As a pet parent to a four-year-old Foxhound and someone with a background in Health Promotion, I bring both personal experience and professional insight to pet care. I understand that each dog has unique physical and emotional needs at different life stages, and I take a thoughtful, attentive approach to every pet I look after. Caring for an energetic and intelligent breed like a Foxhound has given me extensive experience with high-energy dogs. I’m familiar with leash training, basic obedience commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “come,” and I know how to provide both physical activity and mental stimulation to keep dogs happy and balanced. My background in Health Promotion also helps me pay close attention to a pet’s overall well-being — from balanced nutrition and hygiene to early recognition of health issues and creating daily routines that support a pet’s quality of life. I’ve also cared for senior dogs and pets with special needs, providing gentle support with medication, mobility, and emotional comfort. I truly believe that combining knowledge with genuine love and patience is the key to making pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.

I work from home and offer a calm, pet-friendly space with a fully fenced backyard, perfect for safe outdoor play. Dogs get regular supervised time outside every few hours for exercise and fresh air. My own dog is friendly and well-socialized, and I ensure slow, safe introductions. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I follow their routines closely, prioritize safety, and provide consistent, loving attention — just like I do with my own dog.

She is incredibly loving, patient, and attentive with cats, and I can really tell that she genuinely enjoys spending time with them. Yuqing was absolutely wonderful while taking care of my two cats during our vacation. She was very responsible and attentive at every visit — always making sure to clean the litter box, change food bowls, refill water, and spend time playing with them. She also carefully observed their behaviour and promptly updated me on how they were doing. I especially appreciated the adorable photo updates — more than 25 pictures each time! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cats were in such caring hands. Highly recommended!

Schedule
As someone who works from home, I have plenty of time and flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine — from morning walks and meal times to play, training, and quiet companionship. Being home allows me to respond quickly to pets’ needs, whether it’s a bathroom break, a bit of extra exercise, or simply offering comfort and company. I’m also available for extended care, senior dog support, and pets who may have anxiety when left alone. Caring for animals isn’t just part of my routine — it’s something I truly enjoy and prioritize every day.
