Hao’s home is perfectly set up for dogs, especially his spacious backyard, where Miley had plenty of room to run, explore, and play. It was clear she was getting not just supervision, but genuine attention, exercise, and affection. When we picked her up, she was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. Hao truly went above and beyond, and it’s obvious he treats the pets he watches like family. He came to check on Ray and my house within 30 minutes of my request before agreeing to it. He understood my instructions perfectly. He was also flexible enough to accommodate my request to change the time on the first day. For the actual service, he arrived right on time and took care of Ray as instructed, sending me pictures to reassure us. On the second day, he cleaned the litter box, communicated with me, and went upstairs to check on Ray to make sure he was okay. I have more than 15 years experience in pet ownership as the primary caregiver but I have lived with pets my entire life. I was a volunteer at the Toronto humane society for over 5 years in the feline department where I was given training on behavioural issues in cats. I can successfully administer various types of medication with ease and gentle care. I promise to provide lots of love and care to your pets and provide you with plenty of photo and video updates to put your mind at ease. In my spare time, I volunteer with Eddie’s Network, which helps reunite lost dogs with their owners. My wife and I provide a true 'home away from home' where your pet will receive constant companionship and genuine affection. We aren't just watching your pet; we are welcoming them into our home. I have a very pet-friendly routine! I am home for the vast majority of the day, only stepping out for about 2–3 hours at most. This means plenty of potty breaks, backyard playtime, and companionship for your dog or cat. My wife is also home in the evenings, so there is almost always someone around to provide cuddles and keep an eye on our furry guests. In our home, safety and exercise go hand-in-hand. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, sniff, and play under my direct supervision. I never leave guest pets unattended outdoors, ensuring they are always secure while getting their fresh air and exercise. Inside, our home is pet-proofed and calm. Because I am home for the vast majority of the day, your pet is under nearly constant supervision. When I do step out for a quick 2–3 hour window, pets are kept in a secure, comfortable area to ensure they stay safe and relaxed. We treat every guest with the same care and caution we’ve given our own pets for decades.
