About: I have my own dog, Leo, so I’m very used to the day to day details that come with caring for a dog, not just walks and feeding. I pay close attention to things like appetite, energy, bathroom habits, stomach issues and small changes in behaviour because those things can tell you a lot about how a dog is feeling. I’m comfortable giving medication when needed, following specific feeding instructions and keeping to a dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. I’ve also had to learn a lot about sensitive stomachs, diet changes, basic first aid and knowing when something seems off. Leo is part of the home too. He is affectionate and playful, so dogs who enjoy company can have a buddy around, but I also understand that not every dog wants constant interaction. I’m happy to give them space and let them settle in at their own pace. What matters most to me is knowing the little details about your dog so I can care for them in a way that actually feels familiar to them. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m around for most of the day and already have a routine with Leo that includes walks, feeding times, playtime, potty breaks and plenty of downtime together. If another dog is staying with us, I can easily work around their usual schedule too. I’d rather keep their routine as close to normal as possible, especially for meals, walks and sleep, so they can settle in comfortably without too much change. Dogs staying with us become part of our everyday routine. Since I work from home, I’m around throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles or simply having them hang out beside me while I work. I follow their usual feeding schedule, medication needs and the little routines they are used to at home because I know those things can make a big difference when they are somewhere new. Since Leo is also part of the home, I would always want the dogs to meet first before confirming a stay. I think it is important to see how comfortable they are around each other and make sure it feels like a good fit for everyone. I would rather take that extra time in the beginning than assume two dogs will automatically get along. Once they are here, I want them to feel comfortable, included and cared for in the way that suits their personality. Some dogs want to play and be around you all day, while others need a little more space and time to settle in. I am happy to follow their lead and make the stay feel as normal and easy as possible for them.

About: We have been the loving owners of our dog, Brutus for 17 years and just recently had to say good-bye to him. Our condo feels empty and we would love to welcome in dogs to spoil while you are away! We are around the corner from a dog park and plenty of green space so your dog can play to their heart's content. We primarily have weekend availability so that we can dedicate all of our time to your pup, but longer stays are available. We'd be happy with dogs of any age! Our prime time for pet vacations are the weekends because that is when we can give your pup the full attention they deserve. Longer stays are available throughout the year, and our summer availability is all week because one of us is a teacher. We know how important it is that your pup gets exercise and attention so we focus on weekend bookings so that we can spoil them, take them for multiple walks and trips to the dog park, and make sure they are spoiled while they are here. Dogs have full range of the condo and can curl up on couches and beds. We want our place to be a home away from home for your dog!

May was an excellent sitter for Pori! This was my first time leaving Pori with a sitter, so I was understandably quite stressed, but May made the whole experience so much easier. Pori was not eating at all during the first couple of days and was having difficulty settling in. May was incredibly kind and patient with her throughout that time and kept me updated multiple times a day. She was also very honest and transparent about how Pori was doing, which I really appreciated. When I came to pick Pori up, May gave me detailed feedback about her entire stay and shared everything she had observed. She is very welcoming, takes feedback positively, and also shares her own feedback in a thoughtful way. I felt that Pori was genuinely cared for and in good hands. I would definitely book with May again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, patient, honest, and responsible sitter.
Yangyi was absolutely wonderful with Cash! From the very beginning she was so kind, caring, and understanding. The constant updates and photos she sent made me feel so comfortable and reassured while I was away. It meant so much knowing Cash was in such good hands. She was incredibly patient with him, especially considering he’s still a puppy and can get extremely excited and hyper at times. It’s a relief to know that we can enjoy our vacation while Snoopy is safe and enjoying a nice time as well. This was our second time leaving Haze with Emily, and once again, we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave him. Haze is a very picky eater and usually only eats when he is hand-fed. Emily was incredibly patient with him and went the extra mile to make sure he was eating properly and getting the nutrition he needed every day. She truly took the time to understand his needs and care for him like her own. We also really appreciated Emily’s constant updates and the photos she sent us throughout Haze’s stay. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian.
