About: I have been a foster for assistance dog training programs in both Ontario and BC for over six years (PADS, Lions Foundation Dog Guides). My dogs have become assistance dogs for the deaf, underprivileged, and others. I have several years of training with these programs, which has educated me on providing exceptional care. Most importantly, I offer a home with gentle energy that allows dogs to feel comfortable and secure. I currently foster a very cute two year old Labrador. I am retired, so my schedule is wide open, allowing me to provide care for your pet, even at a moment's notice. I will not take on two dog sitting requests at the same time, allowing me to focus on your pet. I have a very pet friendly dog who will gently play with yours. I am wide open to your requests, covering the specific needs your dog may have.

I had left Chelsea, our beloved Toy Poodle with other dog sitters on Rover and thought they were alright, but Chelsea seemed to have really enjoyed her time with Laura and Salomon. She came home to us as a tired pup who seemed genuinely satisfied with her daycare experience. Laura and Salomon shared 30-mins to 1-hour updates which tell me that they were actually spending time with Chelsea, and not just another individual working from home (WFH), taking advantage of their flexible work location to pocket extra cash. A lot of the sitters on Rover are WFH and feel it is okay to just leave the dog alone in a room, without real attention. Laura and Salomon went above and beyond for Chelsea, and I am always going to book with them.
