About: I have always grown up having a dog in my family. As I got older I started finding ways to have more dogs in my life by watching family and friends dogs as well as pet sitting through other platforms. I have recently started volunteering at the humane society. Taking on more responsibilities for vulnerable dogs. Having experience with various dogs and breeds I feel I have the patience and understanding to work well with any dog. I currently work full time. My days off are Thursday and Sunday. The days that I do work I am done work by 3/4pm each day. I have a flexible schedule and would like to fill my spare time with dogs. Caring for your pet in your home will consist of following all your rules and instructions. I understand that this dog is an important part of your life and I will do everything to keep them safe. I will not be offering pet care in my home.

About: I’m recently retired and miss having a pet around. I grew up with an English setter and we had a cock-a-poo called Teddy for 18 years while the kids were growing up. I’m retired and have all the time in the world to walk, play and cuddle with your dog. Sadly im not available to care for your dog in my home but I’m available for dog sitting during day, evening and overnight in your home. I will take really great care of your dog in their own home where they’re comfortable and settled. I’d keep them in the routine that they enjoy and spend lots of time with them outdoors, walking, playing and having fun.

About: I’ve helped multiple friends and family with their pets over the past 10 years. For 8 years, I myself owned an English Bulldog named Wilbur. I now have a 3-year-old Golden Retriever named Buddy. I am a mom of two and a teacher. I am an educator, so I am available each day of the summer to support you. I would be happy to walk your dogs, visit them or board them. I have a fenced yard and a park across my street. I have a people and pet loving dog myself. I am trustworthy and flexible and can work with what your needs are!

About: I have a 1 year old puppy Finnigan who could use a friend as I work from home. I would have to make sure the dogs meet in advance to ensure a good match. I work from home and my typical schedule for walks with Finny is a 40min walk at lunchtime and a 20min walk after work. We would love to make new friends! I have a one bedroom condo with a balcony overlooking a forest. Finnigan is friendly with almost all dogs and people. I am laid back and friendly!

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and the hands-on experience I’ve built over the past 8+ years caring for my own pug as well as dogs belonging to friends. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities — from energetic huskies and playful poodles to smaller breeds like chihuahuas. I understand that every dog has different needs, routines, and comfort levels, and I always make it a priority to provide attentive, and reliable care. Whether it’s going on walks, playtime, feeding, or simply making sure your dog feels safe and comfortable. I’m especially good at adapting to different energy levels and I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and someone pet owners can trust with their furry family members. I currently have open availability throughout most weekdays during the daytime. This gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and care they need. In the evenings, I am generally unavailable after 6 PM. Weekend availability can vary depending on my schedule, but I’m always happy to communicate and coordinate in advance to see what works best. I care for pets by keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. For drop-ins and walks, I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding, water, medications, exercise needs, and any behavioral preferences. Safety is very important to me, so I make sure pets are always secure during walks and monitored closely at all times. I also respect clients’ homes by keeping everything tidy, and provide regular updates and photos upon request so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for :)

About: I am e-collar trained for dogs which is a unique skill. I come from “dog people” and am said to be a dog whisperer. I have 2 dogs, both poodle/doodle mixes under 24 pounds each. I work from home most days and would plan my boarding accordingly. I am often the friend/family boarding spot. I believe in crates for dogs who need it or are trained that way and for many dogs it’s the safest for them when alone both physically and emotionally. I have one dog (rescue) who eats and sleeps in his crate and another who sleeps sideways across the bed. I no longer have cats but have also grown up with them and can do in home visits. I currently work mostly from home. If you are stuck deciding to do that dinner with a friend or in traffic - just message me, I will run over and take care of your pets potty and meals. If you want your dog to stay at home with others but need drop in or a walk, I’m happy to do that too. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. There is plenty of play, hugs and cuddles for your fur baby. I have plenty of room too if your fur baby likes to be in their own space.

I have looked after friends’ dogs over the years in my home and out for walks. About: I have had my dog for 10 years now, and I absolutely adore taking her on walks and going on adventures together. I was her main trainer in the family, even though I was merely 14 at first! I am 24 now and my love of dogs has only grown. My family and friends often have me dog-sit for them, because I truly enjoy any time spent with our furry friends, and because I believe it is incredibly important to have someone savvy take care of your dogs! About: I've had pets (dogs and cats) since I was 5 years old. So that's over 50 years of loving and living with my fur babies. I currently have two dogs - one 12 year old Pomeranian mix and a 4 year old Bichon Frisée mix. I volunteer at the Burlington Humane Society in the cat area doing cleaning and maintenance. Also, I have gotten my older dog certified as a therapy dog and together we visit a dementia clinic once a week. It is enrichening to all - the patients, my dog and myself. I am now retired which gives me more spare time to spend with as many animals as possible since I find it enjoyable and very rewarding. Since we have two dogs I understand the need to balance exercise and rest as to not overstimulated the dogs. I will be with your dog during feeding time to properly monitor their food and water intake and ensure that they are well fed and comfortable. When out on walks your dog will be leashed at all times (with NO exceptions). Also, we will not take your dog to any dog parks. Any play time with toys will be supervised to ensure safety - e.i. Toys are not chewed and eaten The more information that you are able to provide the better as that will enable me to properly care for your dog. Some pet parents like to provide a written copy of all their dog’s information which is very useful to have as an easy reference. This is not mandatory as long as your dog’s profile on Rover is as updated as possible. I am retired and have a lot of spare time to play and care for your fur baby. I would be available during the day for walks and my home would be open to care for your pet anytime during the week. My husband and I live in a condo unit and although we have no back yard we walk our dogs at least 3 times a day around the neighborhood. There are many walking paths in my area and we are very close to Bronte Park. We have two small dogs (male 12 year old Pomeranian mix and female 4 year old Bichon Frisée mix) so your dog would have playmates during his/her stay.

I make sure pets get regular walks, playtime, and lots of attention. If your home has a yard, I’m happy to spend time playing outside and helping them burn off energy. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and comfortable.

“This was my first booking with Madisyn. She was great with my kitty Theo. I am very particular about who I leave him in the care of because he is very temperamental and needs to follow a bit of a regimented routine for his health. She met all of my requests without hesitation. She kept me updated with photos and kept in contact with me and even kept track of his bathroom schedule! She also brushed him because he has A LOT of hair - important as a preventative measure so he does not get a blockage(he previously had surgery to remove a hairball!) Theo seemed to have a really good time with her & be very comfortable in her care based on the Live Photos. He loves play time which she was sure to include with each visit. Will definitely be using Madisyn again in the future & highly recommend her if you want someone who is responsible, understanding and who will honestly go above and beyond for your pet so that you can feel at ease when you are not there to take care of them yourself.”

About: I have acquired skills working with all ages of dogs. I currently have a high energy dog who I have dedicated a lot of training with. I have experience caring for my senior family dog who has health issues, as well as my partners puppy. I have over 10 years experience caring for dogs in my neighbourhood and my own home. I have dealt with dog behaviours such as leash reactivity which has allowed me to see just how unique and special each dog is.
