About: A lifelong love for animals, I have experience with young and senior pets. My priority is that your pet feels happy, comfortable and safe. I also have experience with animals with different temperaments from grumpy cats to energetic pups, I’ve seen it all and have the disposition to accommodate your animals needs. I would also like to mention that I have volunteer experience working with animals and personal experience injecting diabetic cats. I currently work full time but it’s remote. This allows me to have flexibility. Pet care is something I want to incorporate into my routine. I currently have a senior cat and a 1 year old dog. My experience began with my childhood cat, Uncle Shay, and later grew through caring for Maya, a Basset Hound and Rottweiler mix, and Fred, a Rottweiler. 've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. My experience began with my childhood cat, Uncle Shay, and continued with two wonderful dogs, Maya, a Basset Hound and Rottweiler mix, and Fred, a Rottweiler. Outside of Rover, I'm a member of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, where responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail are part of everyday life. I also review leash routines, home access, emergency contacts, and safety considerations so every visit goes as smoothly as possible. During walks and visits, I provide constant supervision, use positive reinforcement, carefully secure doors, gates, and leashes, and follow your instructions closely. I pay attention to details that can make a big difference, from monitoring weather conditions and avoiding hazards to recognizing changes in behaviour or energy levels. You'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages throughout each visit so you always know how your pet is doing. I believe consistency creates confidence, so I work hard to keep your pet's routine as familiar and stress-free as possible while you're away.

Sinead is very professional and friendly. She sent me updates and photos every day we were gone. She house sat for us and took care of our large dog and our cat. She managed to walk our 90 pound dog, that can pull at times and can be very nervous of outside and people, successfully and without issue. Our cat that hides from strangers even came out and befriended Sinead. I would definitely recommend. She is an animal person, and is very trust-worthy with good energy.
Nathaly was so amazing with our puppy Pepper. We had to cancel boarding at the last minute because of an injury, and it was truly a godsend finding and booking Nathaly. She was so sweet with Pepper, making sure she was well looked after, and was super thoughtful and careful with her injury. She sent lots of adorable updates, taught her some new tricks, and also took great care with our place while we were gone. I highly recommend her! She took amazing care of my dog, Luna, while staying at my house. She was reliable, respectful of my home, and treated Luna with so much love and attention. Mac (Tia) was so amazing with Samson and Delilah. She took such good care of them. They are both 18 years old and I worry about leaving them even for a week but I felt very comfortable leaving them in Mac's care. Mac sent me pictures and messages on a regular basis and updates on how they were doing, without any prompting. Mac also left my apartment clean and tidy. I really appreciated Mac's kindness, patience, and care of my senior fur babies. I would definitely recommend Mac and would absolutely use her services again :)
5 out of 5 will hire again. Senior dog with complex medical needs was well cared for, the plants were watered and the house was clean when we came home. On top of that she handled some maintenance issues while we were away which we are extremely grateful for. We felt we could truly relax while on vacation.

I felt at ease as soon as me and my doggos met Maria Paula. She looked after my two large dogs for 4 nights and kept me updated the whole time. Jose is an amazing pet sitter, having far exceeded our expectations. He recently joined Rover and not surprisingly, had few reviews. But we really liked his profile and asked to have him to meet our cockapoo at our house for a ‘get to know you’ session. He was very friendly, inquisitive and demonstrated a calmness and confidence upon first meeting our dog. Right off the bat, our dog warmed up to Jose. He also came by a few days prior to our departure to walk our dog with us in the neighborhood. Again, it was a very positive experience. During our time away, Jose provided us with numerous updates of our dog’s behaviour and activity, and often included excellent photos and short videos of his time with our dog. Jose went the extra mile by not only keeping our house tidy and clean, but he also took it upon himself to do excellent yard work in our backyard. We arrived home to a spotless home and his welcome reception. I’d highly recommend Jose as a pet sitter.
Incredibly grateful for the wonderful care Daisy provided to our three kitties during an emergency three-week trip out of the country. Came home to three happy healthy kitties and a clean and orderly apartment. Our cats were sooooo much happier with the extended time and care they received with Daisy than the drop-in brief catsitting visits we've paid for in the past. Daisy communicated with us regularly and transparently, sent plenty of photos, and any concerns she had we were able to address in a timely fashion.
