About: Family and friends have trusted me to care for their dogs (and cats) for over 20 years, whether that means feeding, walking, playing, or making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I also have experience training dogs and reinforcing good habits and basic commands. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable adjusting to each dog’s personality, routine, and energy level. I work remotely and am only in the office 2 days a week. I lost my 10 year old shepherd last month and have lots of free time and love to give. I have a fenced yard with turf (artificial) grass, no other dogs or pets, and keep the environment 100% safe for any animals. I always supervise pets while outside and make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and potty breaks. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and care routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and at home while they’re with me.

About: ONLY 1 fur friend each time. Pets are families. They deserve love and care. My mom had a cat, we play, eat, sleep together. He taught me how to enjoy life no matter what you have experienced or experiencing. My friend had a dog, I always go visit. We played and went out for walks often. Thank you so much for picking me and share your cute family with me. I only accept 1 fur friend or 2 from the same family each time so I can put all my attention on him/her. Loves hiking when weather permits,5km min. For 🐶 will provide daily walking data so you know how long we walked and how much energy we burned. We will go out for a walk in the morning time, lunch time and dinner time. More short 15-20 potty breaks in between as well. 3 times of walking of 30 min would be by default. On weekends will go hiking with 5km min. I lived in a pet friendly condo and the neighborhood is very quiet to take a walk. There are two community parks nearby to visit. When walking in the neighborhood and condo, will always meet at least 1 or 2 pet friend.

I’m in a placement from September 21–October 26, Monday–Friday from 9:00–3:30, but I do have an hour lunch break each day, so I may be able to work something out depending on what time you’re looking for. I’ll also be away for school November 14–December 18 to which I won’t be available. Then I’ll have another placement January–February. Outside of those times, I have more flexibility. I’ll provide care in my clients’ homes, following each pet’s usual routine and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll keep up with feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions, while giving them lots of attention and making sure their home is kept clean and secure.

I don't mind sharing with you photos and videos through out the day to help give you peace of mind while your dog is in my care. I'm a psychology major and love learning about each of their needs and personality traits. I'm currently taking a break from university to help out with my community. My availability is all week, every day with my full time schedule at home. I have a fenced backyard with greenspaces. I'm located near two parks and the waterfront at Lake Ontario! The place is minimalist with lots of space for your pet to roam and rest.

About: Mira - I have owned my own pets at a young age from fishes to pocket pets and dogs, ranging from small to large breeds. I graduated in the Animal Care program and currently work as a Vet Assistant at an animal hospital where I work with both cats and dogs and handle emergency to non-urgent cases.I have a good understanding of pets needs (i.e. caring for senior pets, medical concerns, specialized diet, etc.) I used to do dog walking as well. Charles and I are both pet lovers on top of my own experiences. Mira works 8hr shifts on the weekdays and is usually free on weekends. Charles is a nurse and does shift work, so he is available weekdays and weekends depending on his schedule. We do try our best to make our schedule work with your pet but there may be times where your pet may have to be alone for 8hrs due to our work schedule. If a drop off or pick up is needed, please let us know so we can arrange something! Your pets comfort and safety is our number one priority. We currently live in a large one bedroom apartment with no pets. Although we don’t have a backyard, we enjoy one on one time with the pet we’re caring for and will always try to bring them on mini supervised adventures (mainly walks on trails unless the owner specifies something different!) Ideally we don’t allow dogs to meet with other dogs unless specified. We take care of one pet at a time unless from the same household.
