About: Growing up with dogs since age 12 gave me a foundation in canine behavior and care. I've developed my skills by regularly walking, feeding, and bathing friends' dogs, including Labs, Huskies, Golden Retrievers, and Border Collies. My athletic background makes me uniquely suited for high-energy breeds. I've successfully worked with reactive dogs who need focused, one-on-one attention during walks. My running ability allows me to provide the intensive exercise these dogs need when off-leash time isn't suitable. Recently certified in Pet First Aid through Canadian Red Cross (July 2025). I also share my home with two cats (ages 2.5 and 1.5), so I'm comfortable with multi-pet households. I understand that energetic breeds need both physical exhaustion and mental stimulation to be truly satisfied, and I incorporate both into every walk. As an incoming grad student with a flexible timetable, I'm building my pet care business around my academic schedule. Currently available weekday afternoons from 3 PM onwards, with excellent availability through August. Once the fall semester begins, I'll maintain afternoon availability and may add morning slots depending on my class schedule. I'm committed to maintaining regular walking schedules with my clients and will provide advance notice of any schedule changes. During walks, I: - Keep dogs securely leashed unless in designated off-leash areas (with owner permission) - Carry Pet First Aid supplies and fresh water - Avoid busy roads when possible, preferring quieter residential streets and trails - Never walk more dogs than I can safely control - Send photo updates so you can see your pup having fun I maintain constant vigilance for potential hazards like aggressive dogs, traffic, or items dogs might ingest. With my Pet First Aid certification, I'm prepared to handle emergencies while immediately contacting both the owner and nearest vet if needed. My athletic ability ensures I can maintain control even with strong, excitable dogs, keeping your pet safe throughout our time together.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog since I was 10, and have also watched over friend’s dogs. I cared for him from a puppy to a senior, with different needs. I am mainly experienced with larger breeds but have also been around smaller breeds as well. I know how important it is for dogs to get exercised, and busy schedules can get in the way. I have a large forest nearby and also a large ravine backyard! Usually I would be able to drive over, or walk over if nearby. I am currently working part time remotely and am available for most of the day. In September, will be busy some mornings with university schedule. I am starting out with dog walking and looking to move to dog sitting or house sitting in the future. I have a large fenced yard and a forest just minutes away!

He came to check on Ray and my house within 30 minutes of my request before agreeing to it. He understood my instructions perfectly. For the actual service, he arrived right on time and took care of Ray as instructed, sending me pictures to reassure us. About: Expanding my services to dog walking :) Have been taking care of dogs for friends and have fostered one medium/large size dog. I really enjoy taking them on walks and watching them play at dog parks! I observe the behavior of the animals and try to understand their thoughts and intentions. I believe this way we see from their perspective rather than imposing our ideas on them. Currently I am not accepting pets into my own home as I have one cat who is terrified of dogs. However, I believe all pets deserve a safe environment and I do my best to provide that even if it is on dog walks / in dog parks.
