About: I love all types of animals. I know how to train little puppies and I’m pretty sure I did a great job in training my own fur baby! I will make sure to keep them busy and active. I am fully experienced in administering medications for both dogs and cats. Always on top of cleaning their food and water bowl and providing fresh water and make sure they have full and easy access to food and water at all times. Fully experienced with bathing small dogs. Comfortable taking dogs for a walk. Also, my favourite activities are puppy yoga, cat yoga, goat yoga and visiting animal farms and sanctuaries. At the moment, I have a full time job. I am free after 6:00PM on weekdays and fully available on weekends. I love to spend my free times with animals. Caring for pets in my house or a client’s house involves various tasks such as feeding, providing fresh water, exercising, grooming, and cleaning up after them. Additionally, offering companionship and attention to ensure their well-being and happiness is essential. It is very important to follow any specific instructions provided by the pet owner regarding their routines, dietary needs, medications, and any special requirements. Regular communication with the owner about the pet’s behavior and any concerns is also important for maintaining trust and ensuring the best care possible.
“I’m a repeat customer of Wendy’s because she takes the time to try and engage my cat. She’s also an excellent communicator so I never worry while I’m away. I recommend her highly!”

About: I've been dog walking and spending time with pets my entire life. I started walking my neighbor's golden when I was a kid and I loved getting to spend time outside with such a wonderful companion. I love exploring nature almost as much as dogs themselves. I'm currently in school that is hybrid (most courses are online) which keeps my day to day schedule pretty flexible. I'm good for early morning walks/visits as early as 7am and can also do late nights if need be. I am a tidy person. I recognize I'm only entering your home to care for your pet I am happy to follow any house rules just let me know.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since age 9. From small ones such as birds and fish to cats and dogs. I currently own a Bengal cat, but have previously owned a cocker spaniel, Doberman, and pitbull. I have also dealt with animals that have separation anxiety. I currently work for myself so I am able to create my own schedule. I currently have a lot of free time during weekdays and some evenings. I don’t offer pet stays at my place. However, if I am in your home, just let me know the house rules and we’re good to go! :)

“Rachel came and visited my pups. She let them out to play and have potty breaks. My dogs take time to warm up but honestly it didn’t take more than 5 minutes and my pups loved her. I will be booking her on a more consistent basis. She is so loving and warm. I highly recommend her to anyone with their babies”

“Haukiu and her partner Johnson did awesome drop-in visits for our 3 cats! Super communication and posted pictures for us on each visit. Helped us enjoy our vacation knowing our girls were being well taken care of. Would definitely recommend!!”

About: Hi! My name is Crystal and I’m excited to be your next pet-sitter! I have always loved caring for the pets of friends and family and I want to extend that care to your pets. I have experience with a diverse range of pet personalities from anxious to very charismatic. I have walked and looked after the dogs of friends and family, being a trusted guardian in those days where they just needed a little extra support in caring for their furry friend. I’ve also always loved cats but ever since being a cat aunt, I’ve fallen in love with cat sitting! I look forward to caring for your loved one, dogs and cats alike :) Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have, I’m always happy to chat. I’m currently a graduate student pursuing my second Master’s of Science! I completed my MSc in Medical Genetics at UBC in 2025 and am working towards finishing a degree in Genetic Counselling. As a busy student, I find joy in the little moments that I get to spend with others pets and caring for them. I fit pet-sitting into my schedule by visiting in the early morning and evenings. I tend to be flexible Tuesdays, Thursdays, and during the weekends. I will have conversations with you about what makes your pet the most comfortable and what signs or behaviours I should be mindful of. My first priority will always be to make sure your loved one is feeling safe and comfortable. Always happy to give frequent updates if owner wishes.
“Sophia is such a dedicated and responsible sitter—I actually want to give her a 10 out of 5! She did a pre-drop-in visit and patiently listened to all my concerns as a first-time Rover user worried about leaving my two babies home alone. My dog, Chance, is an almost 90lb Labrador who is wary of strangers, but Sophia was incredibly capable of building trust with him. She even brought toys from her own home to play with him! She also bonded with my cat, Cathy, very well. Sophia sent numerous photos and videos during her visits and even insisted on walking Chance despite the cold weather. She is truly passionate about animals and very observant. For example, she noticed Cathy had moved her cat bed and asked if she should put it back. She even picked up a delivery for us that arrived earlier than expected! It was a pleasure working with Sophia. Chance and Cathy like her a lot, and I cannot wait to have her watch them again during my next trip.”

About: I have been dog sitting and dog walking for over a decade, I have worked for local businesses as a dog walker, I’ve been a dog owner for almost 8 years, and I know what dog need, love, attention, lots of walking, lots of petting, and someone that will care for them just like they were their own. My work is in the evenings between 3 PM and 8:30 PM, so I have lots of time during the day and lots of time at night to make sure that your little one is walked well and will be taken care of during the day while you’re at work! Whether it’s at your home or my home, my focus will be primarily on your furry friend, in a safe and happy environment so that they feel comfortable and it’s easy for them to adjust. I live near Mill Pond as well, so it would be a great opportunity to get a big walk around the pond!
“Joey was an excellent sitter for our cats while we were away. She clearly explained her process from the start, took the time to learn our cats’ routines, and cared for them with real attention and affection. Her communication throughout was outstanding and kept us fully at ease. She’s very detail-oriented, sent plenty of great photos, and always made sure our cats were comfortable and happy. We truly appreciated how thoughtful and professional she was every step of the way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joey as a pet sitter and would gladly book her again in the future.”

“I apologize for my delayed review; I was busy catching up on my work. I was really pleased that Qian accepted my request, even though it was last minute. He came to check on Ray and my house within 30 minutes of my request before agreeing to it. He understood my instructions perfectly. He was also flexible enough to accommodate my request to change the time on the first day. For the actual service, he arrived right on time and took care of Ray as instructed, sending me pictures to reassure us. On the second day, he cleaned the litter box, communicated with me, and went upstairs to check on Ray to make sure he was okay. I'm very satisfied with the service and will definitely reach out again when I need pet sitting services.”

“This was my first experience hiring someone to watch over my cat and Sharon really went above and beyond. She was extremely flexible and thorough with her visit. She sent many pictures/videos and checked in with me often. She let me know when she will be arriving and when she was leaving. I was very comfortable having Sharon around due to her experience and really felt her loving and kind nature towards my cat when she visited before my trip. I will definitely be using her again! Thank you Sharon for taking such good care of my Peakie while I was away!”

About: Spending time with animals has always come naturally to me, which is what led me to pet sitting. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from playful huskies to tiny toy poodles, as well as plenty of affectionate cats. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible work from home schedule so I’m very flexible with fitting in walks during the day and meeting the unique needs of your pet! I have a spacious deck and backyard, and a dog-friendly park with a huge field near my house that leads to a beautiful trail perfect for walks! Indoors, pets are welcome anywhere in the main floor of my house and in my finished basement. My sister and I usually work together as a team to care for pets when I’m at home.
“Abby has been doing drop in visits with my pup, she is very kind, and helps out my dog Benji with filling his food/water, and taking him to potty. She sends pictures of him and Benji likes her a lot as well! Highly recommend :) She has been a life saver with the recent long hours im working!”

About: Ive had a genuine love for pets since childhood. Even with having multiple cats at home, I would still find cats outside and bring them home to give them food and water. My friends have also trusted me with their pets due to my experience, and Ive never really met a pet that didn't like me as well. I care for my own pets (2 Russian blue cats), in between being a musician. I embrace their healing properties (Like their purring, that is even used for acoustic therapy for bone healing in humans!), I enjoy educating myself about what they need to thrive. My 2 cats (mom and her son) keep each other company daily, they both enjoy going outside but the little one only roams in the backyard when he feels like running around and munching on grass.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 10 years, including puppies, seniors, and those with special needs. Friends and neighbors trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and even help train their pets. I’m attentive, gentle, and always treat every animal like my own. I currently work part-time and spend most of my day at home with my American Akita. This gives me plenty of time to care for your pup with attention and patience. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care, especially on evenings and weekends. I live in a spacious and pet-friendly condo with secure access and quiet surroundings. My American Akita is well-socialized and calm, great with other dogs under supervision. I always prioritize your pet’s safety — walks are on-leash, I follow your feeding and care instructions exactly, and I can crate if needed.
About: Hi there, my name is Ella☺️ I’m a responsible, attentive, and patient caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I take safety and routine very seriously and always follow owners’ instructions closely. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable approach and strong communication. I provide regular updates and photos, keep a clean and safe environment, and make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for in their own routine. I’m especially mindful with shy, anxious, or senior pets, giving them the time and gentle attention they need. I’m also happy to learn each pet’s specific habits, feeding schedule, and potty routine to ensure consistency. I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and genuinely committed to providing loving care.🐾 I teach yoga and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around pet visits, feeding times, playtime, and potty breaks. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to give pets unrushed attention, follow their routines closely, and accommodate mid-day visits or extended stays when needed. I enjoy providing calm, attentive care and making sure each pet feels comfortable and well looked after. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow all pet care instructions carefully, whether at your home or mine, and maintain a clean, secure environment at all times. For in-home visits, I make sure doors and windows are securely closed, pets are never left unattended in unsafe spaces, and their routine is followed closely to reduce stress. I also provide daily updates and photos so you can see that your pet is safe, happy, and cared for. If hosting pets in my home (boarding), I ensure the space is pet-friendly, calm, and comfortable, with separate areas for feeding, litter, and rest if needed. I supervise pets, keep hazardous items out of reach, and maintain a safe, hygienic environment.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Richmond Hill
Monica was an incredible first Rover experience for me. It was my first time leaving my kitten and Monica ensured she was safe and loved while I was gone. She was very communicative and reliable throughout the entire process. I would definitely want Monica to watch my kitten again and would recommend her to others!

Rachel was above and beyond! She walked me through using Rover (it was my first time). She sent me very detailed updates. She was sensitive and skilled in establishing a relationship with our cats. Even the cat who dislikes strangers would go up to her for petting. She made sure to inform me about every little thing and acted according to my instructions.

Grace was absolutely amazing! I trust her so much! She even drove by my house before the first visit to make sure she knew where it was (I wasn’t able to have access to my phone for the weekend) so this made me feel at ease. She updated my son with cute videos and made sure her she had lots of play time! She also filled her food and water as well as changed the litter! I’m glad Grace was there to care for Luna, as she is a kitten and was just recently adopted. Being left alone for the weekend would have been scary for her. Will definitely repeat 🔁 with Grace and I recommend her HIGHLY! Many thank you’s

If I could leave more then five stars I would, she was amazing with Leo, always on schedule always did more then what I expected, and Leo grew very comfortable with her very fast! I highly recommend Sanaz I will most definitely be using her again in the future! Amazing service
