My name is Selina, and I am a dedicated animal lover with hands-on, professional experience in animal care. I have over six years of professional experience in animal care, including working in a professional dog daycare service center, and I hold an Animal First Aid Certification. I also share my home with dogs, cats, lizards, and other animals, which has given me a deep, practical understanding of different animals’ needs, behaviors, and personalities. Beyond paid work, I have been actively volunteering with cat rescue organization for over three years, where I assist with daily care, socialization, and rehabilitation of rescued cats. I have also supported wildlife rescue efforts, which has further strengthened my sense of responsibility, patience, and respect for all living beings. These experiences have shaped me into a calm, attentive, and dependable caregiver who always puts animal welfare first. As a trustworthy and caring person, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel comfortable when they are away, and I am committed to providing safe, loving, and reliable care whenever you need support. We are first time pet owners, that too with cats who are very different than dogs. So we were quite worried when it was time to take our very first vacation after becoming pet parents. We had adopted rescued cats, one of them Pumbaa is more anxious around new people. Finding Selina on Rover has felt like all our prayers got answered. She is such a loving, caring and gentle person. Both our cats got friendly with her right away. While we were away, she used to send us many photos and videos everyday capturing their precious and cute moments. She gave us soooo much peace of mind during our vacation, we cannot be more grateful. ❤️❤️ She truly understands pets, having multiple pets herself and being a regular volunteer at a shelter in New Market. She also goes over and above proactively. For example, she used to turn on different lights each evening to make it look someone’s at home. And then send us a photo of which one’s on. Then one day she watered my indoors plants. She would sometimes include photos of the cleaned litter boxes too. We couldn’t be more happy with her. Such a blessing! We highly recommend her. 🥰💖

Selina was absolutely wonderful taking care of our two cats. She was reliable, communicative, and truly went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable. One of our cats can be a bit shy, but Selina was so patient with him. We loved the daily updates and photos. She was not only taking care our cats, but also our plants. We will absolutely be booking with her again.
We booked Selina for our 1 week vacation to take care of our cat at home. She is very responsive and took a good care of her. My cat seemed to enjoy her companion as well!
Our little guy is always happy to see Selina she takes excellent care of him.
I was so nervous about leaving my particular Shiba, Hachi, with a walker but Selina is fantastic! She is so good with dogs, even one as picky as Hachi! Hachi had a great time with Selina, he loves her! I feel so relieved to finally found someone who understands Hachi!!
