Hi everyone! My name is Christa from Mississauga (Erin Mills/Burnhamthorpe area). I live with my 4-year-old, 24 lb Cocker Spaniel mix named Lucy. My boyfriend Mauro also assists me with dog sitting and together we love spending time with the pups we care for. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals especially dogs ever since I was a kid and would take in strays against my parents will! Haha We love taking Lucy for nature walks and dog parks in the warmer months. We have a patient and outgoing personality and having Lucy complements it. If you pick us as your sitter for your pup, I’m sure they will have a great time and so do you.. Worry-free ❤️ My photo gallery is updated with pictures of the pups that have been in my care ranging between 10-90 lbs ☺️ Dog Boarding is limited to only one dog at a time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and fully looked after. I am also certified in Pet First Aid (Red Cross) + Dog First Aid & CPR with Dog Training.

This was our second time leaving Bonnie with Christa for a full week and Bonnie was right at home! She got lots of exercise, tons of playtime with Lucy, and so much love and attention. We received thoughtful updates and lots of pictures every day. We’re so glad to have found Christa and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter ☺️
Christa is the most wonderful sitter! She has watched my Theo countless times over the last few months, and he’s genuinely excited to see her every time. She treats him like he’s her own, and I couldn’t feel more comfortable and happy knowing he’s safe with her throughout the day. She takes him on several walks and sends updates along with pictures. Could not recommend enough!!
It was Cooper’s first day care session with Christa and he seemed to have gotten comfortable with her pretty quickly! She sent photos and updates of Cooper throughout the day which reassured me :) Thanks again Christa!
Christa was great with Theo and couldn’t recommend her more! She sent plenty of updates with pictures and videos throughout the day, and I could always see that Theo was enjoying his time either in Christa’s apartment or on a walk. I was able to drop Theo off and pick him up quickly and Christa was always responsive over text.

Schedule
I’m currently working from home and walking your pup however many walks they need in a day isn’t a problem. I’m grateful that my work set-up provides more quality time and opportunities to interact with your pup throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities! I live in an apartment (2nd floor) and my unit is right by an exit door so it’s convenient for walks and taking the pups out. We have a beautiful trail just right behind our building. Potty breaks and walks are not a problem even if I live in an apartment especially having Lucy when she was 12 weeks old, you can imagine how many potty breaks we took the first few months! 😆😅 Being around dogs has always been a passion of mine since I was young. Rest assured, your pups will be in great care with us.

As your dog sitter, I’ll create an engaging and enjoyable experience for your pup. Our days will start with invigorating walks in the park and lots of sniffing to stimulate their senses. The fresh air and changing scenery will keep your dog stimulated and happy. I’ll ensure your dog has a fulfilling day filled with activities that cater to their personality, ensuring they feel happy and cared for while you’re away.
