A Dog and Cat lover living away from her pet family - until I reunite with them I'm on Rover to offer my experience in caring for your fur baby, while you're busy or away! I’ve been a pet sitter for about eight years, and one thing I’ve learned is that every furry baby communicates in their own way. I pay close attention to their cues, whether they’re asking for play, looking for some quiet time, needing a walk, or simply wanting company. A lot of the care I provide comes from observing them closely and trying to understand what they might be asking for.

Wow! Cynara is amazing. She took the time to meet with Archie before the sit to make sure he was comfortable with her and in her home. During the stay she sent me tons of pictures, and took the best care of him. 12/10 would use her again!!
Cynara took care of my 9 year old dog Ginny who has many quirks. She made sure she understood her routine, her food schedule and medications. She made me feel comfortable to leave my dog with her for 1o days. When unexpected circumstances made it necessary for my dog to stay to extra nights she was flexible and it was not a problem. I would leave my dog with her anytime.
Like always Kiwi had an amazing time! Cynara did an excellent work taking care of our dog. She really loves taking care of her furry friends!! Highly recommend! Thank you!!
To say that Cynara went above and beyond would be an understatement!!! First she took really good care of our little 15 yo girl, sent us several updates throughout the day, and made sure she was as comfortable as possible during her 5-night stay. But on top of that, she dealt with unexpected situations with such care and grace (including administering eye drops 3 times a day, which was a very last-minute need!) Cynara even adjusted her schedule to ensure that Lulu spent as little time alone as possible, in order to help her manage anxiety/get comfortable being away from home. It was such a huge help to have someone as caring and capable and communicative as Cynara while away (on an already stressful trip!)
Oliver stayed with Cynara for doggie day care and he had the best time with her! I know Oliver felt at home with Cynara during his stay, thanks to her foresight in having a home meet-and-greet. We received loads of updates during Oliver’s stay. Cynara followed his routine and we came back to tired but happy puppy. I know Oliver will be back to stay with her, so we highly recommend Cynara for doggie day care + boarding!

Schedule
I work remotely from home, so dogs staying with me have plenty of company throughout the day. I also only take one dog at a time, and since I live by myself, your fur baby gets my full attention without the stress of multiple dogs or a busy household. I’m a short walk from Eglinton Park, so dogs staying with me often spend time there. What I try to focus on most is making sure each dog gets the right balance of activity, outdoor time, and calm attention. When dogs feel understood and have had enough movement and stimulation, they naturally relax and settle in comfortably.

I truly believe that animals can say SO much, without ever saying a word. I strive towards creating an environment where pets can feel safe, comfortable and at home...home is not a place, its a person. I earn their trust by giving them the things they need to be happy and healthy - being fed on time, having clean water, and giving them the exercise they need. I pay close attention to their behavior to identify any signs of discomfort or health issues. I’m committed to creating a space for your fur baby that feels like a home away from home.
A typical day
I love to understand your pets personality by talking to them, walking with them in open spaces and playing with them. The best way to get them to feel comfortable is to let them know that I love doing the same things as them - walk, play, run, and have fun! I’m a short walk from Eglinton Park, so dogs staying with me often spend time there.
