About: I've joined the volunteer which is to take care of the stray dogs that live on the mountain. I also have a dog, a bichon fraise. He is now three years old. I've had him since he's three months old. I really like to play with dogs, I often feel like I can really be good friend with dogs. I am now a full time student study at UofT Scarborough. I have classes during week day. But on the weekend. I'm not very busy. I will be very careful of what they are eating and also be very careful on their behavior. I won't let them get loose while walking and also keep them away from the cars.

I am immensely patient, adaptable and can keep your pet in familiar surroundings and routines while you're away. I work freelance so my schedule is quite flexible. About: I'm a Nurse, so calm-under-pressure and close attention to detail are basically my job description — and that carries right over into how I care for pets. I'm comfortable with medication schedules, mobility issues, post-surgery recovery, and knowing when something's "off" and worth a vet call versus not. My husband and I care for pets together — he's dog CPR certified, and has raised six dogs of his own from puppy to senior years, so he's seen it all: teething, training, arthritis, end-of-life care. He usually handles walks and meal prep, so your dog gets a consistent routine and someone who genuinely enjoys the daily stuff, not just the cuddles. Between the two of us, we've also got two dogs of our own at home — a 6-year-old Boxer/Bully mix and a 13-year-old Corgi/Terrier mix — so we know both ends of the spectrum: high-energy young dogs and senior dogs who need a gentler pace. Your pet gets treated like they’re part of the pack. Right now I'm off assignment until November, so I'm home full-time and available pretty much any day. My husband also works from home, so between the two of us there's basically always someone around for potty breaks, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day — not just early morning and evening like a typical 9-5 household. Believe it or not, I treat pets better than humans 🤣 it's embarrassing to say it but they give you unconditional love, so why not give unconditional love back? We've got a 4,000+ sq ft backyard with a hill for the energetic dogs to run up and over and really burn off steam, plus a park right in the neighbourhood for extra walks and exploring. Whether your dog needs a big open space to zoom around or a calmer stroll nearby, we've got options.

I’m home most days, so your pet gets plenty of attention, company, and consistency throughout their stay. My home has a spacious lounge and a bright sunroom that’s perfect for relaxing, playing or simply soaking up the sun. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, larger dogs, seniors and pets that need a little extra support. I can also give oral medication or medication mixed with food when clear instructions are provided. I usually take dogs out 2–3 times a day for around 20–40 minutes, with shorter or longer walks depending on their age, energy level and usual routine. There are plenty of quiet residential streets, green spaces and nearby walking areas for safe, relaxed walks. I’m usually home throughout the day, so pets are rarely left alone. About: I have been caring for animals since a very young age. I began my career as a vet tech which I did for many years until I became a human nurse, which I am currently working as. I am also able to provide medical care if needed or take your loved fur baby to any medical visits they may need. I am new to the Rover platform but I am not new when it comes to caring for cats and dogs as I have been doing it for years. I would love to opportunity to gain trust within the pet parent community to be able to take care of your beloved fur baby.
