About: I’ve owned and taken care of pets for most of my life. Growing up my family has had dogs, cats, bunnies, fish and even a cockatiel. I’ve house sat and dog sat multiple times and come away with a new best friend each time. I work full time from home during the week on a fully flexible schedule. I can essentially take breaks from work whenever I need throughout the day to attend to any errands or responsibilities on my schedule, pet care included. I am very particular about who I leave him in the care of because he is very temperamental and needs to follow a bit of a regimented routine for his health. She met all of my requests without hesitation. She kept me updated with photos and kept in contact with me and even kept track of his bathroom schedule! She also brushed him because he has A LOT of hair - important as a preventative measure so he does not get a blockage(he previously had surgery to remove a hairball!) Theo seemed to have a really good time with her & be very comfortable in her care based on the Live Photos. He loves play time which she was sure to include with each visit. Will definitely be using Madisyn again in the future & highly recommend her if you want someone who is responsible, understanding and who will honestly go above and beyond for your pet so that you can feel at ease when you are not there to take care of them yourself.”

About: I’ve taken care of awkward dogs, affectionate dogs, chill dogs and I have experience with feeding them their special diets as instructed and following any specific potty time habits they may have to help them go potty. For example this one dog I dogsat would have to spin around in circles a few times before he went potty. I have experience staying overnight with dogs as well as cats. I have cats of my own as well and I’ve been around all kinds of pets my whole life so I’m very comfortable around most pets. I will be attending full time school in September but I will have time in between classes or before/after where I can schedule play dates and walks. When I enter the home I keep my energy calm. I try to get a read on whether the pet is comfortable with being approached. Then if they are, I hold out my hand so they can sniff it and familiarize themselves with my scent. I will follow any specific instructions there are so I can make sure they’re following their routine. I will play with them. A lot of the dogs I take care of enjoy tug o war or fetch. But with any pet, before play time I would want to have some time to just sit around them so they can get used to me before we start playing/walking. If possible I would prefer to set up a test meeting with pets and parents beforehand.

As always, Caroline provided awesome care for my two cats while I was away. She tried various ways to coax my kitten out of hiding until he became familiar and friendly with her and catered to my senior cat by finding him and bringing food and treats to him when he would not appear during her visits. Her communication was excellent as well.
