About: Our family love all pets, and our little husky is very calm and loves playing around with all breeds. I've grown with dogs and other kinds of pets all my life, back in Mexico, friends and family would trust their furry friends with us. Not a professional groomer or anything but have raised, trained and cared for many, I used to go help our vet, when I wanted to be one as a kid. I work from home, so I’m around most of the day to give your pup plenty of attention. Our husky, Blue, is my walking buddy—we usually go on a couple of walks a day, and she also enjoys hanging out in the backyard or napping on the couch. If you’re comfortable with it, I’m happy to take your dog along to the dog park, just like I do for Blue. I can give oral medications if needed and will always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing how your pet is doing. Since I work from home, my schedule is flexible. I typically go on 2–3 walks a day and have plenty of time for play breaks, backyard time, or just keeping your pup company. My daughter has a few activities during the week, but there’s always someone home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. Feeding times can be adjusted to match your dog’s routine, though I usually feed Blue twice a day. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. Our home is dog-friendly, with a fenced backyard where pups can play and explore securely. Inside, dogs are welcome to relax on the couch or find a cozy spot of their own. I always keep an eye on interactions to make sure everyone feels safe and happy. Whether in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions carefully—whether that means sticking to a strict schedule, avoiding certain foods, or keeping walks calm and controlled. You can trust that your dog will be treated like part of the family here.
“My absolute first choice every single time! I can tell how at home my dogs feel with Christine and her family. I'm able to relax and enjoy my time away without any concerns at all. Lucy, Zoe and I are lucky to have Christine as a pup sitter! Thank you so much!”

About: Your furry friend will enjoy walks, playtime, cuddles, and lots of love in a safe, home environment. I work from home, so they'll receive plenty of attention throughout the day, along with regular updates and photos so you always know how they're doing. Every dog is treated like family. I work from home with flexible schedules, so I'm always around to provide attention, potty breaks, playtime, walks, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet will never feel alone. I provide a safe, clean, smoke-free home where pets are treated like family. Our friendly cockapoo, Chico, enjoys the company of other dogs, and I always introduce pets gradually based on their comfort level. I have a backyard, beautiful walking trails nearby, and follow each pet's feeding, exercise, and care routine. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages for complete peace of mind.

“Patricia was amazing! She took the time to ask plenty of questions to understand my dog’s specific needs and was a huge help while I was out of town. I would highly recommend hiring Patricia and will definitely do so again myself.”
“We left our just over 1 y.o. toy yorkie with Maggie for a week (Nov17-24 2019). He has never been left anywhere before with anybody so I was abit nervous. But he was great over there. Maggie and her husband are great with the dogs. I was not worried. Maggie updated me about every other day by text ( I did not get any pictures updates though) about how my puppy was doing. I would def recommend her to anyone with my eyes closed. Her price is also very reasonable.”

“Jacky and Rocio are amazing with Ruby. Ruby gets so excited walking in their door. We know she has a great time with them and is well loved and taken care of. The last trip was 10 days and they were amazing with her. Thanks again!”

“Anne is friendly and accommodating and our dogs took to her right away. We appreciated the photos and updates about the pups. Knowing our dogs were cared for and happy made our trip away more enjoyable.”

“Irene took good care of Pepper again and kept in contact with us with pictures and updates. If you are looking for a caring pet sitter, Irene is a perfect choice. Thanks, Irene, for putting our minds at ease so that we could enjoy our trip.”

“Marc and Christina (along with their lovely two children) were amazing with Lexi. She quickly became part of their family. Marc sent pictures every day (and even some videos!) to show how happy she was. HIGHLY recommend them if you want to be sure your fur baby is well taken care of and loved by a wonderful family.”

“I couldn't be happier to have found Lisa, who took care of my tiny pup pomeranian Maki-lou. She was so reassuring from the beginning and she went above and beyond looking after Maki-lou for 24h. I appreciated her updates, fotos and videos. She was very flexible to adapt to Maki-lou's routine and provided him with comfort in her place. I noticed that Maki-lou was happy went i went to pick him up. Lisa was so sweet to gift Maki a toy that he liked at her place 💗”

“Raquel and her family took very good care of Leo. He was not only very well taken care of but very loved on by the whole family. He was busy in various activities during his stay”

“Misa was wonderful in accommodating us last minute. She was the first sitter we have used on Rover and she knew I was nervous leaving our puppy. She was wonderful in putting both Theodore and myself at ease. She sent several pics and videos and kept me in the loop. I appreciated her kindness and calm nature. I would highly recommend her.”

“Unfortunately our minder could no longer look after Watson so we turned to Rover. We read the reviews and Jeff was the first person we asked to meet. After meeting Jeff, we looked no further. We had a friend and his dog visiting when he came over and both dogs loved him! He truly is the "dog whisperer". When i dropped Watson off, he also met Jeffs partner who is lovely as well. Watson instantly recognized Jeff after the first short meeting they had a month ago. We love that he is the only dog there - Watson is old, fat and sometimes grumpy corgi Jack Russel who far prefers sitting with humans. Jeffs house is just like being at home for Watson - relaxing on the sofa. And they also picked him up to put him on and off the sofa and carrying up and down the stairs - just as we do. Oh and we got lots of photos! Made us feel so much better. We feel confident in going away for our longer trips now we have a safe and loving home for Watson.”

“Mana treated our dog like her own and we couldn’t ask for more! She is super attentive and mindful and it was such a comfort to know how well he was looked after. We will not hesitate to rebook!”

“Thank you so much Blaine, for treating Leo like your own. Will definitely board Leo with you again. Appreciate the time chatting about the time spent when I picked him up. Thank you.”

“We had a very good experience with Patricia! She asked all the right questions and was more than willing to accommodate our pet's needs given his very first visit. Our dog had a good time at her place and she took very good care of him with several walks / playtime and especially at bedtime. Will definitely recommend!”

“Took wonderful care of our 3 month old golden retriever puppy and provided us with regular updates and photos! So great to work with and would 100% have our dog stay with them again ☺️”

“Kathleen made Lucy feel so at home! I really appreciated doing a meet and greet with her so that when I dropped Lucy off, she ran right over to her. Kathleen asked all the right questions to make sure Lucy felt comfortable throughout the weekend. Lucy loved her time with her and I loved knowing how cared for Lucy was ❤️”

“Sharath and his family took such great care of Pepper. They sent me pictures of him having a great time playing outside. A nice addition was his two kids who adored Pepper and treated him like family. I would definitely use Sharath again the next time we have to leave Pepper with somebody!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Burlington
This was our first time reaching out to a dog sitter for our dog, Kash, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Cailynn and Roger immediately put us at ease and provided such a loving, friendly, and safe home environment, with plenty of space for Kash to roam around and feel comfortable. They communicated with us almost daily, sending pictures and brief updates, which was incredibly reassuring and allowed us to relax knowing Kash was happy and being well cared for. What a wonderful, loving family to welcome our dog into their home. We are so grateful for the care and attention they gave Kash and would not hesitate to have him stay with Carolyn and Roger again. Kash seemed a little disappointed to be coming home!! Highly recommend Cailynn and Roger and feel very fortunate to have found them.

Kathleen made Lucy feel so at home! I really appreciated doing a meet and greet with her so that when I dropped Lucy off, she ran right over to her. Kathleen asked all the right questions to make sure Lucy felt comfortable throughout the weekend. Lucy loved her time with her and I loved knowing how cared for Lucy was ❤️

I would recommend to everyone, she was very caring for my 2 dogs, and loved them more than anything. Communication was always present, and was very thorough. She was very helpful and kind. Our situation was a bit complicated, and she was very helpful in managing booking dates, pickups and dropoff. My family trusted her with our dogs for almost a month, and we would do it again. 10/10

Karen took fantastic care of our miniature Dachshund Coco while we traveled to France for two weeks. She was careful to administer her daily medication, and Coco came back home rested, stimulated and well cared for :) We got regular updates, and could not be happier. Thank you so much

This was the first time we left our dog overnight, and felt more comfortable doing it with Renee, based 1st on reviews, then we did a meetup, and then the day of, we explained everything we brought over, and was kept updated and feedback on how our dog behaved with the different normal events of the day, which was fantastic. We also liked the fact that they have a female dog like ours, and children who love animals, and that they know the many different aspects of the dogs. Yes, i would recommend keeping dog with this family, and would keep my dog with them again.

Dog owners who are anxious about leaving their beloved family member with a stranger can be reassured with Shannon. Shannon is professional, responsible, and communicates updates regularly. Her family (and dog Lulu) are all part of a caring team. We’ve left our Lab with Shannon for weekends and 2-week vacations and we were always very happy with the results.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
