About: I'm finally making my return to Rover! And bringing back much more experience, knowledge, and skills. 🙋🏻♀️ For the past few years, I have trained and boarded a variety of dogs - most of them being rescues. ❤️ When I first signed up to be a foster paw-rent, I dove into the deep end in order to be ready to receive a new dog and provide the best care and home for him. Our first foster dog ended up have a whole host of behavioural issues that really helped us learn how to deal with dogs that may need a little extra attention. I have very valuable experience with reactive dogs that also deal with separation anxiety. Also, my former roommate and I rescued a pup who now is full time with her (I moved into my own house) and even has her own kids book series! (Penny Tries to Boil the Ocean) I am an active individual and enjoy going on adventures! I will protect your dog from anyone and anything so your furry friend will be safe with me and will also feel loved and have lots of fun! I used to be a former lifeguard/swim instructor so if your dog loves to swim, we're meant to be! :) My partner is a paramedic and when he's not at work, he loves to partake in the walking/training/entertainment. I am also flexible so you never have to feel stressed when working with me. I am quick to answer in case you need to reach me. I am against littering so rest assured that I will be a good poop-picker-upper! PS, if you want a mini-photoshoot of your dog while you're at work/away, I'm your person. If you have any questions or want to jump on a phone call, just send me a message. I hope to meet you and your furry baby soon! I'm in tech and work full-time at my home office. It also gives me flexibility so for the most part, I can accommodate different schedules whether if it's for pickup/drop off or for your dog's routine. I live in a lovely neighbourhood and am in a house that is dog-friendly with a small backyard. We have a cat at home, who only gets along with dogs.
“I recently broke my ankle and Valerie was a life saver. She was very professional, on time and my pup was excited for their walks together. Will be using Valerie again in the near future.”

“Caroline was wonderful - she sent pictures and comments of every walk, and Minnie loves her! Minnie waited at the door for her to come for her walk the first night I was back home. I will certainly ask Caroline the next time we need a walker!”

About: I have had my dog for 10 years now, and I absolutely adore taking her on walks and going on adventures together. I was her main trainer in the family, even though I was merely 14 at first! I am 24 now and my love of dogs has only grown. My family and friends often have me dog-sit for them, because I truly enjoy any time spent with our furry friends, and because I believe it is incredibly important to have someone savvy take care of your dogs! I always am researching and learning more about dogs to make sure that I am giving my girl the absolute best. I have helped train puppies, taken care of seniors, and have cared for reactive dogs. I would love to help take care of your furry family members and give them all the pets they want! I am currently in a college program that is primarily asynchronous, and therefore, my schedule is pretty open! With proper notice, I can be available on any day of the week. I am more than willing to follow whatever routine you already have set for your dog, and I am happy to reinforce any training methods you are working on! I do not mind if there are special requirements, as your dog's safety and comfort is the most important thing.
“Raveen walked Scout for the first time, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment they met, Scout bonded with her immediately, which says so much because he's usually a great judge of character. Raveen was warm, patient, and clearly has a natural connection with dogs. She kept me updated, took wonderful care of Scout, and made his first week with her completely stress-free. It was obvious that Scout felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for. It's such a relief knowing he's in such capable and caring hands. I highly recommend Raveen to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and genuinely amazing dog walker. We can't wait for Scout's next walk with her!”

About: My name is Liam Clark and I have loved animals all my life. They bring me joy when I'm feeling down. I enjoy walking, and caring for, all types of dogs and have even worked at a family owned pet store that dealt with puppies of small breeds. I was able to care for, clean and pamper them when I did have customers inside the store. The services I can offer are dog walker, house sitter and dropping in. I have walked numerous sizes and breeds of dogs ranging from Labrador retrievers to dachshunds and smaller breeds like Shih Tzu's. As for house sitting, I have experience using multiple entrance keys and buzzer codes, plus entering different homes to drop in and walk the dog. I am in the process of getting a police check done as I am 18. Currently Pet care is my schedule as I have been catsitting for multiple households throughout the last 2 years, preforming drop in care and live in care I normally meet with the family and their pets before the pet care to get to know each other and hopefully begin connecting with the pets. I follow the instructions given by the family in regards to food amounts and medicine needed.

“Jeff and Monty are best friends. Jeff takes great care of Monty and genuinely enjoy spending time with him. He is responsive, reliable, and punctual. Can’t recommend Jeff enough.”

About: I’ve taken care of awkward dogs, affectionate dogs, chill dogs and I have experience with feeding them their special diets as instructed and following any specific potty time habits they may have to help them go potty. For example this one dog I dogsat would have to spin around in circles a few times before he went potty. I have experience saying overnight with dogs as well as cats. I have cats of my own as well and I’ve been around all kinds of pets my whole like so I’m very comfortable around most pets. I will be attending full time school in September but I will have time in between classes or before/after where I can schedule play dates and walks. When I enter the home I keep my energy calm. I try to get a read on whether the pet is comfortable with being approached. Then if they are, I hold out my hand so they can sniff it and familiarize themselves with my scent. I will follow any specific instructions there are so I can make sure they’re following their routine. I will play with them. A lot of the dogs I take care of enjoy tug o war or fetch. But with any pet, before play time I would want to have some time to just sit around them so they can get used to me before we start playing/walking. I am not able to do any overnight stays at the moment.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs throughout my entire university journey, three years of walks, cuddles, and drop-ins for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. From bouncy puppies still learning the ropes to gentle seniors who need a little extra patience, I’ve handled it all. I’m also a cat owner myself, so animals truly are a part of my everyday life. Whether your pup is a high-energy large breed or a small dog who just wants company, they’ll be in fun, caring hands with me. As a university student, my days are flexible and I structure my time around the dogs I care for. I’m available for walks and drop-ins throughout the week, and I’m always reachable and responsive when pet parents need updates or last-minute bookings. Since I come to your home, your dog gets to stay in their own familiar environment — no stress, no adjustment period. I treat every client’s home with full respect, follow any house rules or routines you have in place, and always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure before anything else. You’ll get updates and photos throughout so you always know your pup is safe and happy.

“This was our first time using Rover and it couldn’t have been smoother. Lorraine was very responsive and reassuring. We were kept abreast of her entire interaction with Jasper including photos of the walk and details of their time spent together. We would highly recommend Lorraine and know we won’t hesitate to use her in the future.”
“I have been so happy with Shahzada's time with my dog, Chewy. The are so bonded and enjoy their time together. Shahzada has moved and will no longer be able to walk Chewy regularly. We are so sad to lose him. If you are looking for a dog walker, check out his profile. He is the best.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Burlington choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
