This is the first time he stayed in a new environment. Moonja was very good with him and send me pictures and videos of him running around her fenced in yard. I certainly felt better knowing that he was well looked after. I will definitely use Moonja for a longer period of time when we travel.”

The whole family got involved: walks, backyard playtime, cuddles and they treated him like he had always been a part of their home. Rommel sent multiple photo and video updates every single day, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. But what really blew me away was when Adonis ran out of treats, Rommel went out and bought more without a second thought. That kind of care and initiative isn’t something you can teach, it just shows the type of person he is. I came back to one happy, well-loved dog, and that says everything. Entire household has passed Peel Police background checks. I cater to YOUR busy schedule. I’m home of the “2 min Express pickup and drop off”. I have your dog ready to go and we wait for you on my driveway. Dog baths are always complimentary with each overnight stay, upon request. I quit my corporate job 2 years ago. Your dog is my full time priority. Plus, Juju (my daughter) is always around! You get the bonus of 2 people! I live in a calm, peaceful home- just the 3 of us. Fully fenced yard. Most dogs love it here SO much, they sit on top of their blankets, so we can’t pack it up, for them to go home. No edibles/recreational substances in the home. Fast responses via cell when your pet is here, for your peace of mind.

About: Dogs and cats have been part of my life for 18 years, like family. I raised Labradors from the time they were tiny puppies till they grew old, so I have been through puppy training, house training, and also the slower, more gentle care that older dogs need. I have also lived with a German Shepherd, so bigger and more active dogs do not worry me either. Cats came into my life a little later, and they taught me something different. With cats you cannot force anything, you just have to be patient and let them come to you. My own cat Melody (a) Cookie Brook, is here with us in Canada rescued from Mississauga Animal Shelter, calm and used to people, so your cat will have gentle company too if that is something you would like. Since I am home through the day, your pet is not getting a rushed visit and then left alone. There is someone actually present, checking on them, sitting with them, giving them time. Back in India, I also contribute to animals through Besant memorial animal dispensary that looks after animals. I mention this only because it shows this has always come from love for animals, nothing more than that. My Pet Experience Roshini (Labrador) raised her from 2008 to 2013 Jeni (Labrador) raised her from 2010 to 2017 Jeni 2 (Labrador) with us since 2017, living happily in India Emess (German Shepherd) with us since 2020, living happily in India Precious (Domestic Cat) with us since 2023, living happily in India Melody (a) Cookie Brook (Domestic Cat) joined our family in 2025, now living happily with us here in Canada Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work full time from home, so I am giving attention throughout the day, not just at fixed times. Mornings usually start with feeding and a walk if it is a dog. Since I am home all day, every day, I stay relaxed and available, checking in regularly for company, bathroom breaks, and playtime whenever needed, not rushing through it at any point. With cats, I keep a steady rhythm for feeding and litter cleaning, but also give them their own space and time. This flexibility stays the same whether it is a weekday or a weekend. Your pet will be cared for in my home, which is a gated apartment on the 20th floor in a pet friendly building. The balcony is fully netted for cat protection, so there is no risk of pets going near the edge, it is completely secure. Since it is a gated building, there is also an added layer of safety before anyone can even reach the door. Inside, I make sure the space stays calm and safe, no loose wires or small objects a pet could get into, and food, water, and litter are kept in a consistent spot so pets settle in easily. My own cat is also at home, so the environment is already used to having a pet moving around comfortably. I have attached a photo of the netted balcony below for your kind perusal, so you can see the safety setup for yourself.

The best dog sitters we have ever had! We have used Mike and Melanie several times for a few years now; they are honest, reliable, flexible, great communicators and always so kind as well as loving to our dog. Muneeba was incredible. She clearly loves animals, and it was definitely felt by my pup the minute she met her. My pup instantly took to her on the meet and greet, and I knew I had chosen the right person to care for her while I was away for a week. She sent pictures and videos every day. Let me know every detail of how she was doing, and she clearly had a wonderful time staying with her. She’s never been away from me since she was born. This is her first time staying overnight with anybody anytime and the two of them clearly bonded incredibly for the week while I left her with her. When I returned, my pup hid behind her as she didn’t recognize me at first, but eventually came around and gave me a kiss and was glad that I was home. So yes, I would highly highly highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs. She is such a sweet person and her father as well. They truly know how to take care of your loved one. I will definitely be using her in again in the future for all my sitting needs for my pup. Thank you for taking care of her. I’m so happy to know you. I’m so happy to have found somebody that I can trust the care of my sweet pup to anytime in the future. If I could give her 10 stars, I would.
Mika stayed with Paola for a couple of days, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. When I unexpectedly inherited Buffy after my mom moved into long-term care, I was heartbroken. My mom adored him, but unfortunately both my brother and I are highly allergic to cats. Lindsay and Jonathan took great care of our dog, Zoe. She is an older dog and they were very understanding and accommodating. Gouri and Arit were absolutely amazing. From the introduction to the 36 hours staycation they looked after my pet like it was their own. I was nervous about leaving Winnie as I’ve never left her before with someone so I was unsure how she would react or behave or even how I would react or behave. Let’s just say my nerves were high. However Gouri and Arot were the nicest and friendliest people and calmed both mine and Winnie’s nerves. Thank you so much it was an absolute pleasure.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
