About: Hi! I’m Jahzara 😊 I’m a dedicated animal lover with hands-on experience working in an animal hospital, where I’ve gained valuable skills in animal care, behavior, and monitoring health. I’ve cared for a variety of pets through Rover and truly enjoy building trust with both pets and their owners. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or companionship, I always aim to provide a calm, attentive, and safe environment — especially for pets who may be shy or very bonded to their families. At the moment, my schedule can vary due to work commitments, so I take on a limited number of bookings to ensure I can give each pet the time and care they deserve. I’m always happy to communicate and find something that works when possible! Looking forward to meeting you and your pets 🐾 I currently work in an animal hospital and have a busy schedule, so my availability can vary week to week. I take on a limited number of bookings to ensure I can provide reliable and attentive care for each pet. Feel free to reach out and I’ll always do my best to accommodate when possible! The specific tasks and level of care will depend on the pet's individual needs and the services provided, but typically include feeding, grooming, exercise, health monitoring and companionship.
“Alexa and Andrew were amazing to work with! Despite all the puppy energy, they were very accommodating and knew how to handle our pup during the walk. They went above and beyond by wiping paws and were very patient and understanding with all of our requests. Would recommend them to other fur parents!”

“We booked Mathusan on short notice for 3 walks this week. He was very responsive and worked with us for all the logistics. We started with a meet and greet and instantly, Audley loved him! They had the best cuddles and she felt really comfortable which was important to us. He also gave us timely and regular updates which gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing that she was in good hands. Mathusan and Keishiya provided great suggestions to help navigate puppyhood. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing sitter/walker!”

About: I have had my recent puppy Duke for 2 years. I have had pets all throughout my childhood growing up in a family that loves animals I have a schedule for when I walk/feed my pet. I also make sure he gets lots of exercise and playtime with me and my family. The safety of the animals I care for is the utmost importance to me. I have a fenced back yard, with lots of greenery and space for play, as well as being extremely safe.

“I can’t recommend Randy enough! When I faced an emergency and couldn’t be there for my three ESA bullies, who are my world, Randy stepped in and went above and beyond. He cared for them like they were his own, feeding them, walking them, and even taking them by the river. He adapted perfectly to my rescue, and even helped him gain confidence despite being scared of his own shadow, and made sure all three felt safe and happy. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. Truly outstanding service—thank you, Randy!”

About: I spent 12 years caring for my family cat and learned how to keep pets safe, calm, and happy. I’m patient, responsible, and committed to excellent care. I work full‑time, but I’m available for pet care from Thursday to Saturday and can accept same‑day bookings. On Wednesdays, I’m available after 6 PM. If voluntary time off is available at 3 PM, I can leave work then and arrive shortly after if a client needs care on Wednesday. My dad is allergic, so dogs can’t enter my home. I provide outdoor care with full supervision, using my fenced backyard and dog‑friendly indoor break spots.

About: ONLY 1 fur friend each time. Pets are families. They deserve love and care. My mom had a cat, we play, eat, sleep together. He taught me how to enjoy life no matter what you have experienced or experiencing. My friend had a dog, I always go visit. We played and went out for walks often. Thank you so much for picking me and share your cute family with me. I only accept 1 fur friend or 2 from the same family each time so I can put all my attention on him/her. Loves hiking when weather permits,5km min. For 🐶 will provide daily walking data so you know how long we walked and how much energy we burned. We will go out for a walk in the morning time, lunch time and dinner time. More short 15-20 potty breaks in between as well. 3 times of walking of 30 min would be by default. On weekends will go hiking with 5km min. I lived in a pet friendly condo and the neighborhood is very quiet to take a walk. There are two community parks nearby to visit. When walking in the neighborhood and condo, will always meet at least 1 or 2 pet friend.
About: Mira - I have owned my own pets at a young age from fishes to pocket pets and dogs, ranging from small to large breeds. I graduated in the Animal Care program and currently work as a Vet Assistant at an animal hospital where I work with both cats and dogs and handle emergency to non-urgent cases.I have a good understanding of pets needs (i.e. caring for senior pets, medical concerns, specialized diet, etc.) I used to do dog walking as well. Charles and I are both pet lovers on top of my own experiences. Mira works 8hr shifts on the weekdays and is usually free on weekends. Charles is a nurse and does shift work, so he is available weekdays and weekends depending on his schedule. We do try our best to make our schedule work with your pet but there may be times where your pet may have to be alone for 8hrs due to our work schedule. If a drop off or pick up is needed, please let us know so we can arrange something! Your pets comfort and safety is our number one priority. We currently live in a large one bedroom apartment with no pets. Although we don’t have a backyard, we enjoy one on one time with the pet we’re caring for and will always try to bring them on mini supervised adventures (mainly walks on trails unless the owner specifies something different!) Ideally we don’t allow dogs to meet with other dogs unless specified. We take care of one pet at a time unless from the same household. If you would like to meet in person beforehand to make sure your pet and us are a good fit, feel free to message us for arrangements.

Mathusan and Keishiya are fantastic. We had a meetup, a test walk, and they asked a ton of questions about Beckham to fully understand his needs. After learning more about him, Keishiya even made some recommendations on training best practices and supplements. They truly show him the highest level of care and I feel so at ease with them caring for my boy. Plus, Beckham adores them (AND Peaches)!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pickering choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

- 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
