About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I’ve always been the person my family and friends ask to help watch their dog or to just stop by to let them out and feed them. I’m also capable of following a routine if needed and or making my own planned out routine for the dog. Currently I work part time at petsmart as a dog trainer where I teach classes for all breed and ages of dogs, I’m an accredited trainer and I plan to be certified in the future. I have experience with puppies all ages and I am comfortable with giving medication to old dogs if needed. Currently I work part time at petsmart so I have lost of free time during the week to watch, walk or let out your dog if needed. I am available also for routine visits for the same pet. For all of my pets I have kept or taken care of, I have always followed a routine that I am either given or I create on my own to I make sure nothing gets left behind or forgotten. My goal is to ensure i reach your dog’s daily needs for the time that I’m there with them.

Also, there are some awesome parks nearby for outdoor activities.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 16, starting with my own! I’ve worked with dogs of varying sizes and breeds, and it is a job I’m so passionate about! My schedule is flexible as I am self employed. You let me know when you need me and I can do my best to help you out! I’ll ensure your pet received the love and care they deserve! I treat each animal like they are my own, and the same goes for your home! I’ll treat it with the kindness and respect you deserve! Your animal will receive excellent walks filled with energy and fun!

About: I have walked several different breeds and sizes of dogs, including foster and domestic dogs, which has taught me how to adapt accordingly! Personalization is important to care for an animal. I am in college, so some weekdays are busy, but most of my free time is spent at home with cats or outside with dogs! I have a fenced backyard and several grassy areas near by to play in! I maintain a clean litter/pad area and wash food bowls after every meal!
“Great and trustworthy! On time and my dog loves him. Definitely appreciate his help in walking my dog when I’m at work and my dog looks forward to seeing him. I see my dog much happier on the days he gets to walk with Sarjak”

About: The first pet I ever adopted was a Yorkshire Terrier puppy, I named Maria. I was gifted a gem of a being that conquered my fears and misconceptions of animals and cultivated a passion for cats and dogs until this day. I have been pet sitting and fostering cats and dogs for 12 years with great enthusiasm. It is my goal to provide a pet care and boarding centre for my community in the future, but before then, help me start my foundations. It would be a pleasure to pet sit for you. 🙂 I have the privilege of working from home which initiated my fostering and pet sitting endeavours. I care for one little poodle pup whom I’m training to be a well behaved and sweet doggy. She loves other dogs and is very social. I would have the access to provide 24/7 care for your pet. They’d have no need to be alone for long periods of time and I would be able to take them out to relieve themselves at the appropriate times. I have 24/7 care access for your pet since I work from home. I can offer or take in a crate for your convenience in my apartment, which is quite spacious. I am currently working on my pet emergency training in order to keep your pet at their safest.

I’m responsible, caring, and passionate about making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while under my care. I’m happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving your pets plenty of love and attention! I’m very flexible and looking forward to discussing and following your pets preferences and routines ! I live in a condo & have a dog park nearby. Depending on your needs and routines that you have established for your pets I can care for them as needed so they can still maintain a sense of comfort when they’re away from home!

“Amanda is very sweet and a kind and gentle human. We needed someone to walk our dogs while on vacation and she completed them all without hesitation. We were able to trust our dogs in her hands every morning, coming to our home, taking the dogs for a walk, giving them treats and wiping their paws when it was a messy and rainy week! We will definitely consider Amanda again during any of our dog care needs. Thank you!”

Jayneigh was a great help for walking our sweet golden while he stayed at my mum’s house. Since my mum is not able to walk him, Jayneigh helped give us the peace we needed to go away for a few days, knowing that our dog was getting the walks he needed while also staying in a familiar environment. Jayneigh is kind, capable and reliable. We thank her so much!!!

Angela was an amazing dog walker for Luca! She was reliable, caring, and made sure he got plenty of exercise and attention during his walks. Luca was always happy and relaxed after his walks, and it was clear he really enjoyed spending time with her. I highly recommend Angela to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker. Thank you so much, Angela! 🐾😊

Jennifer is an amazing dog walker! She is very friendly, reliable, and attentive to my dogs’ needs. I have her walk my dogs on a regular basis each week, and she has always been extremely helpful and caring. My dogs absolutely love her and are always excited to see her. I highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker!

Rahul is very punctual and kind. He successfully walked our 80 pound husky, Bubba, who has a tendency to pull and get over excited around other dogs. Rahul asked necessary questions to ensure a successful walk. Bubba immediately took to Rahul’s friendly demeanour as well. It was so nice having Rahul as our first dog walker. We look forward to requesting him again in the future!

I can’t recommend Viven enough! She’s an amazing walker and my dogs absolutely love her. She’s incredibly efficient, reliable, and always quick to respond — even to my late overseas messages and last-minute requests. Thank you so much, Viven, for helping make sure the girls get their walkies. Koko and Skie have a new friend now, and we’re so grateful for you! 💛🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Scarborough choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

- 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
