decided to re-offer my services. I also worked at a doggy daycare in Toronto, where I got to see the pure joy in dogs’ faces as they reunited with their friends every day, and the love in their owners’ faces when they picked them up at the end of the day. I just love dogs so much, and I truly understand how important they are to us. They’re family, and I take that to heart in everything I do. I can’t wait to give your pup all the tail-wagging love and companionship they deserve! Note: I also have lots of experience taking care of senior pups, as well as training little ones. I currently work from home so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule. I would be with your pup the entire time, to keep them company :) I am very open to hearing what works best for your pup in terms of caring for your dog in your home or mine. I know how big pups are with their routine and would be more than happy to make sure their routine is maintained with all the love possible.

Rachel is an incredible, responsible, and truly loving sitter! She provided a wealth of updates during every visit and communicated even the smallest details she observed, which gave us such peace of mind. It was clear she spent plenty of quality time playing with Chance and Cathy, ensuring they felt happy and engaged. From the very first meeting, Rachel was diligent about taking notes on their care and built a bond with them almost instantly. I cannot recommend her highly enough and truly hope to have her back the next time we are away!

Sophia is such a dedicated and responsible sitter—I actually want to give her a 10 out of 5! She did a pre-drop-in visit and patiently listened to all my concerns as a first-time Rover user worried about leaving my two babies home alone. My dog, Chance, is an almost 90lb Labrador who is wary of strangers, but Sophia was incredibly capable of building trust with him. She even brought toys from her own home to play with him! She also bonded with my cat, Cathy, very well. Sophia sent numerous photos and videos during her visits and even insisted on walking Chance despite the cold weather. She is truly passionate about animals and very observant. For example, she noticed Cathy had moved her cat bed and asked if she should put it back. She even picked up a delivery for us that arrived earlier than expected! It was a pleasure working with Sophia. Chance and Cathy like her a lot, and I cannot wait to have her watch them again during my next trip.
