Your Pet’s New BF - home all day!
I've been caring for animals, literally my entire life. Growing up, we were 'the house with all of the animals', so I have firsthand experience with cats, dogs (small and large), bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens, frogs, birds, and more! From day 1 to their final days, I've been there with my pets (and others) through it all. My senior dog (17.5) recently passed away, so I have a lot of experience with elder care and medications. Now that it's just me (and my husband), I would love to help care for your pet and share a bit of my love with them. I know what it feels like to go off on holiday and wonder about your pet - rest assured, I work from home and believe in sending daily photo updates (at least!) Personal report card provided at end of stay! I live in an apartment with a large grass area attached, and a lovely park about 10 minutes away - perfect for walks and potty breaks! Due to the nature of my work, I am able to be available for animals that may need extra care, frequent outings, or medications throughout the day. I also live with my husband, Matt, who will be around and available to help care for your pet.

We’re so glad that we found Sam and Matt to look after our two kitties. We were apprehensive as one of them is very skittish and takes a bit of time to get comfortable around new people, but Sam and Matt are so thoughtful and knowledgeable about cat behaviour that she warmed up to them super quickly. They’re great communicators and kept us updated every day with detailed report cards, which we appreciated and looked forward to. We also had a minor health situation that required medicine to be picked up and administered to one of our kitties, and they were attentive and helpful about it. Overall, we’re very grateful to have found such trustworthy, affectionate, and reliable sitters for our kitties. Thanks Sam and Matt!
This was the longest we left our pup with a sitter (20 days) and I was a little nervous. But Sam and Matt have been the best friends to Rosie who got to live her best life while being their guest. She got tons of walks, play time and cuddles! And I got daily updates with lots of photos and videos showcasing their antics and giving me peace of mind! I'd be happy to book again with Sam in the future

Luna was happy and enjoyed her time with Sam and Matt. So much so, she kept escaping her carrier when we tried to bring her home. S Luna was obviously quite comfortable and would give her stay a 5 out of 5.
You really couldn’t ask for a better sitter. Sam and her husband treat our dog Moon with so much love and take her on long walks.

Schedule
I work for myself from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to be available for animals that may need extra care, frequent outings, or medications throughout the day. As well as lots of love and cuddles!

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is very safe, with childproof windows and very pet-safe. I had a pet of my own living here until recently. There is a large green space attached to my apartment building that is well-lit and has lots of foot traffic. That being said, you can always find a quiet pocket of space for those who are less socialable.
A typical day
I like to provide lots of stimulation with a good balance of low-key snuggling time. It's really about learning from you what their routine is at home and replicating that as much as possible.
