Elena was so friendly, reliable, and supremely cat-savvy. She was so patient and understanding with my cautious and anxious cat, never forcing affection and even bringing her own cat toys to play with her. Her updates and photos were also fantastic and detailed (she even picked up on my cats little habits in a couple of days that took me months to catch on). I feel so lucky that we were able to book David to look after our two cats, Pico and Minnow! We left town at the last minute and our usual cat sitters weren't available. David went above and beyond to ensure that he understood everything our cats might need while we were away. He asked questions we didn't even think of to make sure that he understood their dietary restrictions properly. He was extremely communicative, friendly, and always very responsive, sending us photos and updates while we were away. Our cats are pretty shy but he sent us photos showing them spending time with him. They were even asking for belly rubs. Our house was kept spotless and our cats were super happy when we came home. We will definitely book him next time we go away. We're both so happy we booked him through Rover!
Olivia took excellent care of my cat, Bunny. She meticulously followed the instructions provided and gave detailed notes about each visit. She was also quick to respond to messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Bunny tends to be shy around strangers, but she came out of hiding after just a few visits and warmed up to Olivia; it was a great relief to know that she felt comfortable around her sitter. I would highly recommend Olivia as a cat sitter!
Summer did a great job of taking care of our three cats! They were well looked after, and we were able to be away from home with peace of mind. We have a cat who requires oral medication, which she was able to do without difficulty. We would definitely hire Summer again!
We were new to Rover, have three cats (one is antisocial) so we were overall a little nervous. This was our first time booking with Wenwen. She was excellent! We're very happy with the level of care and attention our cats received. The communication was great. We especially appreciate that we needed to make changes to our initial feeding instructions mid way (because we realized we gave too much food), and Wenwen made the adjustments quickly and effortlessly, while checking in with us. We highly recommend her!
Kam and Lok were absolutely wonderful with Zazu! They stepped in at the last minute and took such amazing care of my cat, completely putting my mind at ease while I was away. Zazu is a rescue and extremely cautious with new people — she almost never lets anyone pet her — but somehow they earned her trust and she even let them pet her! That alone says everything about how patient, gentle, and caring they were with her. Respecting her boundaries and making her feel safe. I’m incredibly grateful and would trust them with Zazu again without hesitation. Highly recommend! ❤️🐾
We’re so glad that we found Sam and Matt to look after our two kitties. We were apprehensive as one of them is very skittish and takes a bit of time to get comfortable around new people, but Sam and Matt are so thoughtful and knowledgeable about cat behaviour that she warmed up to them super quickly. They’re great communicators and kept us updated every day with detailed report cards, which we appreciated and looked forward to. We also had a minor health situation that required medicine to be picked up and administered to one of our kitties, and they were attentive and helpful about it. So glad we chose Miryam as our first ever pet sitter! She has a genuine love for animals and our cat Koi naturally bonded with her during their time together. Our front door lock was acting up, and this sitter spent so much time attempting to get it working on multiple days, until we could get the lock replaced while we were away. In addition, they were great with my cats, followed all the instructions. I’ll be booking them again if I can, likely soon.
