About: Dog trainer in progress… 🐾 My love for dogs has a bit of a story behind it. I was actually afraid of dogs for quite a while after being bitten as a child. That changed when I volunteered at an animal shelter in high school. I still remember opening the door and seeing all these dogs waiting excitedly to greet us, looking up at us with the sweetest puppy eyes. It was one of those moments that completely melted my heart. That experience helped me see dogs differently and sparked my curiosity about animal behavior. I started learning more about how a dog’s experiences, environment, and emotions can shape their behavior. It also taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and understanding every dog as an individual. Since then, I’ve enjoyed caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, whether it’s a relaxed walk or a more energetic run. I’m comfortable with active dogs (I play basketball myself!) and love jogging with dogs who enjoy it, too. Beyond walks and playtime, I also have hands-on experience with more specialized care, including administering oral medications to dogs and helping cats use asthma inhalers. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid and I’ve also grown up taking care of many pets 🐕 I love taking care of small/ medium sized dogs and going on little adventures. I live close to a park so I always go on walks by the creek. There is also a dog park right by my house if your dog likes to be social with other dogs :) I can take them out for frequent potty breaks and if they need to because I have a fenced yard but I will take them out for walks as frequently as they need. I like to take them everywhere so they can have fun at the beach or a nice field. They will enjoy being indoors too if they prefer it because they can go on our couches.
