About: I currently have a 3 year old cat who I absolutely adore! I've had her since she was 3 months old, until now, and also had a childhood cat back home for many years before she sadly passed away, so it's safe to say I have some good experience with cats! I have also been walking dogs for friends and family for the last few years :) I work from home so I have loads of spare time to hang out with your pets and make sure they have the care and attention they need! I live in an apartment with my cat, so the house is fully kitten-proofed and safe for cats to roam around! I am careful to leave the door and windows closed so there won't be any issues with your pet running outside! I also have loads of cat toys and things to play with! Animals are allowed on the furniture and my bed too so snuggle time is guaranteed :)

About: Hello, my name is Tvega (pronounced Ta-vay-ga) and I love caring for animals! Myself, I have a senior Collie/Retriever named Misty and a dwarf rabbit named Nugget. In addition to caring for my own pets and babysitting for friends (ex: Rye, the Airedale in my pictures), I worked at a boarding facility for dogs and cats. There I gained a lot of knowledge about dog behaviour and training and it has become a passion of mine! There is a special place in my heart for senior dogs and toy breeds like Yorkies, however, I loved working with ALL breeds and learning their different personalities. I also volunteered at a cat rescue for 4 years and developed a better understanding of cat behaviour through the variation of cats that came to the rescue. This included kittens, seniors, cats with health conditions, semi-ferals and timid cats (which were my personal favourites!). With the rescue, I also cared for different species of small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds). I have an open availability at the moment to leave home and take care of animals. Once I start working, my availability will be updated accordingly. Pet care varies upon different personalities and needs of the pets. I will work with owners to provide what their pet specifically needs during their visit.

About: Dogs just make my family and i happy. I grew up with dogs, cats and horses, they are a massive part of the family as far as we are concerned. I would not want to live in a world without dogs, the wagging tails, the grins, the cuddles, the runs, the shaking after a bath, the way they greet us at the door. If they return for more petting, at that point, I pour on the affection. Affection in form of walks, runs, cuddles, ball throwing, whatever they like. I give them time and space to trust me & then honor that trust by being the care-giver I know they need me to be. It's a beautiful moment when you see and feel that moment when they trust you. About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life, be it my own, friends’, and family members’. I think they are truly the best, most loving animals, and I view this as a mutually beneficial arrangement whereby I’ll care for your furry friend and also get to spend time with my favourite animal. I lost my childhood dog a few years ago to cancer, his name was Buddy and he was a golden doodle, as well as my best friend and greatest comfort. In his last days, all I wished was to have a little more time, to take him on all the walks he’d ever want, to sit with him outside. Honestly it’s taken some time to heal from his passing, but I think it’d be the greatest gift to dedicate some of my free time nowadays to walking and caring for other dogs- almost like making up for lost time ya know? Alls to say, I’ll show your dog a great time, give them all the love and care they deserve, because they really are the best things around hahaha. I’m currently expecting to work part-time over the summer before starting grad school in the fall, however I anticipate most of my mornings and afternoons to be relatively free. Loosely, I’d say between 6am-3pm I’d be able to commit to pet care. I’ll treat my clients’ homes with the utmost respect, and ensure everything is taken care of and undisrupted. “Olivia was absolutely amazing with Salvato 🙌 she took him on two walks over the weekend, both of which were challenging with his triggers but she managed as good as we would’ve - if not better! The second walk was extra challenging with the snow and slippery pavement, but she kept herself and Salvato safe through it all. She was punctual, polite, warm and professional with following all our extensive instructions.Not only did she take him for good walks with plenty of sniff breaks, she also took the cutest photos of him too.
