“I contacted Farah pretty much last minute to look after my cat for 5 days. She responded promptly and quickly accepted my request! She did everything I requested and more! She kept Luna's area clean and tidy. She even left catnip for my cat on the last day. She was attentive and I think she did a fabulous job. Although my cat is on the shy side, she still tried to get her comfortable with her. She even stayed an extra 40 minutes! She was always on time and messaged me with photos and updates, which I really appreciated. If I ever need someone to look after Luna in the future, it will definitely be Farah!”
About: I have taken care of my own dog for 5 years, I have dog-sat and cat-sat for my friends, and I am currently in school for a veterinary assistant program which I love! *I do not do overnight house-sitting but I can house-sit for several hours in a day. *female clients only for safety purposes I’m currently in school full time but I’m half in-person, half-online, and I have Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays off, with Friday classes ending at 1pm. We will go out for a walk in the morning time, lunch time and dinner time. More short 15-20 potty breaks in between as well. 3 times of walking of 30 min would be by default. On weekends will go hiking with 5km min. I lived in a pet friendly condo and the neighborhood is very quiet to take a walk. There are two community parks nearby to visit. “I was so happy with Kelly's approach to my very anxious and shy dog, Doug. I have been looking for an overnight solution for Doug for when we go away - and I've found her to be too anxious in big camp environments. I thought I'd try out a dog daycare day with Kelly to see how Doug would do. Kelly was really generous with her time. We had an initial phone call, where I provided a bunch of background information on Doug. It was clear from that phone call that Kelly just really understands dogs. She took the time to find a day in her schedule that had a few dogs that would be a good fit for Doug without being overwhelming. On the day of daycare, Kelly took time to allow Doug to meet all the dogs. When Doug was still a little anxious during the day, Kelly took her on a walk to help her feel a little less anxious. She also played ball with Doug to help her warm up. (Doug is relentless with ball, so I'm sure it was a bit relentless for Kelly..:) It was amazing to see how all the dogs just listen to Kelly - with her calm and gentle approach. Hannah was great with my puppy, Anakin. He is four months old and has only been with me for a few weeks - so he has a touch of separation anxiety. Loves hiking when weather permits,5km min. For 🐶 will provide daily walking data so you know how long we walked and how much energy we burned. We will go out for a walk in the morning time, lunch time and dinner time. More short 15-20 potty breaks in between as well. 3 times of walking of 30 min would be by default. On weekends will go hiking with 5km min. I lived in a pet friendly condo and the neighborhood is very quiet to take a walk. There are two community parks nearby to visit. When walking in the neighborhood and condo, will always meet at least 1 or 2 pet friend.

About: It's been two years since I began fostering and in that time I've learned a lot about the importance of caring for a pet whether it be basic training/ commands, thresholds or ensuring they receive proper mental stimulation. With my first foster (eventually foster fail), it was a lot of trial and error to figure out which training method was best suited for him because every dog response is different based on their breed and unique personality. The rescue (Sea Paws Rescue) was very complimentary of my foster's training and said he was one of their best trained intake! I've since fostered a rescue puppy and provided the same basic training to ensure they found their forever home, which we did! The family was also very impressed with how well the puppy responded to sit and down commands. During this time, I also watched 3 dogs in the same household over a two-week period, while ensuring each dog received the required training and engagement on a daily basis. I treat every dog in my care as if their my own and ensure safety precautions are in place to avoid any unnecessary incidents. I also understand that leaving your dog in an unfamiliar environment and person can be nerve wracking, so I will always provide regular updates via text, pics, or videos! I also have my Pet First Aid certificate through Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon! I currently work part-time retail with 2-3 shifts per week, but I have flexible hours. During my two-week stint of caring for three dogs at the same time, it brought me a lot of joy to be surrounded by three loveable (and different) dogs. It also helped my foster pup understand proper boundaries with other dogs to know when and when not to engage or give proper space.
