About: I have an active 5 yr old rescue dog who I initially fostered. We have tried a number of dog sports including barn hunt, sprinter, lure and weight pull. While I'm not a dog trainer, I am well educated on dog body language, training, reactivity and fulfillment. I'm happy to maintain consistency in your training journey. On walks I like to focus on the dog being able to sniff and explore their environment. I believe that walks are for the dog so I let them dictate most of it as long as its safe. I also like to take moments to build your dog's confidence through play and urban agility. If there is any training you would like me to keep up on walks such as loose leash walking, I will gladly do so. I'm also experienced with various tools such as head halters, prong, e collars. I work a hybrid schedule and would be available for daycare and boarding during those days and weekends. Repeat clients will get priority for bookings Safety is my number one priority, baby gates, no indoor plants, no harsh chemicals in/around dogs space, meds/toxic foods are locked away. Crates for safety and separation, no high value chews or toys such as bones left out. Dogs will also be fed in separate spaces to prevent food related guarding. I put a lot of time into training and playing with my dog and any pet in my home will be given the same care
“Gouri was amazing and very caring. Vasu our beagle had an amazing time. He seemed happy and very energetic when we picked him up. I was getting constant updates and lots of pictures so I knew Vasu was enjoying his visit. Vasu played with Charlie their dog and was exhausted by 8:30 pm. Gouri was very accommodating as we got 45 minutes late picking up Vasu as we got stuck in snow storm on our way home. I highly recommend Gouri to anyone who is looking for care for their furry baby. About: I have my own dog, Leo, so I’m very used to the day to day details that come with caring for a dog, not just walks and feeding. I pay close attention to things like appetite, energy, bathroom habits, stomach issues and small changes in behaviour because those things can tell you a lot about how a dog is feeling. I’m comfortable giving medication when needed, following specific feeding instructions and keeping to a dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I’ve also had to learn a lot about sensitive stomachs, diet changes, basic first aid and knowing when something seems off. Leo is part of the home too. He is affectionate and playful, so dogs who enjoy company can have a buddy around, but I also understand that not every dog wants constant interaction. I’m happy to give them space and let them settle in at their own pace. What matters most to me is knowing the little details about your dog so I can care for them in a way that actually feels familiar to them. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m around for most of the day and already have a routine with Leo that includes walks, feeding times, playtime, potty breaks and plenty of downtime together. If another dog is staying with us, I can easily work around their usual schedule too. I’d rather keep their routine as close to normal as possible, especially for meals, walks and sleep, so they can settle in comfortably without too much change. Dogs staying with us become part of our everyday routine. Since I work from home, I’m around throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles or simply having them hang out beside me while I work. I follow their usual feeding schedule, medication needs and the little routines they are used to at home because I know those things can make a big difference when they are somewhere new. Since Leo is also part of the home, I would always want the dogs to meet first before confirming a stay. I think it is important to see how comfortable they are around each other and make sure it feels like a good fit for everyone. I would rather take that extra time in the beginning than assume two dogs will automatically get along. Once they are here, I want them to feel comfortable, included and cared for in the way that suits their personality. Some dogs want to play and be around you all day, while others need a little more space and time to settle in. I am happy to follow their lead and make the stay feel as normal and easy as possible for them.

About: I have owned a cat previously (he passed away 😔) and I have also been dog sitting my neighbour’s dog for almost a year now (sept 2026 onwards) I am a full time graduate student, working part time and living with my dad. Most of my classes are online and i’m home most days except when I work 4-8pm. I can take the pets outside morning and evening for a walk and bathroom breaks during the day when I’m home. I love going on walks myself, so going with a dog only makes it more fun I currently am a student and work part-time very rarely, I have time to pet sit during the week and weekends. I’ve also cared for family members pets when needed I have a soft spot for senior pets and prefer pets up to 25 pounds as I know I can manage them very well. I do best with low and medium energy pets. I only care for one pet at a time so that I can give that pet my full attention and cater to his or her needs.
