“Allison is amazing! Our pupper loves her visits. She is so kind and accommodating to our schedules. Most importantly she is so good with our Koda. She even brought Koda a new bowl to help her slow her eating- what a gem! Thanks so much Allison 🥰”

“Andrew has been taking care of my dog’s walks for more than 3 weeks now and he has been really great and my dog loves him and his wife a lot. Will be continuing on his services and hope this review will convince whoever’s reading this to trust their pet with him as well.”

About: Hi! I love all furry friends (cats & dogs). I’ve been caring for cats for about 9 years and really enjoy spending time playing with them. I also love going on walks with dogs, it’s always more fun with a companion 😊 I’m patient and attentive, and I always try to make pets feel comfortable and cared for. Looking forward to meeting you and your lovely pets! Pet care fits well into my routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around visits and give pets the attention they need. I’m consistent and reliable, and I make sure each visit is part of my regular routine. I follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions closely to make sure they feel comfortable and safe. During visits, I provide fresh water, proper feeding, and keep their environment clean. I also spend time playing with them or keeping them company, depending on their personality. I pay attention to small details and their behavior, so I can notice if anything seems off. I also send updates with photos and videos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Rosa is amazing! Shes great with Bella, shes so attentive and responsible I am at ease knowing Rosa is taking care of Bella! Thank you for everything me and Bella appreciate you! She has amazing photography skills too”

About: Dogs just make my family and i happy. I grew up with dogs, cats and horses, they are a massive part of the family as far as we are concerned. I would not want to live in a world without dogs, the wagging tails, the grins, the cuddles, the runs, the shaking after a bath, the way they greet us at the door. There is nothing as loving as a dog. PLEASE NOTE: I am only available for house sitting and dog walking for the next while, I am condo living right now. Thank you. 🙏 I begin with new pet clients by allowing them to come to me when they are ready. Then, I begin to pet their fur a couple strokes, then pull back. If they return for more petting, at that point, I pour on the affection. Affection in form of walks, runs, cuddles, ball throwing, whatever they like. I give them time and space to trust me & then honor that trust by being the care-giver I know they need me to be. It's a beautiful moment when you see and feel that moment when they trust you. Precious.
About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was young. Neighbors and friends trusted me to walk and feed their pets. Let me share that love and care with your furry friend! I’m a student currently studying online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I live in a spacious home with my two housemates, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for furry friends. Your pet will have lots of room to play, relax, and feel at home while receiving plenty of love, attention, and care. Your pet is secure with me in our cozy house. You can trust us completely. We will lovingly take care of your precious furry friend!
About: After retiring I adopted Sunshine a mini goldendoodle, my new best friend. Shortly after that I started to take care of my friends and family fur babies when needed. Realized I really enjoyed it and now want to open my home to more dog owners when they need someone to help them out. Can easily change our routine to accommodate your dogs specific need. Am able to give your dog their medication. Looking forward to welcoming your dog into my home. As I am retired I can spend lot of time with your fur baby. Our day usually starts with a hour or so walk. Midday a 45 minute walk. Late afternoon another walk for about 20-30 minutes. The last one of the day is 10-15 minutes. Then off to bed where your fur baby can sleep on the bed, the floor, a dog bed. Except for the 1st walk of the day we are usually joined by friends with their dog. We live off a conservation area so lots of walks are in the woods and exploring neighborhoods. Can easily change our routine to accommodate your fur baby needs. Lots of play time.
About: Dogs have been part of my life since before I knew what 'pet care' even meant; growing up surrounded by them, walking them, feeding them, just because that's what we did. I never thought of it as caring for a dog; it was simply how I grew up. Later, I had my own dog for two years, and dogs have always been part of my partner's story too, going back to DR. Now I have kids who already love dogs the way I did at their age, and that love runs through our whole family, which means your dog won't just be looked after here, it'll be genuinely loved, and it'll feel that love right back I work part-time from home, so I'm around most of the day, every day. That gives me plenty of time to walk, play, and just be present with pups throughout the week, not squeezed into a quick break, but really part of my day. Boarding is available all week, including weekends, since I'm home anyway. I live in a house with a backyard, so dogs have space to play and relax outdoors. There's also a park just a few minutes away that I walk to almost daily, mornings, after meals, and in the evenings, since walking outdoors is part of my own routine too, not just something I do for pets. That means your dog won't just get backyard time, but real walks and fresh air every day, the same way I'd want it for my own.

I am fully available for pet boarding, daily feeding, playing and accompanying pets on weekdays and weekends with flexible time arrangemen My home is quiet and pet‑friendly for cats and dogs. “Sarah was great! She arrived on time and immediately connected with our two dogs. I appreciated her report on how the dogs behaved on their walk and I was nice to get pictures later. We'll definitely use Sarah in the future!”

About: Dog trainer in progress… I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and dogsonalities, and I truly enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s a relaxed walk or a more energetic run. I’m very comfortable with active dogs (I play basketball myself!), and I always make sure they get both the exercise and attention they need. I also have hands-on experience with pet care beyond the basics, including administering oral medications and helping cats use inhalers for asthma. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I’m always patient, gentle, and detail-oriented when caring for them. I am working as a freelancer, so I have plenty of time! I am pretty flexible and I looking forward to meet you and your furry friend : ) I believe all pets are part of our family, and I treat them with the same love and care. From offering a safe and comfortable environment to giving them attention, affection, and playtime, I make sure they feel happy, secure, and truly at home.
About: I’ve dog sat for many pet owners who have relied on me to walk, feed and groom their dogs and puppies. I’m hard-working, caring, dedicated, and organized. I absolutely love taking care of dogs and puppies! I have plenty of time to devote to your pups as I do Rover full time. It is so important to be that your fur ball feels well cared for! I have a spacious park area around my building as a play area for the dogs and moderate sized apartment. I can also crate the dog if needed.

About: I have taken care of dogs since my childhood. My neighbours relied on me to take care of their flurry friends whenever they are busy. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets . You can book me one day or same day for emergency care I live at apartment and my home is very secure for pets. Down at my apartment there is garden to take your pets to a nature walk.

About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life, be it my own, friends’, and family members’. I think they are truly the best, most loving animals, and I view this as a mutually beneficial arrangement whereby I’ll care for your furry friend and also get to spend time with my favourite animal. I lost my childhood dog a few years ago to cancer, his name was Buddy and he was a golden doodle, as well as my best friend and greatest comfort. In his last days, all I wished was to have a little more time, to take him on all the walks he’d ever want, to sit with him outside. Honestly it’s taken some time to heal from his passing, but I think it’d be the greatest gift to dedicate some of my free time nowadays to walking and caring for other dogs- almost like making up for lost time ya know? Alls to say, I’ll show your dog a great time, give them all the love and care they deserve, because they really are the best things around hahaha. I’m currently expecting to work part-time over the summer before starting grad school in the fall, however I anticipate most of my mornings and afternoons to be relatively free. Loosely, I’d say between 6am-3pm I’d be able to commit to pet care. I’ll treat my clients’ homes with the utmost respect, and ensure everything is taken care of and undisrupted. I will interpret your pet’s needs and assess their mood to properly interact with and care for them.
About: I currently have a 3 year old cat who I absolutely adore! I've had her since she was 3 months old, until now, and also had a childhood cat back home for many years before she sadly passed away, so it's safe to say I have some good experience with cats! I have also been walking dogs for friends and family for the last few years :) I work from home so I have loads of spare time to hang out with your pets and make sure they have the care and attention they need! I live in an apartment with my cat, so the house is fully kitten-proofed and safe for cats to roam around! I am careful to leave the door and windows closed so there won't be any issues with your pet running outside! I also have loads of cat toys and things to play with! Animals are allowed on the furniture and my bed too so snuggle time is guaranteed :)
“Olivia is an amazing dog walker! She is kind, reliable, and always keeps me informed. I really appreciate that she sends pictures during the walk and lets me know when she arrives and when she’s finished. My dog is always so happy and excited to see her, which says everything. I highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking for someone caring and trustworthy to walk their dog!”

About: Hello, my name is Tvega (pronounced Ta-vay-ga) and I love caring for animals! Myself, I have a senior Collie/Retriever named Misty and a dwarf rabbit named Nugget. In addition to caring for my own pets and babysitting for friends (ex: Rye, the Airedale in my pictures), I worked at a boarding facility for dogs and cats. There I gained a lot of knowledge about dog behaviour and training and it has become a passion of mine! There is a special place in my heart for senior dogs and toy breeds like Yorkies, however, I loved working with ALL breeds and learning their different personalities. I also volunteered at a cat rescue for 4 years and developed a better understanding of cat behaviour through the variation of cats that came to the rescue. This included kittens, seniors, cats with health conditions, semi-ferals and timid cats (which were my personal favourites!). With the rescue, I also cared for different species of small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds). I have an open availability at the moment to leave home and take care of animals. Once I start working, my availability will be updated accordingly. Pet care varies upon different personalities and needs of the pets. I will work with owners to provide what their pet specifically needs during their visit.

Ezri has a quiet way about her that has my pup eager to obey. Ezri is getting to know my pup through scheduled walks and visits before I have to leave her for the first time. This may be more than is needed but I feel confident leaving my pup and having Ezri care for her. She presents as a true professional, with prepared answers and questions.

Mel was absolutely amazing! I felt at ease leaving my baby with her. She took him on great adventures and trained him as well. I will definitely be rebooking! She also sent a lot of photos and was very understanding of his occasional grumpy behaviour. I’m so glad I found her!

Rosa has been absolutely wonderful with Bella. She is reliable, responsible, and always keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about Bella’s well-being, and I can tell that Bella absolutely loves spending time with her. One of the things I appreciate most is how communicative and trustworthy Rosa is. Whenever Bella is with her, I feel completely comfortable knowing she’s in great hands. It’s such a relief to have someone I can depend on and trust with my dog. I couldn’t be happier with the care Rosa provides. Bella is always happy to see her, and that says everything. I highly recommend Rosa to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and responsible dog walker!

Niharika was absolutely amazing! She followed all instructions carefully and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire stay. She provided tons of updates, pictures, and videos, which really helped put my mind at ease while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my dog and treated him with so much love and attention. Knowing he was in such good hands allowed me to actually relax and enjoy my vacation. I’m so grateful for the care she gave him and the love she showed my roommates cats as well! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. I’ll definitely be rebooking with her in the future!

First time using Krupali's dog walking service and really happy and impressed with her interaction with my almost senior dog. She took very good care of him, made every attempt to understand his walking requirements given that he's got health issues. From the videos she shared I noticed she gave him a lot of positive enforcement and did not rush him through the walk. The weather got a bit unpredictable during the walk and she took some time out to give my boy a bit of a break. Really appreciated that . Overall very happy with her service. Will definitely be returning.

Michael and Nicole have been amazing to work with. They’re walking my dog over Christmas and have been super easy to communicate with, always responsive, and very understanding. They’re kind and reliable, and my dog took an immediate liking to them, which says a lot.

Mirelda is an exceptional person and dog sitter/walker! My dog absolutely adored her from day one, and it was easy to see why. She went above and beyond every single time - not just taking him for a walk, but also making sure he was on track with his training, playing with him afterward and even cleaning him with wipes. From the first day I was more than comfortable with her handling him, because I could see how trustworthy and conscientious she is with everything. She followed all instructions with total professionalism, communicated clearly and consistently, and was always reliable. Most importantly, she has real experience handling challenging rescue dogs like mine, and her calm, confident and caring energy made all the difference. I couldn’t recommend her more highly - she is truly one of a kind! We were so lucky and grateful to have her take care of our dog. Salvato & I thank you Mirelda 💕

Andrew was fantastic! He was punctual, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the walk. He followed all my instructions carefully, especially regarding my dog’s medical needs, which gave me total peace of mind. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the dogs he looks after. Highly recommend!

Fangxing did a great job walking Reni while I was away on vacation for a week. Reni can be anxious and stubborn, but Fangxing was able to adapt to his needs. I'm relieved to learn that Reni enjoyed all their walks together with no problems. Also, Reni didn't really bark when she came over?? That's a pleasant surprise as he has alert dog tendencies. Overall I'm very satisfied and glad to have met a reliable sitter / walker in the neighbourhood!

From the very first meeting, my dogs felt instantly comfortable and excited around Mukund. Walks are on time, and they’re getting plenty of exercise, love, and fun. I really appreciate the updates and photos after each walk, it gives me peace of mind knowing my pets are safe and happy. Reliable, kind, and truly passionate about animals, highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Mississauga choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
