About: I'm finally making my return to Rover! And bringing back much more experience, knowledge, and skills. 🙋🏻‍♀️ For the past few years, I have trained and boarded a variety of dogs - most of them being rescues. ❤️ When I first signed up to be a foster paw-rent, I dove into the deep end in order to be ready to receive a new dog and provide the best care and home for him. Our first foster dog ended up have a whole host of behavioural issues that really helped us learn how to deal with dogs that may need a little extra attention. I have very valuable experience with reactive dogs that also deal with separation anxiety. Also, my former roommate and I rescued a pup who now is full time with her (I moved into my own house) and even has her own kids book series! (Penny Tries to Boil the Ocean) I am an active individual and enjoy going on adventures! I will protect your dog from anyone and anything so your furry friend will be safe with me and will also feel loved and have lots of fun! I used to be a former lifeguard/swim instructor so if your dog loves to swim, we're meant to be! :) My partner is a paramedic and when he's not at work, he loves to partake in the walking/training/entertainment. I am also flexible so you never have to feel stressed when working with me. I am quick to answer in case you need to reach me. I am against littering so rest assured that I will be a good poop-picker-upper! PS, if you want a mini-photoshoot of your dog while you're at work/away, I'm your person. It also gives me flexibility so for the most part, I can accommodate different schedules whether if it's for pickup/drop off or for your dog's routine. I live in a lovely neighbourhood and am in a house that is dog-friendly with a small backyard. We have a cat at home, who only gets along with dogs.

About: I am a wildlife biologist who has grown up surrounded by pets. I have a couple of my own cats at home that I adopted over a year ago. I am very experienced with all types of dogs and love going on walks. I miss spending time with dogs so I will take great care of yours, and get them the exercise they need! I love all types of animals! I am happy to come visit your dogs, or cats, to help with their care, or take them on a walk! I'd be happy to take older dogs on slower walks around the neighbourhood, and energetic dogs can get their exercise on a long and fast-paced walk! I can't wait to meet your dog! About: I’ve taken care of awkward dogs, affectionate dogs, chill dogs and I have experience with feeding them their special diets as instructed and following any specific potty time habits they may have to help them go potty. For example this one dog I dogsat would have to spin around in circles a few times before he went potty. I have experience staying overnight with dogs as well as cats. I have cats of my own as well and I’ve been around all kinds of pets my whole life so I’m very comfortable around most pets. I will be attending full time school in September but I will have time in between classes or before/after where I can schedule play dates and walks. When I enter the home I keep my energy calm. I try to get a read on whether the pet is comfortable with being approached. Then if they are, I hold out my hand so they can sniff it and familiarize themselves with my scent. I will follow any specific instructions there are so I can make sure they’re following their routine. I will play with them. A lot of the dogs I take care of enjoy tug o war or fetch. But with any pet, before play time I would want to have some time to just sit around them so they can get used to me before we start playing/walking. If possible I would prefer to set up a test meeting with pets and parents beforehand.

About: I have had my dog for 10 years now, and I absolutely adore taking her on walks and going on adventures together. I was her main trainer in the family, even though I was merely 14 at first! I am 24 now and my love of dogs has only grown. My family and friends often have me dog-sit for them, because I truly enjoy any time spent with our furry friends, and because I believe it is incredibly important to have someone savvy take care of your dogs! I always am researching and learning more about dogs to make sure that I am giving my girl the absolute best. I have helped train puppies, taken care of seniors, and have cared for reactive dogs. I would love to help take care of your furry family members and give them all the pets they want! I am currently in a college program that is primarily asynchronous, and therefore, my schedule is pretty open! With proper notice, I can be available on any day of the week. I am more than willing to follow whatever routine you already have set for your dog, and I am happy to reinforce any training methods you are working on! I do not mind if there are special requirements, as your dog's safety and comfort is the most important thing.

About: **About me** I am a business owner, I have a dog that is super social but if your dog doesn't play well with other dogs then my dog can go to my parents ( that's what I usually end up doing anyways) This way the dog that I am watching gets my full attention. I am lucky because I can pick and choose my work so I can be around the house for longer hours & all day if I need to. **About my home/services** I live in a large apartment downtown Burlington with a balcony that is accessible to the street level. It can be closed off to allow the dog to sit outside with me. Your dog has free range to roam my place, I live really close to Spencer Smith park and love to take walks by the water. When I dog sit, generally people bring over their own dog bed, food and toys. They let me know how many times a day to walk the dog and if it needs any medications given and/or any special instructions and I would be happy to take care of it. **About my neighborhood** I live right downtown. I have Spencer Smith Park right across the street. It's a great easily accessible neighborhood, with lots of really nice areas to talk the dog out for walk. **What to expect** We would go on a great deal of walks, fetch & catch. **Special rules or requests** We can discuss any special needs in person. I work from home so my schedule is focused on how I determine it will go. I work for you, there for I am available when you need me. When caring for pets—whether in my home or my client’s—I focus on creating a calm, safe, and predictable environment. About: I've had dogs since I can recall. We had an old man past almost a year ago roughly living until 17.5 years old. Stubborn but loving dog! Got a beagle within last few years of our old dog's life. I don't live at home with the beagle anymore, just my cats but I still love dogs as well! I have experience providing meds via a syringe. Not really pills for dogs/cats. Also putting on a diaper and getting up through the night, removing diaper, putting back on. Getting up a few times a night for puppies. With their small bladders. If you worry about noise complaints by playing in the backyard, I can walk them a couple times in a day if needed. I'll love them like my own! And take lots of photos :D I do work a 9-5:30pm job (Monday to Friday). I would still be able to feed/let out or by leash to let them do their business in the morning. When getting up to feed and before leaving for work. After work feed/another bathroom break/walk/a bit of play and some cuddles ofcourse! (I don't leave my cats alone for overnight stays. My partner takes care of my children when I'm away) I can't do boarding but I can do overnight stays/drop ins. I usually prefer to have the owner write a list of instructions for how much food to be given/times if they extra meals, a supplements needed or medication. I always use alarms for medication so I don't forget to. And for any additional information thats good to know or where things are located. I may still ask the owner where things are if I can't find an item. I make sure items are not in reach or access to anything their not supposed to have. I won't leave your place in a mess, I can vaccum if needed before returning. I love being around pets and wish to provide them care/love while you are away. Care for them and hopefully can sleep with them. Unless they don't want to. I hope you can give me the opportunity to care for your furry children!
