“Frankie took excellent care of my pets for two weeks. I’m glad I found him on Rover. He worked very hard and my cats really love him. I would definitely book him again to take care of my cats!”

About: I've cared for both small and large dogs, from teacup Shih Tzus to German Shepherds. I love going on long walks, playing, and making sure every dog gets plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs! I currently work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the day. This allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and lots of one on one attention to help your pet feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other specific care your pet requires. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I'll also send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands while you're away.

“Christy was absolutely amazing! She followed every single instruction very carefully and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She took such great care of my cat and was very attentive and responsible throughout. I could tell my cat was comfortable and well looked after. I really appreciate her effort and kindness — I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: I've cared for cats and dogs for over 2 years and run a full pet-loving household of my own — a Border Collie puppy, a Siberian Forest Cat, and a British Shorthair. Raising a high-energy puppy means I'm comfortable with leash work, crate routines, and active breeds, and I'm patient and gentle with seniors who need a slower pace. I can give oral medication, handle nail trims and brushing, and I make my own healthy dehydrator treats. I'm also fully bilingual in English and Mandarin. I work from home full-time, so pet care isn't squeezed into spare time — it's my main focus all day, every day of the week. Your pet is rarely left alone for long. I keep consistent feeding, walking, and play times, and I'm happy to do up to 4 walks a day plus regular backyard play. Because I'm flexible and always home, I can easily match my routine to your pet's normal schedule rather than forcing them into a new one. Safety is the first thing I set up. I have pet gates on the stairs of every floor, so cats and dogs are kept completely separate and never mix. Boarding cats stay upstairs, where each family's cat gets their own private, dog-free room, while dogs stay on the main floor and in a fully fenced, escape-proof backyard. I currently board cats already, I monitor every guest's appetite, litter, energy, and mood daily, and I can give oral medication exactly on schedule.
“We feel so lucky to have Selina to take care of our cat while we were away. She is super friendly and helpful to provide tips or information. She even took extra effort to meet with our cat in advance to get to know him a bit. Highly recommended!”

About: Dogs are family! They deserve long walks, belly rubs and play time. I can provide your dog with walks, runs, fun play time or whatever he/she likes when you leave them with me. I love taking long walks and enjoying nature so I believe your dog will love taking walks with me. Also, I make time for relaxing so if your dog does not like being outside, I can plan fun indoor activities for them to enjoy. Putting fun aside, I am a responsible adult who sees safety as very important when dog sitting. Therefore, I will take every measure to ensure that each dog under my supervision will always be in my sight and out of harms way. Overall, I am very passionate and loving towards dogs. P.S. I grew up around dogs ever since I was born. Some breeds that I have taken care of are Shih tzus, Pomeranian mixes, Rottweilers, Pit bulls and German Sheppards. I currently work part time and can adjust my schedule and take on last minute bookings. So far most of my availability is limited to midday or late afternoon. If you require earlier days please do not hesitate to contact me. I want to learn your fur baby’s preference for play and walk to ensure he or she will have the best time ever! I will treat your home with the utmost respect as if it were mine.
“Yee Yan did an amazing job taking care of my cat! She’s super detailed and genuinely concerned about every little thing. With her vet tech background, I know my cat’s in good hands. I’ll definitely rebook her next time.”

About: ONLY 1 fur friend each time. Pets are families. They deserve love and care. My mom had a cat, we play, eat, sleep together. He taught me how to enjoy life no matter what you have experienced or experiencing. My friend had a dog, I always go visit. We played and went out for walks often. Thank you so much for picking me and share your cute family with me. I only accept 1 fur friend or 2 from the same family each time so I can put all my attention on him/her. Loves hiking when weather permits,5km min. For 🐶 will provide daily walking data so you know how long we walked and how much energy we burned. We will go out for a walk in the morning time, lunch time and dinner time. More short 15-20 potty breaks in between as well. 3 times of walking of 30 min would be by default. On weekends will go hiking with 5km min. I lived in a pet friendly condo and the neighborhood is very quiet to take a walk. There are two community parks nearby to visit. When walking in the neighborhood and condo, will always meet at least 1 or 2 pet friend.
“Danya was awesome! I left her with 4 cats, one was in surgical recovery. All of them are usually very nervous but not with Danya. Danya's updates were in great detail, well written and with endless pictures. She took the time to get to know my cats. Each one was described to the T. When I got home, my cats were as if I never left. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my cats as well as myself. I strongly recommend Danya.”

“It was so easy to work with Venus, and she and our cat Ryder, got along so well right away. She communicates well, sends videos and photos, is very accommodating and you can just feel her love towards Ryder. Highly recommended. Thanks again and we'll be in touch for next time.”

“Wing was so nice to work with from the very beginning to the end! I am so glad I had her help. She came to visit the cats to get to know them and their environment and answer my questions about the care process before the care period started. Each day she came on time and interacted with my cats and went through all the necessary steps of care. My cats felt comfortable and relaxed with her. She also kept me informed on the cats and took pictures and videos everyday to send me, which gave me peace of mind. I was concerned about my cats sneaking out the door and communicated it with her before the booking. She was experienced and made sure that did not happen. I came back to healthy happy cats. That’s all that matters. I would definitely hire her again and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for attentive care for their pets!”

About: I specialize in caring for friendly, calm, and well-mannered dogs in a quiet home environment and beautiful, low traffic neighborhoods. We don’t have pet and your pet will be the ONLY VIP guest in my home. No stress from other dogs, 100% focused attention. My approach is built on reliability and structure: • Routine Consistency: We strictly follow your feeding schedules, and potty breaks to minimize anxiety and house training accidents. • Safety First: Walks are always leash-secure and planned around quieter, low-traffic routes in our immediate neighborhood. My priority is preventing incidents, not reacting to them. • Clear Communication: You will receive detailed photo and written updates daily, covering their mood, appetite, and activity level. I’m a part-time graduate student. So I’m home most of the time. I also have a car and can drive to places needed. Here are the key blocks: • Mornings (7-1 PM): Structured walk, meal prep, and supervised rest during my focus work/study hours. • Afternoons (1-5 PM): Potty breaks, and active companionship from my partner and me. • Evenings (5 PM On): Dinner, a longer structured walk, and quiet wind-down time before bed. In short: Your dog receives attentive care. Consistency and safety are our priorities. Me and my partner live in a house without pets. Unlike sitters who manage multiple dogs from different homes, I limit bookings to one family's pet at a time, ensuring 100% focused attention and minimizing external unsafe factors. Although I have a fenced backyard, for maximum safety and security, I do NOT leave dogs unsupervised in the backyard. All outdoor time consists of active, leashed walks in our beautiful, quiet neighborhood. This ensures zero risk of escape and keeps your pup clean and safe.
About: I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them. Even though I don’t currently have my own pet, I have always been the person my friends trust to watch their pets. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors. I usually go for walks during the day, so taking a dog for a walk or visiting a pet fits perfectly into my schedule I am patient, attentive, and detail-oriented. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I treat every pet like my own.💗
“As a nervous pet-parent, I couldn’t be more blessed to have found Vanessa to look after my dog when I’m away. Her impressive experience and love of animals showed during our meet and greet and when she looked after our little guy. He adores her! I’ve already rebooked her for our next trip away and I’m reassured having her look after him.”

About: What truly sets me apart is my background as a rescue pet parent. I understand that not every pet is 'plug and play', some need extra patience, a calm voice, and time to decompress. My experience has taught me how to read subtle body language and handle pets that may be shy, anxious, or have specific triggers. Additionally, as a working professional with a steady 9 to 5, I bring a high level of organization and reliability to my sittings. I am not someone who will flake or show up late; I treat your pet's schedule with the same respect I give my own career. You can expect detailed updates, photos from every walk, and a sitter who is deeply committed to maintaining your pet's existing routine and home security. Pet care is a dedicated part of my morning and evening routine. Because I work a consistent 9 to 5 schedule, I offer highly reliable and 'on the clock' care that pets thrive on. On Weekdays: I am available for early morning walks or check-ins before 8:30 AM, and I am fully dedicated to pet care starting at 5:30 PM for evening walks, feedings, and playtime. For house-sitting clients, your pet will have my full company throughout the evening and overnight. On Weekends: My schedule is completely open! I use Saturdays and Sundays for longer walks, adventure trail visits in the Markham area, and extended playtime. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. When walking or visiting your home, I ensure all doors and gates are securely locked behind me and double-check leashes and harnesses before heading out. I am always vigilant of my surroundings to avoid high-stress situations or unfriendly off-leash dogs. Having cared for a rescue pet, I am very comfortable managing specialized instructions, from strict feeding schedules to administering medication. I believe in clear communication and will provide frequent photo updates and notes so you know your pet is safe, happy, and well-cared for in their own comfortable environment. I treat every home I enter with the utmost respect and every pet as if they were my own family
About: I have over 2 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. While living in an apartment, I often helped my roommate take care of her pets whenever she was busy or away. I was responsible for feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they felt safe and comfortable. She always gave me wonderful feedback and often told me she felt completely at ease leaving her pets in my care. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like a member of my own family. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, so I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and provide loving, patient, and reliable care. Once I accept a booking, I make it my priority. I arrange my schedule around each reservation and complete my personal work outside of the booked hours whenever possible. This allows me to give every pet the time, attention, and care they deserve. I understand that every pet has its own routine, and I always do my best to follow the owner’s instructions so they feel safe and comfortable for while you’re away. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications (if needed), and any special care requests. I always keep a close eye on pets during walks and playtime, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Markham
Venus took such great care of Ryder and sent so many cute videos and photos of him at each visit. Her love for pets and Ryder is evident in her service and communication. She's trustworthy, easy to work with and even went above and beyond to help empty out the litter/waste bin as it was getting too full while we were away. Highly recommended. :)

Karine and Howard have been very pleasant to deal with and didn’t mind that I was a bit nervous leaving my senior cat behind. Haha. They interacted well with my cat to work on bonding with him, so I’m happy to have them help out the next time I need to a sitter.

Selina was absolutely wonderful taking care of our two cats. She was reliable, communicative, and truly went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable. One of our cats can be a bit shy, but Selina was so patient with him. We loved the daily updates and photos. She was not only taking care our cats, but also our plants. We will absolutely be booking with her again.

It was our first time to hire a cat sitter to take care of our two cats at home while we travel. We asked Yee Yan because we read good reviews and we cannot be happier with any one taking care of our cats. She was quite responsive when we contacted her, very friendly to plan for the visits, and very organized and professional when taking care of the cats. She followed all our instructions and shared with us picture and video of the time she spent with the cats. People with pets know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving the pets at home with a caregiver and I am happy that we finally found someone who we can trust for this in the future. I recomment Yee Yan with bot reservation and please everyone feel free to contact me if yoy need more information.
She took very good care of our cat and followed all of our instructions while we were on vacation. She always responded very quickly when we contacted her and gave us many updates and photos. Our cat was happy and seemed to be very comfortable with her ! I would highly recommend Wing Shan for pet sitting services
Yuqing was absolutely wonderful while taking care of my two cats during our vacation. She was very responsible and attentive at every visit — always making sure to clean the litter box, change food bowls, refill water, and spend time playing with them. She also carefully observed their behaviour and promptly updated me on how they were doing. I especially appreciated the adorable photo updates — more than 25 pictures each time! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cats were in such caring hands. Highly recommended!
