“Yingxue is so sweet, and we’re so so happy that my partner and I met her through Rover. She took the best care of our cat Tao while we were vacationing for a week. She sent us so many pics of him everyday, and that helped us feel very reassured! Tao looked very relaxed and well taken care of in the pictures and that meant a lot to us. She went out of the way and left us a cute little Polaroid of her time with him. It’s clear that Yingxue loves cats, and has a way with them! She followed all of our instructions to a t, made sure he was fed, brushed, played with, and given his asthmatic inhaler on time. She was also very respectful of our home, made sure the humidifier was running smoothly, left things very neat and clean, and took care of all our plants as well. About: My love for animals has moved me to care for them since I was 15 years old. I have many years of experience not only dog walking but also with dog sitting. I have quite a lot of knowledge when it comes to dogs with disabilities as my own Golden suffered from megaesofagus from a young age. About: After retiring I adopted Sunshine a mini goldendoodle, my new best friend. Shortly after that I started to take care of my friends and family fur babies when needed. Realized I really enjoyed it and now want to open my home to more dog owners when they need someone to help them out. Can easily change our routine to accommodate your dogs specific need. Am able to give your dog their medication. Looking forward to welcoming your dog into my home. As I am retired I can spend lot of time with your fur baby. Our day usually starts with a hour or so walk. Midday a 45 minute walk. Late afternoon another walk for about 20-30 minutes. The last one of the day is 10-15 minutes. Then off to bed where your fur baby can sleep on the bed, the floor, a dog bed. Except for the 1st walk of the day we are usually joined by friends with their dog. We live off a conservation area so lots of walks are in the woods and exploring neighborhoods. Can easily change our routine to accommodate your fur baby needs. Lots of play time.

About: Dogs just make my family and i happy. I grew up with dogs, cats and horses, they are a massive part of the family as far as we are concerned. I would not want to live in a world without dogs, the wagging tails, the grins, the cuddles, the runs, the shaking after a bath, the way they greet us at the door. There is nothing as loving as a dog. PLEASE NOTE: I am only available for house sitting and dog walking for the next while, I am condo living right now. Thank you. 🙏 I begin with new pet clients by allowing them to come to me when they are ready. Then, I begin to pet their fur a couple strokes, then pull back. If they return for more petting, at that point, I pour on the affection. Affection in form of walks, runs, cuddles, ball throwing, whatever they like. I give them time and space to trust me & then honor that trust by being the care-giver I know they need me to be. It's a beautiful moment when you see and feel that moment when they trust you. I've had her since she was 3 months old, until now, and also had a childhood cat back home for many years before she sadly passed away, so it's safe to say I have some good experience with cats! I have also been walking dogs for friends and family for the last few years :) I work from home so I have loads of spare time to hang out with your pets and make sure they have the care and attention they need! I live in an apartment with my cat, so the house is fully kitten-proofed and safe for cats to roam around! I am careful to leave the door and windows closed so there won't be any issues with your pet running outside! I also have loads of cat toys and things to play with! About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life, be it my own, friends’, and family members’. I think they are truly the best, most loving animals, and I view this as a mutually beneficial arrangement whereby I’ll care for your furry friend and also get to spend time with my favourite animal. I lost my childhood dog a few years ago to cancer, his name was Buddy and he was a golden doodle, as well as my best friend and greatest comfort. In his last days, all I wished was to have a little more time, to take him on all the walks he’d ever want, to sit with him outside. Honestly it’s taken some time to heal from his passing, but I think it’d be the greatest gift to dedicate some of my free time nowadays to walking and caring for other dogs- almost like making up for lost time ya know? Alls to say, I’ll show your dog a great time, give them all the love and care they deserve, because they really are the best things around hahaha. I’m currently expecting to work part-time over the summer before starting grad school in the fall, however I anticipate most of my mornings and afternoons to be relatively free. Loosely, I’d say between 6am-3pm I’d be able to commit to pet care. I’ll treat my clients’ homes with the utmost respect, and ensure everything is taken care of and undisrupted. I will interpret your pet’s needs and assess their mood to properly interact with and care for them.
“Olivia was absolutely amazing with Salvato 🙌 she took him on two walks over the weekend, both of which were challenging with his triggers but she managed as good as we would’ve - if not better! The second walk was extra challenging with the snow and slippery pavement, but she kept herself and Salvato safe through it all. Our building also offers excellent amenities, including a dedicated pet spa area where dogs’ paws are cleaned before entering, as well as a designated walking path for their daily exercise and bathroom needs. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. Im currently at home. So I'll be able to take care of your dog throughout the week. I like to take them for a walk 3-4 times in a day. Play with them and also provide them food 2-3 times a day depending upon their schedule. I have a huge park in my building area if incase your dog wants to go out and enjoy a sunny day! I also feed them food as per the instructions given by the dog owner. I make sure I put up their leash before I take them out. I also make them comfortable and cozy when they want to sleep. Play with them, pet them and cuddle them most of the times.

About: After retiring I adopted Sunshine a mini goldendoodle, my new best friend. Shortly after that I started to take care of my friends and family fur babies when needed. Our day usually starts with a hour or so walk. Midday a 45 minute walk. Late afternoon another walk for about 20-30 minutes. The last one of the day is 10-15 minutes. Then off to bed where your fur baby can sleep on the bed, the floor, a dog bed. Except for the 1st walk of the day we are usually joined by friends with their dog. We live off a conservation area so lots of walks are in the woods and exploring neighborhoods. Can easily change our routine to accommodate your fur baby needs. Lots of play time.
About: Hello, my name is Tvega (pronounced Ta-vay-ga) and I love caring for animals! Myself, I have a senior Collie/Retriever named Misty and a dwarf rabbit named Nugget. In addition to caring for my own pets and babysitting for friends (ex: Rye, the Airedale in my pictures), I worked at a boarding facility for dogs and cats. About: I have always loved dogs and have a 5 yr old rescue dog who I initially fostered. I volunteer with a local rescue and am very well educated on dog body language, training, reactivity and fulfillment. I have also worked with a professional dog trainer so I'm happy to maintain consistency in your training journey. On walks I like to focus on the dog being able to sniff and explore their environment. I believe that walks are for the dog so I let them dictate most of it as long as its safe. I also like to take moments to build your dog's confidence through play and urban agility. If there is any training you would like me to keep up on walks such as loose leash walking, I will gladly do so. I work from home twice a week and would be available for daycare and boarding during those days and weekends. I have a flexible schedule so there is still some availability on other week days if it suits the dog's needs Safety is my number one priority, baby gates, no indoor plants, no harsh chemicals in/around dogs space, meds/toxic foods are locked away. Crates for safety and separation, no high value chews or toys such as bones left out. Dogs will also be fed in separate spaces to prevent food related guarding. One on one time and training will be given to each dog. I put a lot of time into training and playing with my dog and any pet in my care will be given the same care

Mila (our dog) was excited to explore the spacious house and fenced backyard. Other family members who happened to be there (we did have advanced notice) gave Mila lots of affection. Baltej had an excellent grasp of how to care for a pet and was very responsive to our dog's individual needs, including feeding and scheduling. The space and carer were very safe. On pick, Mila did not seem that thrilled to be leaving with us. She looked back longingly at her new 'family'. We can definately highly recommend Baltej for our pet.”
